Recently visited to purchase some lawnmower parts. The Home Depot associate, Hannah, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In addition, she was about to be off the clock - dedication and putting the customer first! She took the time to ensure that the parts were correct for the specific lawnmower. Thank you, Hannah! 👍🏽

Bad customer service. Went there to buy a snow blower but I dont think they needed our money because when we asked for help the sales person sent us to talk to another sales person and he sent us back to the first guy the first guy tried to send us back to the second guy..we had enough of the game and finally left the store. They lost a $2,000 sale

I was in twice the same day & needed mulch. A very nice young man loaded it on a cart & put it in my car both times. His apron said Dakota. He deserves recognition for great customer service!!! I have knee & back issues and thst was a big help.

Hime improvement store.They sell stuff that allows you to improve your house.Some of the stuff they sell are nails, washing machines, lawn mowers and pesticides. They also have a soda machine...not quite sure how Pepsi improves your house but they do sell it.

Went in to the York store 10 minutes before closing last night in need of a painting tool. Trevin was incredibly helpful, locating the area where it should be, noticing that they were out of it on the shelf, and looking it up to see if any were in stock. He found them and went to the above-shelf area to bring them down and handed one to me, enabling me to purchase the much-needed tool before thunderstorms started. Only one employee acknowledged me, that was the poor girl out collecting carts in the storm of Hurricane Ida, I was there to try and deal with water in the basement, I was there right before closing so you would think they would want to help me as quickly as possible, many employees just standing around.

Selection has been decent. Sometimes the online order pickup system is REAALLY slow. Theyre probably short staffed like everyone else.

I like home depot I do, better then lows, but I got in the habit of not having my cards with me, and a huge drawback of home depot, they do not have contact less pay for in store purchases, so totally had to be embarrassed when I could not check out with a cart full of stuff. I just love it when you go up to the register and you find out that you cant pay because they dont accept your payment type four big conglomerate chain store this its not a positive thing

Went in to get a window blind. As I was reading what was down each isle, Arlene asked me if I needed help. When I asked her where the blinds were, she walked back there with me and helped me find the right size after asking what kind of blind I wanted. Arlene was very helpful and knowledgeable in the different kinds of blinds!! You dont find a helpful store associate like that very often!!

East York home depot is usually good but today service was outstanding especially for a holiday and as busy as the store was

The most worst HD ive ever been in. The website says this store has 16 pieces of a item. WRONG! They have 0 pieces in the size they are suppose to have 16 of. They have 0 of a larger size that they are suppose to have 14 that the website also says its in stock. Ok, plan B. None of those items was in stock in a different department, yet again the website said the items was in stock. 16 pieces is ALOT of missing inventory. Carts with returns are sitting everywhere along with returns just piled up. While searching the department and the top racks for 3 of those 16 available pieces, 5 employees walked past me and not 1 of them said hello or asked if I need any help.

My husband took me to Home Depot today because all I wanted for Mothers day was a weed whacker :) . The one I wanted was sold out on the floor. An employee named James went the extra mile and found an entire skid on the top shelf that he immediately got down for me!!! Thanks a bunch James, we appreciate you!!!!

Purchased a washer and dry from them. It broke in about a month... They said they couldnt do anything about it.... The manufacturer said its on back order for a unknown length of time.... I still cant wash my cloths and now Im paying out of pocket for a laundry mat. Talked to a employee at the store and they were very rude and pretty much said you bought it without a extended warranty thats your fault... They sold me a brand new washer that broke in a month... They wont let me trade it in or exchange it or purchase a extended warranty or help at all. I called other Home depots and they said I could but this employee is repeatily telling me I am wrong. Horrible experience, horrible employee, I have not had a bad experience like that in a long time. Im just one person but I will never deal with them again.After calling and speeching with someone else:The person I talked to on the sales floor, who was rude, said I was wrong and everyone I spoke to other than him was wrong, he even pulled out a pamplet and said read it your self we cant help you.... Was wrong. I was able to buy the extended warranty and they were able to make phone calls and try to track down the part faster. I dont want to be the person who says let me talk to your manager in these situations but that would have saved me a headache and time...

Service in returns wasnt great. Waited longer than I should have. When my return was processed, the attendant was pleasant. One worker in the garden center offered to load my mulch! She was gave me good pleasant service!

Went to the rental service to rent a truck female was on a call noticed 2 vehicles available outside, she seemed to busy to assist me so I went over to grab stud finder and tv mount came back 4 minutes later to discover someone came a rented both vehicles. Next time lady help the customer in front of you please

I always try and use Home Depot over Lowe’s any time I can as they seem to have a better selection and the staff has always been hands down more helpful and much much more friendly! If you’re in the area and need supply’s or tool rentals make sure this is your stop!

Bought a washer there. The delivery guys run into a snag at my house would not give me time to pull a door so washer would fit and be installed. The delivery guys were rude and left the job incomplete. Lost 2 days of work over a washer delivery and instillation. Though home depot did compensate me it didnt cover the 2 days of work lost and the hours on the phone trying to correct the issue

My father feels that if he cant get something at Lowes then Home Depot will most likely have it or cheaper.

Looked up item on website to see if they had item and was pleased they had it AND it gave exact location, isle and bin, so we didnt have to wander around searching.

Very very disappointed with Home Depot. Bought a refrigerator the beginning of February. 2 days later they came back to switch my doors. While doing this they scratched the outside of the doors. So a week later they brought another fridge and when they took it out of the box it was dented. So they rescheduled another fridge a week or so later. Everything was good with the fridge and so they changed the doors again. WELL, after they left we found a screw on the floor and the fridge door wouldn’t close right. Also loose on the hinge. After 4 times removing my food from the refrigerator and freezer I am so done with Home Depot!!!!! Never will I buy another thing from there. They can take this refrigerator back and I will go somewhere else.

Clean up the store. There were carts piled full everywhere. I understand the importance of curbside pick up but it is almost impossible to navigate through the store.

I went to pick up my online order. Returns cashier says the sku we bought that shows 13 in stock is not in stock and to come back in 3 days or so.I searched around for an employee to help me. 45 minutes later I found someone. She couldnt use her handheld so called someone.The L&G Supervisor Dave came and we found the 13 chairs in stock. He was great and very knowledgeableWe pulled the 2 chairs and the Supervisor Dave told the male cashier who didnt help me the first time (short guy dark hair wearing orange hoodie 3/14/2021 on returns register between 1 and 2 pm) to help me and explained situation.He didnt help me right away and another cashier freed up. That person while helpful had no idea how long I was waiting and called someone to search for my order. I pointed out the cashier who was supposed to help me who had freed up but instead of coming over to fix the problem he caused in the first place went to another person.I lost it.Then the bad cashier adds insult to injury and tells me if Ill just wait he will help me when he is done waiting on the person he waited on instead of helping to fix my problem that his laziness and quick lack of service answers and lack of customer service attitude caused.

RALPH!!!!!!! EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE!!!!!! Helped me find everything I needed in lighting. He even helped me find the right fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide monitor. He made my experience at Home Depot GREAT! I walked in thinking Id probably not come back, but after working with Ralph, Ill be back!

Giving a mediocre review. They seem well stocked. I guess after 7 they close all but 2 registers, forcing you to use self checkout if youre impatient. We had to use customer service to return an item, that took 45 minutes with 2 people ahead of us.

Despite my having an issue with the internet, so that I could not connect with the HD app...The young man working at the time I was there, spotted me sitting in a pickup location (#4) and came over and asked if I was there for a curbside pickup. I affirmed that I was but could not connect to the internet to retrieve order numbers. He immediately pulled out his pos handheld unit and began looking for my name. Said he would be back in a few minutes. He did return in a very short time and asked if my first name was Greg or larry.Once it was known to him I was Greg... he said he would be right back.He returned in a few minutes with my items and seemed happy that he had located the 2 orders.This young man was quite nice and very accommodating. I wish I had asked for his name, but I failed to do so.I very much appreciate the efforts he provided and I thank him very much ... and tell his boss that he is a fantastic face person to interact with customers. And, I think he should receive a pay raise.

They have good light bulb options and hydroponics stuff compared with local lowes. But, I have had several but customer service situations here. I ordered parts for pickup and it took forever for no reason and they broke my bulbs and I had to wait 20 mins for someone to get a new one. I could have just showed up to the store and bought bulbs way way faster. I also have been looking for employees for long periods only to find one on their phone who when I asked them a question about a part for a fan he just went on his phone and searched the website which I told him I had already done.

Online order called right away was on phone for and hour and they would not change to ship to my home store or my residence. Never will do online orders again, no one could resolve problem and had to go an hour out of my way to pickup and took 2 hours out of my day, that customer service could not resolve this right after ordered.

The York,PA location is constantly understaffed, as stated by many employees, and experienced each time I go. Ordering items for store pick up takes much longer at this store alone. Two or three times I’ve ordered online and the items are delivered to the store according to the HD App tracking, but don’t get processed for pickup for 5 days after they’ve been delivered. Also placed an in store pickup of about 8-12 items for a job I was on, that were in stock and to be picked up the next day. Not only did they never call, but when I called and then showed up late the next day, after waiting 20 minutes in line at the pickup desk, they said, “here’s a printout of your order, you should go get the items and come back up and I’ll verify the list and check you out.” Sorry, but I know how to shop at a store. I’m a pro hoping to save time and it took longer to order online, waste time calling, stand in line for 20 minutes, and the pick my order anyway. If they don’t want to, or can’t, provide a service, DON’T OFFER IT! I’ve never had these issues at other HD locations, including Shrewsbury, Hunt Valley, Owings Mills, Westminster, and others. I love the store, hate this location.

I ordered a patio set online to be delivered to this store. This store was out of my way but the product would show up here 1st before my local store could get it. We were supposed to get it on April 1st. It arrived at the store in 2 pieces, one on the 8th and one on the 9th. We called on April 10th and was told by the call center that it was at the store. The manager said that it was still in the truck and didnt have the man power. Even the call center asked why was it still in the truck.I was expecting a notification at some point that we could come pick my patio set up. I ended up calling back to the store on 4/15 and was told that it just arrived today on the 15th. One thing I dont like is being lied to. This is now how you treat a customer that spends thousands of dollars yearly at your stores.

I called in and talked with Scott in flooring. Great to talk to and even took my number to call me back with an answer. Called back in less than an hour! Great customer service and had my flooring waiting for me. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I mean it has everything that I need I went there on Monday to order a 50 gallon hot water tank and because I lost the paper with the order number on it for my wife to call the next day to pay for it off of her visa card the situation got a little bit messed up where I got to go back out there again take the same 50 gallon hot water tank Place another order get the order number and call my wife with it so she can call in and pay with it with our Visa card at all so Im just saying I got a little frustrated with the kid working in there to wear them boots are where you can place orders do things no self and all that so Im letting you know wasnt his fault that I got frustrated am I blaming him for my frustration it just was becoming long it took me 40 minutes of storytime in there to establish the first order was you know nobodys fault I lost the order form cuz it was in my back pocket when I wash my lawn so here you go this is my rating for you store I will be in there tomorrow or maybe even this evening to purchase to the the 50 gallon water tank at all over again bye
