I had a great experience at Lewis & Clark Ford Lincoln. The salesman I had, Dylan, answered every question I had for them and explained the many new functions of the new 2021 pickups. The team there was very good about being willing to negotiate on price, both, on the new vehicle and the price of the vehicle I wanted to trade in. Overall, a great experience for me and my family. Couldnt have asked for anything better, honestly.

I know nothing about cars, but I am faithful in getting them serviced on a regular and timely basis. Our 2020 Ford Escape was at 5000 miles, so I called Lewis and Clark Ford, asked for the service department and Tammy answered the phone. She made all the difference. She answered all my questions with patience and knowledge. The next morning I brought our car in early, visited with Tammy, got the oil changed (free because the car is new, purchased at Lewis and Clark), was treated with kindness and on my way home in short order. What helps this ignorant old man now is that I know I can simply call Tammy and she will give me the help I need.

Service was very fast. However, the service desk lady could not get into the Ford Pass app to apply my points to the service. Said she had been trying since 8am. Also, notice that said my hood was ajar. I looked at it and it looked okay, but for cautionary purposes, I released the hood and closed it again. The message went away. Always a pleasure working with Lewis and Clark Ford.

Follow up: I regret buying the truck. Too many issues with it in less than 3 months. Dealership took care of the first issue at no cost after 3 different visits and time away from work. Next issue; Was having my wifes cars oil changed and mentioned my battery light came on, they said bring it on down to look at it. And found out there is a diagnostic charge of over $100?! Would have been very nice to know that up front. So I would have to say that overall Id have been happier to made the trip out of town to get better priced vehicles.Working with Dylan and the team at Lewis and Clark made my buying experience worthwhile! Very upset with our experience. I have never had to endure a dog fight to get a vehicle. We initially got on their website and one of the automated pop ups asked if we needed assistance, they claimed they would have someone call us the next morning (no one ever called). My husband called up there the next morning and scheduled an appointment for us to view the vehicle and made it very clear we were extremely interested and most likely going to just write a check for it. Thank god we decided to go up there that day (we live 1 1/2 hours away) because as we were starting to drive up there, they were in the process of possibly selling it to someone else. Knowing well enough that we were very much interested. I don’t understand why it’s such a disservice to hold onto a vehicle while we make the drive to the dealership. The sales manager had absolutely no remorse and said it wouldn’t have been any of the salesmans’ faults. It would have been the other customer who bought it because basically (first come, first serve). Good to know they hold very little respect for their customers. I had specifically picked out the car I did and wasn’t driving and hour and a half to buy something else, but then they didn’t care. To say the least, we will NOT be returning.

The guys at the service counter were very friendly; however, they removed everything from my open console and doors to clean it and put all of it back in someone elses car. Based on the discussion they had with the other person, they forgot to his things back in his car. The service person had to drive to the other persons house 20 miles away to collect my things and then drop them off for me but there were still things missing. I got most of it back but still missing an expensive tape measure and network cord. Not impressed even though they tried to make things right.

I am a first-time car buyer and the staff at Lewis and Clark Ford were great! The salesman that helped me was so upfront and honest with all my questions and really put me at ease with the whole experience. In the end I felt like I got a really great deal on a 2019 Ford Escape and the salesman went above and beyond and delivered the car to me after agreeing to fix a chip in the windshield we noticed while test driving! HORRIBLE experience with the service department my appointment was at 9:30 and they told me it would take an hour and a half maybe two hours and they would call me when it’s done I called them after 2 and a half hours to see if it was ready and they said they didn’t want to even give me an estimate because it could be 45 min to an hour so I was frustrated but said ok and called back over an hour and a half later and they told me they don’t know why they told me it was going to be an hour and a half originally when it’s actually a three hour job keep in mind by this point they had already my car over 4 hours I had my husband call around 4pm and they said it would still be another half hour and they STILL NEVER CALLED TO TELL US IT WAS DONE if I could give them 0 stars I would

Cory V. and the rest of the sales & finance staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a very nice newly-remodeled dealership & service center. I had done plenty of research on the pickup I was considering before I stopped at the dealership for a test drive, so I cant comment on their off the street customer service, but I can tell you that everyone I talked to at Lewis & Clark that day was friendly. I bought a Ford Focus in March 2020 from this company and within a couple months I became aware that Ford had extended a warranty on the transmission of the modelFord Focus due to the dual clutch automatic transmission being found to be faulty. I read that Ford did this instead of recalling the part as Ford did not want the expense of a recall. When I purchased this vehicle a few months ago, I was not made aware by the sales staff that this was a known issue in Ford Focus from 2012 to 2016. Instead of making me aware so that I could make an informed decision, I had to find out a few months later when the vehicle started shifting gears abnormally when driving. Some people prefer peace of mind and reliability in a vehicle but I was not given that choice when I purchased the vehicle as the information on the known issue with the transmission was withheld. When expressing frustration with management about this issue, he was not at all concerned for the withholding of the information. He stated that the problem was on Ford company and not on him the dealer and he indicated that it was not the responsibility of his staff to inform individuals during purchases of known issues with vehicles.

Purchased a new to us 2015 Ford explorer sport from Lewis and Clark Ford on November 14. Came to a purchase agreement with the salesman that they would fix all the issues the car was having on November 18. My wife dropped the car off right away the morning of November 18. So they could have the car all day to work on it. He AGREED that these issues would be resolved November 18. My wife came back around 5pm that evening to pick up the car. She looked it over and all they had done was wash the car and got us another key fob. The navigation was still not working, the car was still out of alignment, the driver side mirror was still broken, the hitch cover was still hanging on the back, and the wiper blades were not changed. It’s now 5 weeks out and these issues have still not been resolved. Every time I call I get this big round from person to person. Then on top of it I get lied to by the salesman. So anyone who is looking to buy a new or used vehicle DO NOT buy a car from Lewis and Clark ford in Yankton, S.D. Terrible customer service save yourself the headache.

Very nice salesman over the phone. Sent my daughter there to look at used truck. It looked very nice drove nice. No they way home the lights in the radio went out. Not a big deal it is used after all. After one day check engine light came on. Took it to a local shop they said needs repairs to exhaust which might be pretty expensive. Called dealer and they said tough luck it is used.Really one flippen day!!!!!Need to stay away from this place. I understand used vehicles but come on. Guessing they reset the computer and dumped it on them.

Got to overlook and manage here at one point. They have one technician who stumbles in hungover at 930 am and then go through other technicians one by one. They dont have enough knowledgeable people to teach newcomers the ways which makes for a good successful shop. Most of the service employees dont have an automotive background so its not entirely their fault. Overall fairly small scale dealership, only 1 or 2 technicians at one point and only one person with over 2 years or ford knowledge. If they had more employees and more positions running and overseeing everything it could be alot more successful.

It’s been over 6 months but my experience at Lewis & Clark Ford has still left me boggled.My husband and I were looking for a Ford F-150. We spoke with a salesman, Severn, and met him upon our arrival. As Severn drove the maroon truck up, I noticed the tires needed replacing. Severn got out of the truck and said, ‘We have the tires on order. I think they will be here Wednesday or Thursday. They are going to be replaced.’ I remember replying, “Good because they look shot!” My husband remarked on the cracked windshield and Severn assured us that the service shop was a little backed up but that the tires and windshield would be replaced by the end of the week. We liked the truck and went through paperwork. While reviewing the papers, my husband asked when the tires and windshield would be put on. Severn said the tires were never part of the deal and the truck would be more expensive if they put tires on. We were STUNNED. We told Severn that was not what he said and he denied ever saying anything about tires. We left without signing. My husband called the sales manager, Brandon, who was less than helpful or apologetic. He said the “best he could do” was split the cost of the tires making us pay $450 out of pocket for new (I’m sure less than great) tires. I will never, EVER refer ANYONE to Lewis & Clark and in fact, will make sure people know their lack of integrity.

Dont set up an appointment to look at a car here, theyll probably sell it before you get there...Confirmed availability of a used car on a Friday afternoon. Set up a time with the salesman to look at the car the next morning and said I had a 3 hr. drive so we exchanged cell phone numbers to let him know my ETA. Text the salesman my ETA Saturday morning and he replied sounds good. An hour later, 2 hrs. into my drive, he text that the car got sold even though he tried saving it. I didn’t see this text message until arriving at the dealership.After going back into the dealership for the second time to voice my frustrations with the salesman, he offered to put gas in my car for wasting 6 hrs. of my time. I thought it was a nice offer but would still never do business again with a dealership who would sell a car to someone else when another customer is enroute to view it.

I returned to Lewis & Clark Ford December 23 for a continuing issue I am having with my 2018 F-150. I played an audio file that I recorded of noise that is intermitent and not always there. A technician to my vehicle for a test drive and was able to duplicate the noise. I was told they wanted to get FORD involved with the problem as Ive had the vehhicle in for repair two previous times for a similar issue. I was told that it would take a day or two for FORD to get back to them. I went in December 29th and was told that FORD had not gotten back to them. At this time I am waiting for some kind of response. (Dec 31)On issues like this customer service has to at least keep the consumer informed and up to date on what is going on.

First time with this dealership had a light that came on that needs reset then after I left the dealership then I have a battery light come on went back to the dealership said I had a dead short I got home open the hood here is a wire in plain sight that wasnt connected to the battery. Then all of a sudden my horn doesnt honk so I went back to the dealership at 1 at 2:10 Im looking out at my truck with the door is wide open our lights are on no mechanic around went to the service desk asked the lady what was going on she said theyre still checking on it at 2:30 I get told the horn was shot and the wires were corroded and I was going to cost $200 for a horn plus labor. So I went to Downtown Auto in Crofton Nebraska there was one wire corroded it took him a half hour to fix my horn and it only cost $70. I have totally lost faith in this dealership.

Always get the run around. Might need to think about hiring more techs who are certified to check out peoples cars for dx, recalls, transmissions. Had appts and still got told we can see u today twice. Was told by marc mora that i could just bring my car down and they will look at it and then get there and katie refuse to have the tech who is certified to just do a dx on my computer on my car. It is getting very old. I will never by a ford again due to the service at this dealership.

Avoid buying anything from this dealership. I had issues with the dealership since I left. I had located my car on Autotrader and sent an email and keep in mind that this was after hours and I received and email back right away. I spoke to the salesman several times after that about the car. I finally decided to make the hour long trip to look at the car.The salesman said the car was freshly washed and thoroughly gone through by their service department. I noticed right away that it was not the cleanest but overlooked it anyway. I decided to buy the vehicle and he sent me into the finance department where all the paperwork was already to go all I needed to do was sign. I thought wow they are fast i was in the office a total of 10 minutes and on my way. I put way to much trust into this dealership but I thought since they were a dealership that they would never be crooks. When I was driving home with the car I started having issues so I called that day and they said there was nothing they could do about it but would talk to manager and get back to me.NEVER did they call me back so I called them several time and got one run around after another and still nothing. When I went to license the car the taxes were a lot higher than what I thought it was going to be and I asked them why and they said I have an extended warranty on my car for $2200. They said it was added at the dealership on your contract. So I called the dealership and she did not admit to adding the warranty to my loan without my permission. I was furious when I got off the phone with her that they could just sneak that on my papers and not even say a thing about it. Since I bought the car it has been in and out of the GM dealership for all kinds of things. As of today Im without a car again. I have found out that the extended warranty is not worth paper it was printed on. I also think the car might of been wrecked.This is also something else the Yankton dealership never disclosed to me. So my next step is to contact the better business bureau and report them. If anyone else is having problems with their vehicle that they purchased there I suggest contacting the better business bureau to report them and get something done. Dont ever buy from them as they are a very dishonest dealership and do not care about their customers!

I recently bought a used GMC terrain and was told that they had done an inspection on the car and everything looked great. Two weeks later I took it in because the engine kept overheating. The radiator was shot and the cabin air filter was disgusting. The tech I took it to said, this radiator has been this bad for awhile. At least 2 to 3 months. You shouldnt be driving this until this is fixed. They sold me a car that had problems on it. I got it fixed through another dealership because I live far away from them and they will not cover any price and I dont want to take it to them because I am scared of more issues arising. Other reviews said every time they go in for an oil change, more problems occur. That scares me. So if you dont like near Yankton. Do NOT buy vehicles from them.

My F150 had a recall for the freezing of the doors and the service person broke the door and did Not tell me. I got home and opened the door and parts fell out. Makes me think there are other things messed up. Don Meink

I purchased a used vehicle, 2014 Ford F-150 Platinum, from Lewis and Clark Ford. In the negotiations it was agreed that Lewis and Clark Ford would pay the tax title and licence since I was putting all of my savings as a down payment. In reality the entire deal hinged on them covering the Tax, Title, and Licence because they were not willing to negotiate the price of the vehicle down but were willing to pay tax, title and licence. During signing of the financial documents I did not see where this was listed so I inquired numerous times and was told it had to be shown a certain way on the paperwork so that they didnt show a loss on the vehicle but I was assured that it would be taken care of. When I went to register the vehicle I was informed that Tax, Title, and Licence were never paid. I have spent 2 weeks trying to resolve the situation with the salesman, finance department and the sales manager. No one returns my calls and finally today I was told there is nothing in the contract for Tax, Title and Licence and they could not do anything for me. I put all of my savings down on this vehicle and now I am expected to pay an additional $2000 for tax, title and licence that were supposed to be paid by the dealership. After looking at reviews on line it appears that this is not the first time they have done this and it shows a pattern of dishonesty that needs to be addressed.

They ensured that I left in a car same day that was reliable. Due to unforseen circumstances in the family, I could not keep it for more than month. Next time I want to buy a new car, Ill probably be going back here though!

I told my 13 ford raptor in for a service and a sync update. I got my vehicle back with the update incomplete and the system broken and not functionable. And would not pay or pay part of the cost to fix it do to them breaking it costing me out of pocket 1400 dollars. I would never take a vehicle back to them they are only good for tire changes and oil change that is over priced. I would advice going to any other place if you have vehicle issues.
