This Micro Center tops it all. Ever since I was starting to build my first PC, Micro Center was there to give me advice, fix some issues and be supportive throughout it all. Items are reasonably priced, employees are super knowledgable and the service is amazing. I go here 3 times a week just for the serotonin I get to purchase something from this amazing establishment. Everything on my PC (other than the AIO) was purchased through this Micro Center!

I first want to make it clear that this review (and the one star) pertains ONLY the the Knowledge Bar, not the store as a whole. I wanted to just leave a review for the KB but that apparently isnt an option.Ive havent usually had bad experiences at this store including at the Knowledge Bar, but not today. I brought my iMac in because of performance and speed issues. The employee told me that theres nothing that can be done about slowness and wouldnt even look at the machine. He said that machines decay over time or something. I later realized I have a refurbished older laptop, a Macbook Air, that is faster than my iMac, so this statement is rather suspect. I also checked the Knowledge Bars website where the following claim is made:---Speed Up Your ComputerWe can optimize your system, clean out your cache, repair the registry and make sure your system is up to date to achieve peak performance. Same day service!---So, this flies directly in the face of the employees claim. Can you fix speed issues or not? Also, this employee wasnt very friendly and acted like he didnt even want to be there. Im thinking there is an unofficial policy of not wanting to deal with Apple computers here. I think Im better off taking my computer to an Apple store.

Micro Center of the Yonkers is the best computer Repair Shop ever in the entire East Coast. I will recommend them strongly to anyone who will want their laptop repair or their computer repair. You have very warm team that will attend to you honestly and diligently. They are strongly recommended.

I would call them a cheat. To replace my iMac SSD, they are asking me to purchase ssd in their store for $800.00, then they will replace as they are Apple Authorized Center. They can’t replace with any other brand ssd. I will ask apple to take away their authorized service center. Apple does not make hard drive, RAM etc. I asked them to give me in writing, Store General Manager Michael Bedard refused to give me in writing. If someone is honest then he should give in writing. I have heard very bad about Micro Center and today I experienced it. Please check prices over internet first before you buy any item from Micro Center.

Great store with good staff! Recently purchased a 3D printer there, and while their 3D printer guy wasnt working that day, they were still able to help me well! Just know that while the store brand stuff is all good and readonly priced, they do carry some products that are definitely overpriced, if something seems like it should cost less, check online.

Finally visited this Micro Center after years of living here and Im glad I finally did. The place is awesome and has much better inventory than most tech stores. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and quickly price matched the item I ended up purchasing.

Wonderful place as a gamer me and my cousin managed to get ourselves a 3060(for me) and 3070 ti(for him). We just gotta come in scan the QR code and wait for the GPU lottery it comes every Wednesday and Friday. Very good customer services and employees are very nice.

This store needs new management. This store does not handle product launches well. Waited in line 4 hours for a chance at a 3070 Ti and got cut by a group of about 20 15 minutes before scheduled opening. This resulted in no sale of graphics cards or anything else for the day. Would have been avoided if the store could be bothered to check in folks in line or give them vouchers. The 11900k launch on March 30th also was poorly handled in my view. I don’t have a lot of experience shopping at Microcenters but just go to the Flushing Microcenter in Queens. They’re way better in every regard.

I had got a ride from Mount Vernon out to this store and I got there before 10am. The store opened exactly 10 so I didnt wait long before I got inside. The staff were friendly and quick to help and I got out the store very quick as I had someone waiting but they didnt wait long at all. Great shopping experience. Thanks Micro Center!!!

I think is a great place to buy ypur electronics, compared to best buy or pc richardson, i believe Micro center has a large variety of products in theor store.

Long line, few cashiers ended up having to go back in due to price not ringing up correctly.

Very good for finding of parts. Usually find the parts Im looking for, but its a hit or miss when they have em in stock. Has a foul smell sometimes.

These guys are the best. Everyone here goes lit of there way to help. Highly recommend asking for Henry. Helped pick out all my parts for my new build. Was lucky enough to even snag a 3080ti on a restock that day at the stores. Didn’t have to deal with any crazy lines or anything.

Large selection of electronics. Purchased a printer two weeks before Columbus Day. Had minor issues with the printer and on top of that noticed the sale price had changed due to the holiday. Brought the printer back got a credit and replacement printer.

I Came to the micro center with my 12-year-old son to reinstall windows something that usually takes about an hour to install while they were working on the computer My son wanted to Walk around the store to see all the gaming computers and one of the employees started following us around at that point I wanted to take back my computer but it was already in the process of getting fixed.Is just sad how my son have to grow up in a country where your skin color makes you a criminal like I was just spending 140 dollars in your store never had a problem with the law and my son is a very well educated kid.This place is never going to see my money again

Terrible experience. Wanted to look at a new TV. Was called out for using the tv remote even though I had permission from another employee. My every move was being watched forgot his name but was some old man working In the Laptop/TV section (Evening Weekend Shift) kept watching me. Made my experience very uncomfortableFound better prices at Best Buy as well.As someone who works in retail as well I am very disappointed and frustrated.

Now this is rare, a store with employees who actually know about the product theyre selling. As an IT guy who does plenty of research, Ive given up on expecting to be enlightened by a sales associate... but not here.The woman in the audio department sold me on a mic that ended up being a slam dunk, she really knew her stuff. And to top it off, the cashier of all people schooled me on audio tech, which I did not see coming. He was a nearly 20 years younger than me and taught me like 4 things I didnt know in the span of checking me out.Lastly, they have tech things you just cant find anywhere else, whether its thermal paste or a SATA cable. Every other retail store can learn a thing or two from this store.

Im a electronic geek and former retail sales assistant, store manager and office manager. Yeah... this is my go to spot. Well managed with a great staff of young bright sales staff. I dont even go to Best Buy anymore. Great store.

They were horrible. Frankly, Im tired of the Covid excuse for not being able to hire more staff to get the job done. They did patchy work. I bought a TP card from them, because my computer was not reading the wifi in the new place Id moved to. One clerk suggested that I purchase a card, when I installed the card, my windows would not work. I took it in, and did not get my computer back for two weeks. Every time I checked with them, I was told a story about the tech only comes in twice a week. I needed my computer to work from home. When i finally got it back, there was no explanation of what was wrong, and what they did. I still dont know if the TP card I purchased from them was defective. All I know is that this warranty work cost me over $100.00 . Will I ever purchase another computer from them?! Highly unlikely ! Im not impressed.

Wow didnt know this place existed till today. Large selection of electronics. Pretty good prices. We ordered online and picked up. Short lines and the service was good.

Never buy a Powerspec pc. It is a poorly made machine that is Manufactured by Microcenter. Bought one two years ago and its already causing problems. Also they do not have sufficient tech help at the Yonkers store. A complete waste of money.

First off: the workers at this location were professional and courteous and friendly. Dont want to knock the individuals I met who helped me.However, I was told on the phone to come in for a repair that would take about an hour or so. When I arrived I was told that not only would they not do the repair, but even if they did it would take 3 to 5 business days. Why tell me one thing on the phone when the complete opposite is true once I arrive? Messed up my whole day.

I mean, this store is my adult Toys R Us. It fills me with joy. They have absolutely everything and their staff is top tier. The manager is a rockstar! He never stops helping his patrons. Then to top it off, they have several thousand 5 star reviews. I cant express how hard it is to create this type of atmosphere. Michael has done it though. When I need parts for a repair or almost any electronics this is my go to. Much larger and better stocked than anywhere else around. More often than not theyll have enough things to choose from you may lose some time when you go in. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

What a relief to speak to knowledgeable associates that know what theyre talking about. Never had a bad experience buying things ranging from PC components to monitors.

Abysmal, I find this particular store to be unhelpful and unprofessional. I had a custom built PC and explained my issue with great detail. At first I was told itd be best to go back to that location but after a bit of a back and fourth between me and the employee he said hed take it in and would have my computer be looked at by a technician. Its been a week now, the repair process hasnt moved on the email. After awhile I tried to get in contact with the store and went to the Website where I chatted [via online chat] with a representetive on their website wbo couldnt see much going on after providing my SV number. He said hed get a hold of someone and have them contact me the following day and yet nothing has happened. And its about to go on for a little over a week nownwith no progress reports or no one to contact so far. My best bet, either take the travel to another store. This has been my experience and first time in this store.

Took my Pastor there to buy a computer and the experience was excellent.

I love this store, its like an old school CompUSA. I would drive 40 minutes just to look. Always has what I need and store staff are always nice and very helpful knowledgeable. Best part is if someone doesnt know what they are talking about they are always able to find someone that has an answer. And they match Amazon sold/shipped by pricing

I believe I worked with Remi July 4th. The experience here was excellent with him. I definitely received a different experience than other electronic stores such as Best Buy. I will say this based on my needs he customized what I needed for a laptop. I presented what I had purchased at Best Buy and he checked those specs before showing me what they offered. Please note I had this laptop for a few years and it didn’t fulfill my needs. It was not able to handle multitasking . I had it this long because I had another computer. Remi gave me a thorough knowledge on specs for what to look in a computer for my purposes . For what I needed this computer purchased from microcenter is great and I have been using it frequently. I see why they brand themselves as knowledgeable specialist. From now on this is where I’m coming first for computer and electronics. I came here to just check them out and go to Best Buy. I know understand the difference. Please note their prices are competitive.Thank you Remi and the team.

Extremely well run store. Everyone is very solicitous. As you enter the store, the covid protocol greeter asks if you know where to find your intended purchase and actually offers to show you where it is (and he doesnt need to go to that extra trouble, the place is fully staffed). As you browse the store, random employees greet you and inquire if you need help finding anything. Nothing pushy, just polite and friendly. The hiring and motivating at this store is outstanding- everyone has bought in- courteous and proactive; no easy task given the great staff diversity. And its a great lesson for most megastores- takes you longer to find an employee to help you than the time it takes to purchase and find your parked car. Well worth the a trip out of your way to this spacious, fully stocked store.

All that we have left as far as dedicated computer parts and services, CompUSA and others are finished including recently Frys.I like the fact that Im able to find any computer components I need along with price matching, also rapid pickup or delivery.

They were terrific. Had a problem with a DELL computer n Dell customer unservice sucked...horrible...for a month. Could only talk to Philippeans or India and they couldnt find problem and refused to replace.We bought it at Micro Center and they were terrific after hearing our Dell saga. Walked out with a new Lenovo computer

All the staff were very helpful. I know they prob get a commission or points based on who helps and can sell stuff based on the stickers. But almost everyone who passed by would ask me and my sister if we needed help. One guy with messy hair who had the keys was a chill dude and very informative. He specifically helped me a good amount. The girl with the Christmas gear on her head and cat mask was so nice and helpful. I appreciated that she was honest. She got me the tablet I bought and answered all my questions and even went out of her way to help me when she didnt have to. All the staff was nice and helpful. Surprisingly even the checkout on black friday was fast.

It was fine. I went to see if my laptop could be repaired, but its too old to be fixed. Im glad at least they tried.

Sales associates were very helpful in finding me the printer ink and the external hard drive that I needed. Theres a wide variety of items for every necessity, but the expertise shown by the associates helped me to make a lucrative decision on products. 5/5 would come back again over Best Buy, even if the products cost a little more (but not too much!) Customer service would definitely keep me coming.

Actually went in because I had a coupon for a free Raspberry pi. Decided I might as well get a new headset while Im there. Couldnt find an associate to help me get item out of the locked shelf. One told me he was busy with another customer and that someone should eventually show up. Another tried to help me out by requesting someone with the keys to meet me in the aisle via intercom. Noone showed up. Ended up just leaving without using the coupon or buying anything.This isnt the first time Ive sat around the store trying to find someone to help me.. Pretty good place if you dont have to rely on the associates to get your item though.

The best store in my personal opinion for anything electronic or tech related. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and patient. Everyone is willing to answer questions and help you get exactly what you need. The store is on top of cleanliness and social distancing procedures and makes shopping there a breeze. I will always recommend Micro Center over any other electronics store, I nor anyone I know has ever had abad experience there.

My husband was waiting since 7am to get 3000 series graphic card and there was already a line of people and at 10am employees said that delivery truck arrived, but they don’t know yet how many cards they will unload, if there will be any. At 12pm they notified that there were only 12 cards so majority of ppl in line left with nothing. One guy from this line said that he is coming three times a week for 3 weeks in a row to buy 3080, but still have not gotten one.This is ridiculous, I understand there is a shortage, but it would be nice to know at least how many cards they are supposed to get delivered on that day. I can’t believe that the truck is coming and no one knows what it supposed to deliver.

Due to the current GPU market from scalpers and Bitcoin miners, it is very hard to get the parts you need to build a good rig. My rating is more reflective of stores ability to keep up with demand. You can find some good deals on some display stuff like monitors, I remember purchasing a 2k 144hz monitor 3 years ago for a very good price. Theyre friendly and theyre honest.

This is the microcenter by my house and Id have to say its always the same experience!. This time I went in looking to purchase a laptop. I go in towards the Microsoft section to look at them, and behind me are 3 employees simply standing and talking to themselves. Not one approached me asking me If I needed assistance or anything. I kept looking around and although they saw me looking no one cared to help . I was there about 20 min looking but with no assist nor help, I ended up walking out empty handed. Headed to best buy instead.
