This was the first time I have eaten at the Powerhouse Grill since the Pandemic and it was a real treat. The food was its usual great quality. I think our waitress must have been having a bad day because she wasnt up to par with waitresses we are used to having there. We had to asked several times for coffee and water. But I did enjoy lunch there.
Usually our experience eating there is pretty good. But last two times our dinner entrees come out too quick. Our salad/soup is barely brought to the table and entrees are brought out before we have chance to finish. The steak I ordered should have been medium, and was medium rare. We felt our meal was rushed.
In Yakima for soccer so was happy to find locally owned restaurant. Both salads were fresh and tasty. Burger handmade thick patty. Steak fries were for a fresh tasting. Reasonably priced. Covid protocol followed.
Pleasant. Employees are nice. The quality of the dishes are hit and miss. The business has raised their prices and decreased menu items.
Convenient, locally owned, a little something for everyone. Breakfast all day, cocktails, milkshakes, tall cakes. Bring the fam.
Absolutely amazing. The staff there is top notch and the food excellent. Those chefs are equally as entertaining as they are skilled. Highly recommended. Spend your money.
Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. Just felt a little under-aged. Definitely where the senior crowd hangs out. 😄Their desserts looked amazing. Too bad I didnt get a chance to try one.
By far the best food experience Ive had since visiting Yakima. Great service. Great good. The portions are huge! Big enough to split between 2 grown adults. Enough to even fill a teenage stomach!!!!!!!!!!!! You get what you pay for and Powerhouse is definitely worth the little bit extra! They go the extra mile!
What they dont tell you is that they cant accept Amex cards, so I had to pay out of my own pocket instead of my company account. The burger was pretty dry and the fries werent the best. Its okay for a quick bite to eat.
We have eaten here before this visit. Just picked up dessert to go. The Carrot cake is too die for. Each slice is of ample proportion reflecting the $8 price. Its not a sliver piece of cake like you get at other restaurants. Four star rating is for the food which is slightly above average.
It was a little long waiting time from order to food arriving. If you only have an hour for lunch, might try ordering to go or select another place.Food was good (not great), but very clean and the waitress was very nice.
I feel obligated to report that both times I ordered breakfast from Powerhouse Grill, I was violently ill, vomiting and/or diarrhea. They need to check out whether their morning cook has clean hands and fingernails. Thats me missing 2 days of work for food that wasnt even good.
Im only doing a review based on door dash orders from them. First time I had a hair in my omlette and didnt order breakfast item this time but got the french dip. My dasher waited there like 20 min and they didnt even give aujus with my french dip! The food was good so I gave 2 stars.

The Meal and service overall could have been better. A lot of local restaurants are struggling with the pandemic. So some service is less than expected. That was how I felt during my visit here.
Food tasted like it had been prepared days ago. Pot roast was soooo dry (ordered without gravy since I’m gf) and the carrots were so over cooked they were dry and soggy. Luckily I ordered a baked potato which was actually soft and creamy. The “homemade” chili would have been better if it came out of a can. It was dry, flavorless and not what we expected. Service was ok. This place should not be called a grill since we saw nothing grilled, only dry over cooked food or deep fried food. Needless to say we won’t be going back.☹️
The food and service was excellent. We havent been here in years and took a chance since the Chinese place we were wanting to go was closed. Very pleased!

Visited on a Sunday, so, it was very busy. Had to wait, but, it was worth it. Home made chips made it worth it. Nice and crispy. Mushroom burger was just right. Thank you Powerhouse Grill. Oh, yeah, though wait staff was very busy my waitress was very attentive. Thank you.

Really good food! We had a couple mishaps but the Manager is quick to fix it. He is definitely why we return as well! The fries are bomb!!

Waited in the lobby to be seated that wasn’t a big deal to us. After being seated we waited for our server to take our drink and food other but no one came to us. Other tables that got seated after us got to put in there orders first and the waiters did not pay attention to us. After 45 min my husband and I decided to leave we where tired of waited. I don’t know if it was because the color of our skin. We where every Disappointed

Ceasar salad with chicken was perfect and just the right size. My friend had the pan fried oysters and they were wonderful! Will go back for sure. Great staff working there.

The Powerhouse Grill has an extensive menu with very tasty entrees at prices that are comparable prices to other restaurants in Yakima. The portions are large, so dont be surprised if you have to ask for a box for Fido. Service is good. Theres a good selection of muffins, yummy cakes, cookies, and other desserts, too. This place is a favorite among older people for breakfast.
I’d say their food is mediocre at best. Also don’t go off the google menu. They don’t have all the stuff it shows and prices are way more expensive then shown.
Though we went at noon on a Friday I thought it would be packed. It was and we were seated immediately. Very clean all COVID precautions were followed and service, food was excellent.

Took the family here after a long trip. We got seated quickly, as the place was not too busy. A server did not come take our order for 20 minutes! I can get over bad service for good food, but sadly this place does not have. My fries were burnt, my daughters avocado tasted like dirty dish water, and the buns were stale falling apart with each bite. Not again!

It was okay. The restaurant industry is struggling and you would think that the people that are working now would do a better job. The fact is, the service was terrible. I ordered some grits with my meal instead of the hash browns and thet brought me my meal and said they couldnt substitute and would have to charge me for the grits but they didnt bring me my hash browns. I told them to bring me my hash browns since I paid for them anyway. Youd think they would have said something before my meal came.
Do not get the beef stroganoff. All it was is fettuccine noodles with mushroom gravy with a dabbe of sour cream on top. Looked very unpleasing. We went a hour before closing and all they were worried about was getting people out the door. There was another group of customers and they had 3 servers and none of them got their order right. When our server took our order she asked me if I wanted a baked potato fully loaded. I said yes. My wife asked for hers to be with sour cream and chives only. We got one fully loaded which was my wifes. I asked about mine. She said mine meal doesnt come with it. WHY in the hell would ask me how I wanted mine write it down. Servers need to know the menu. Again all they were worried about was getting thd place closed and giing home. Never will go back there EVER!
Apparently the cook does not know how to make rare steak. The food on my aunts plate looked horrid. My food ultimate dip was delightful but coming in at the end of the night is not a great idea for this place.
They have real good food, but, it was not as good as I have experienced in the past. They normally give a generous amount of food, not this time, only a fair amount was given.

Nice family style dining. Had the Irish Omelet. Corned beef and Swiss over red potatoes. First time Ive had corned beef in an omelet. Was an amazing breakfast. Nice change from all of the usual omelets. Service was a little slow.

Not very happy waited too long and no drinks first time there menu looked great especially the Prime Rib on Friday unfortunately ill take my business somewhere else I’m willing to give it a second chance 🧐
I used to love coming here. they were known for their excellent service and food.Food was decent but the service this time was not great at all. Had asked for a drink multiple times from 3 different people and never received it. One of which I think was a manager. Also wanted dessert had to wait like quite sometime to even order almost just left but part of my group wanted to try their famous carrot cake so we waited. Overall Ill have to think twice before coming back.

It was my birthday and my uncle bob and his wife made reservations for my birthday party there was 6 of us or more and it was awesome i had chicken fried steak and then they sang happy birthday to me and I got desert i definitely would go there again for my birthday and I do recommend the power house grill for birthdays

Its always consistently great. The only reason not the 5 star was the table was so off kilter that anytime you cut something coffee spilled... they have a lot of business but should take time and resources to fix existing property. But its clean friendly and delicious for a fair price

I had breakfast there recently and I was very disappointed. The plates were small plates the food was served on. I had ham and eggs with hashbrowns and toast and the ham was cut in a triangle (way smaller than they used to serve) and I got one piece of toast that was cut in half but for the small amount of food served the prices were still high. My glass of Pepsi was $3.49. Seems like this place has gone down hill from the times we used to go there after church a few years previously.
Food was good as usual, but the service was extremely slow on this visit. A sweet desert treat was enough to make the overall experience a good one.

So this place has great food. I mean, the variety is great, the quality is great and you can have confidence in ordering anything off the menu.That being said, we work close. The owner of our company is a regular. We eat here a lot. What is consistently lacking is the customer service and the take out experience.Ive had burnt fries with the refusal of no money off, weve been told different amount totals when we went in to grab out take out, and the food has been inconsistent while ordering take out. No cheese on things paid to have cheese, ONE mushroom on a mushroom burger, no condiments on burgers, etc. Today, we received a club with only lettuce, and turkey on it. It was the most dry sandwich i have ever had.I understand that times are hard right now.. but this issue with take out had been an ongoing issue from before COVID-19. I am only writing this review as honest feedback, hoping they will figure it out. Our crew usually loves the food and its so close that it WAS our favorite spot to eat.
