Parking is an absolute nightmare and Ive never managed to catch it when its NOT busy. BUT as a Home Depot goes it is really well stocked. Tons of employees running around to help. Great selection. And despite the constant crowds - checkout doesnt ever seem to take too long which is a big plus!
Some if the staff is really helpful. I had an online order, received an email saying that it was ready, so I went there in that day to pick it up and they hadnt fulfilled my order. After about an hour, with a super helpful staff member (not the original customer services rep that was helping me find my order, but then left to go back to his post without saying anything to me, leaving me standing there clueless), he realized that they didnt have the product there. I went back to the customer service and they said the would contact me when they actually fulfill it. I didnt receive any contact from them. I called again two days later and the woman told me that she would fulfill the order now so that I can come get it and shell let me know when it is done. I didnt hear back from her. 😣. Im calling again today as today is the last day of pickup and Ive been on hold for such a long time. No one has even answered the phone and said we are busy, please hold, nothing. I understand they are busy, but at 2pm, I cant imagine it being as busy as prime time would be..... Its just been on hold this entire time. Thats pretty disappointing. See picture.... 🤦🏾♀️. I will stop by there today and see if they have my order now.... Its been 7 days so we shall see....
I love the home depot store at the Bronx market because it is very organized and theirs customers service are awesome.
This store is okay, not great. The prices are fair but the quality of the products is lacking as The Home Depot is known for. The shelves are a mess and poorly stocked and you always have to make sure youre not getting a damaged or open package with missing pieces. The customer service is good if you can find someone to assist you. Ill come here again as unfortunately many other hardware stores have closed but its not a pleasant experience to shop here at all
Organized. Employee in flooring department went above & beyond to get my merchandise.
On Saturday, September 11th 2021 my father walked into the Yonkers Home Depot store. My dad has early dementia. He had been wandering lost in the streets from Friday 7:40 p.m. to 9am, Saturday morning. He couldnt tell us where he was or how he got there. We lost contact around 10:30pm last night until he walked into Home Depot. We spoke to a staff associate named Justin and explained our dilemma, since I live in Florida and needed his help. He managed to get my dad to sit down long enough to wait to be picked and to driven home safely. That small gesture of help made a world of a difference to us. Thank you Justin from the bottom of my heart. Daddy is home safe and sound, thanks to you.
The staff was very helpful came for a toilet left with half the store haha.
This Home Depot is located within an heavy traffic congested area ; so expect to be stuck in traffic if You go anywhere near it; its is located across the NYS thruway from a Waste Transfer station that some dude had to have his name on; back to the HD generally you can find everything you need to do your project ; unfortunately the HD CEO is a rabid Trumpnut so that may influence ones actions and you can always take your business to Lowes up on the hill by Stew Leonards
3 times took an order n charged my car for items not in stock. Then some rude chick wants ME to answer why they charged my card. What the what? Heres a buck, buy some manners, lol
Products easy to find. More than one helpful employee on this visit.
Much better experience than previous visit. Place was very busy. All cashiers were properly staffed. Did not wait long on line. I was greeted and assisted by employees. Great plant selection.
I worked with Anthony Boyd in the windows section and he was friendly and informative.
Found everything no problem, a few prices beat what I was browsing on Amazon so Ill take the win!
Ive ordered from here for delivery a few times. Spoke with Kelly today who helped me on a slightly mistaken order. She called me back in less than an hour, as promised, and got it fixed. Very happy!
More than 35 mins waiting for someone to help me by the “back wall, bay 8 (that isn’t actually labeled) I’m still waiting... Nobody is around. I already asked for help… nobody was sent to help.Update: 50 mins later, I got bounced back and forth from different places, nobody took me where the item actually was.I don’t know if what I was looking for had different name or brand but I never find it. Very frustrating. Even tho it says in the website they had more than 100 in stock… I ended up going home empty handed. If this is how you are going to run this place just send everybody home, put everything self check out and let people figure things out on their own, cuz the employees aren’t much of a help.
Great place to shop thanks home depot for your service to all of us
I love store 8456 but yonkers store needs to improve.
Home Depot has great home accessories, appliances and variety of decorative products. Services are inadequate and customer complaints are always predominant. The store can do much better, if it becomes service oriented.
Great store. They do seem a bit under staffed, however.
Very helpful staff. Went to check out and got a home depot c.f.
Purchased 10 gallons of paint love the colors.
Staff is all round greeting its customers, very pleasent.
Relatively well stocked, with short lines. No complaints from me 😆
Horrible staffing. Home Depot needs to hire more people. Waited for 45min at the customer service desk waiting for the associate that was repeatedly called overhead. He was called 3 times. Nobody ever came. Finally left. Nobody helped
Busy today, able to find one out of 2 items.
Theyre having some really nice tail finally I picked up a vacuum cleaner and a iron
This is the worst Home Depot ever, every time I go there and I ask for help they either ignore me or give me an attitude. They even yelled at me! I understand that everyone has bad days but hey, you can’t take it out on everyone. Also, the place is always a mess and the parking lot smells like someone peed everywhere.
Huge store with everything I needed and decent service.
I love the Depot but the customer service in the lumber (wood) department sucks. I probably would still be there waiting to get my lumber cut if it wasnt for an associate named BOBBY. Please fix the customer service problem in the wood section. Thanks
I think the only positive experience Ive had with employees at Home Depot was in Wisconsin, which is to say, if you want help with anything, youre going to have to hop on a flight to the mid-west. If you know what you want and its there, then yeah, its a store, so it has that going for it.
This home depot really messed up my order. The store has the nerve to call me and tell me that they reordered a replacement without asking me. Now I cant even cancel and have to wait 2 weeks to do so. Poor customer service.
The food is great atmosphere is very nice great vibes
The website indicated 71 items of the product in stock but when I arrived - I travelled 35 minutes each way - there was none in stock. This wasnt the first time this happened at The Home Depot. Very frustrating.
Parking lot filthy same with inside store very messy and workers can care less. Better off going to lowes clean and customer feieny
Great customer service! Employee asked me before I had a chance to ask for assistance if I need help. He was professional, friendly and made sure that I was fully satisfied before going to another customer.
I ordered an air conditioner . they said i would receive it in 2 days. It been 2 weeks and I still dont have my air conditioner. Hopefully before the winter.
I had once very bad experience with employment who cuts the woods. Very very rude guy, also argued with other customers. Afro- American. Age between 25-35. Great service in Garden Center department.
I would only recommend this store if you enjoy getting ignored, losing time in your day and love watching lazy workers take their sweet time with even the most simple of requests. By far the worst store in the city. 1 star because zero wasnt an option.
Great place, but customer service sucks. You cant find anyone to help you.
It was great I love that place 😍
The security officer was very helpful with assisting me.Cashier at checkout was very nice!
Decent staff quality.
Good merchandise at reasonable prices. Horrible credit department and no customer service help with over $700 extra charges.
Had to ask three staff members for help getting a lawnmower down from a top shelf before the third young man finally helped me after he tracked down a lift. All total, close to an hour to purchase a product it should have taken me 15 minutes to pick up.
Its a big home depot my husband ❤ this place ... he always finds what he is looking for .
Great, had exactly what I needed for home
I applied to this store to work as a cashier back in march, I did nothing wrong to them and the store manager put me on Administration leave. Over a hear say n put me out of the job jun 3 without no documentation, that was very unprofessional of them
The guy there was very helpful I asked for a particular item he took me right there he answered any questions that I needed I would recommend Home Depot.
Everything I need at a great price
Horrible service. Employee dont assist to show you were items are located. So many employees walking around and dont wants to help. Drove down to Lowes and Employee helped me in 5 minutes and got me on my way.
They had exactly what i needed and super easy to find.
Shelves are not fully stocked and they only had two styles of rug pads. Parking lot could use some cleaning
Nice job guys I really appreciate it thanks again this was amazing everything I ask was respond clear and very helpful the house look very nice
Very nice place but hard to find some one for help
Great store for any home improvement items or moving supplies.
This store us extremely large, wide aisles and each aisle is colored coded and numbered. A few self-service check-out counters. Very well organized. I love Home Depot.
Very good store .. short staff but workers are nice and helpful
Good they have it all.
Was looking for potting soil, Orchid potting mix, Cactus potting mix, outdoor 13 x 13 x 13 planters, plant food, drill accessories. They had them all. Helpful staff in all areas. Successful trip all around
Average Home Depot. Being closer to Metro-Yonkers this store tends to get more undesirable customers compared to other locations. Parking is poorly designed, espically for those with trucks, and checking out takes excessively long. Better off traveling the extra distance to the Home Depot off of the Saw Mill Parkway.
This place has pretty much everything you need for any home or construction project. The staff is very friendly and parking is usually a breeze. I will definitely be returning to this home depot for future projects.. Im very thankful for their service commitment and dedication to their customers. It has been an honor to shop here.
Very clean and organized. Pretty much everything was in stock.
If it wasn’t for Joe, the cashier at the online pick up cash register, the rating would have been 2 stars. Got run around by 3 different employees when trying to pick up propane. I hope the guy gets an incentive because I’m sure that’s not his “job.” Thanks Joe. As for the 2 guys in gardening, hope something changes in y’all.
The place is OK, like any Home Depot. I spent a couple of hours messaging with Hope Depot customer service about a claim for lower price guarantee. They couldnt help and suggested I called the store. When I called the store, the woman that picked up didnt know about their stores own policy and was very rude. She said what I was asking was not possible and when I said I understand what youre saying but... she rudely hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. I normally dont post negative reviews about any product or service but todays interaction with Home Depot was infuriating.
My favorite store of all time
You can find more things you are looking for here at the home depot rather than at lowes
I purchased 2 herb plants at this home Depot in yonkersBoth plants grew mold and eventually died.I dont have the receipt so it cannot be returned. I also was over charged for the mint plant.Do not get your plants in yonkers.Go to New Rochelle their plants are healthier.
Terrible experiences, worst Home Depot ever. Very rude staff with poor customer service. My wife chose some beautiful cherry trees to be delivered to home but they lost them and never delivered them. We eventually tracked down the trees at the store but they swapped them out with different trees! The ones we chose were gone! And now they are out of stock! They are clueless as to where are trees were and took forever to try to find them but unfortunately we were too late. Stay away from the shopIf possible!
This home depot is alot smaller than the other stores and is very clean and well organized. Its got the feel of being in a department store.
With some help from an associate I was able to locate what I was looking for.
This home depot deserves zero stars! I ordered costume mirror closet doors in February 2020. Because of Covid the order was delayed ( I understand that). When they finally called to pick up my mirror doors, they wheeled me broken mirror doors. They said they would reorder and curve side deliver. I agreed. Weeks go by and I called for my order status. They reported the mirrors were in but they were broken. This went on for 6 more times!! In August they attempted a delivery claiming the doors were fine to be delivered and that the doors will be free now. When the truck parked in front of my house I ask the driver not to bring them down of the truck cause I wanted to inspect them. Sure enough, the doors were broken again! They ordered 2 more times since and they still cant get it together! It is November 20, 2020 and Im waiting for a delivery today. It is past 7:30pm and they stop delivery at 8pm. I tried numerous times to call about my delivery status and no one answers the phone. They have 20 min to make the delivery. I wont be surprised if they dont show up. They havent called to let me know they canceled the delivery. They have 20 min before 8pm, lets see if they can get it right after 8 tries!!!
It’s a convenient store. Anthony McGuire and Trevor J. Meinke were extremely helpful and attentive. The customer service is very good here.
I love coming to Home Depot because of their wide range selection of home improvement supplies. The only thing I dont like is, they cant help me build a Death Star.
Boarded a couple of items for pickup from the store Unfortunately they keep canceling my orders which is frustrating. They need better inventory control. I canceled my complete order theres no point in brackets if I cant have the shelf to put on them
I’ve shopped in many Home Depot over the years. This is by far the worst one I’ve been to! The employees have absolutely zero customer experience! The treat you as if they’re doing you a favor when in reality they should be doing there job! I placed a in store order 5-27-21 around 8 pm. They said the order would be ready after 6:30 am the following day. I arrive to the store around 11:20 am. Went to customer service. One of the woman that works in the front said the order will be coming out soon. So they’re I wait 20 mins pass by then 30 mins. I go to the same woman in customer service to ask what the delay was . She tells me that the freezer is still on top the the rack and that someone went to go get it! But wait? Wasn’t my order supposed to be ready after 6:30am I then asked. So I proceeded to go to the appliance department being that the freezer would come from there. Here’s were it gets even more frustrating!!! I kindly ask a man named Robert if he could assist me. He brushes me away very quickly and says to go speak to customer service. I explained to him that I had just came from there. He’s was not trying to hear anything! Me and him proceed to exchange words mean while customers are watching the entire thing! Point of it is that the Home Depot in Ridgehill is extremely un organized with staff that do not like there jobs! I own businesses and I can tell you that the employees need to be re-evaluated and new staff needs to come in and take over
Home depot is the best! They have anything and everything you need for your house. The people there are also very knowledgeable and the store itself is very neat so its easy to find what you need.
My friend and I are moving and need the packing supplies and assistants of gods so HD is the main spot to get help. This store is like most HD, very large, friendly staff but idk some od the male patrons seemed a lot more rude af then other HDs I normally frequent. Not HDs fault but thought I mention.
Chaotic market place as usual. Good only for contractors who know their trade.
Every time I come to this place I just wanna buy everything and improve my home there’s so many options here to update your house on every aspect that you need to upgrade like lightning, interior design, power tools, paints, electronics I mean everything is here
They are pretty much back to normal. The lines are fast, most items are in stock.
The store has a lot of space that is utilized to provide a wide selection of tools Hardware and garden SupplysStaff is friendly and ready to help as needed
What can I say? Im not being a homer when I say that The Home Depot is really my all-time favorite place to shop for hardware and other things. As you all know by now, they have everything for the professional home improvement contractor and also the weekend warrior. One thing Id like to see improved is the visibility of some of the floor reps, just as it used to be in the past.
Seriously does this store have a shrinkage problem? Its been several times when I found a certain small item on the Home Depot website or the app and it said there were supposed to be certain quantity of that item available in the store but when I got to the shelves where its supposed to be there was none to be found. So I ordered it online and requested a store pickup just to be informed that the item was no longer available. It is either that the employees were too lazy to try to find that small item from the back room or that all the quantity of that item had mysteriously disappeared. Either way it is bad.
The people are very nice and it has everything
No trolleys to move plywood or sheetrock??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.... Staff arent much use either!
I needed precise lumber cuts done on their big saw, and I couldnt have been luckier than to have Chris from the Lumber Dept help me. I watched him make some cuts for a customer ahead of me and was super impressed with his careful approach (that guy was making a kitchen island and it was his first time; Chris was on it). When he helped me with my lumber needs, it was perfection. I told him what I needed, and he put himself into it 100%, a true craftsman. I got just what I needed. Chris is like the best of what you can find here and really all the Home Depot stores I ever go to: someone who listens to the customer, makes sure what the requirements are, then makes sure the customer leaves happy! Thanks!
Slow customer service, waited a half hour for an online pickup.
I love going there always find what I need
I spend more than 20 minutes waiting for 3 quarters of paint. After this time and no seeing the pait ready I asked the person who helped me in the counter. That is been a while, where is my paint? Her answer was that there is no base for the colors that I was locking for. Then I asked is there any other option? No... was her answer. I walked out of the store without the paint...
Great to shopp there
Everything nice good staff
Staff not usually available to help but are helpful when you get them.
Very hard to find someone to help youAnd the lines to pay were HUGE !! Not a pleasant experience
I love their location and the huge parking lot! During my last visit, I was in a rush to get some cans of paint and even though they were about to close (20mins or less) when I got inside, the guy in the painting area was very friendly and helped me out with everything I needed. I left the store with a big smile on my face, because I promised my niece that we were going to paint her room next day and that we were going to get everything that evening.Great service and very nice location, close to my favorite mall and supermarkets. :)They also have a liquor store before you go down to the parking lot to get into HomeDepot itself, it’s located to the left where another parking space is, just follow the signs.
