Just bought a small fleet of dirt bikes and quads from these guys for the family. Their facility is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Had great interactions with Kevin, Mike, and Amy. I will definitely be taking my equipment back there for service.We are brand new to the off-road motorsports scene, so I really appreciated Mikes integrity and the time he took to educate us on how the industry works, the rules and regulations governing the use of quads and dirt bikes, and helping us size and buy for the people in our family based on how were going to be using them.As others have said, Amy is awesome. I havent dealt with her personally during a service transaction, but while she was going over our new units with us, she paused and listened, and then politely excused herself. She heard the customer she was just helping revving his engine in the parking lot like something was wrong, and she went out to investigate, and helped him get it fixed...the help didnt end when the monetary transaction was over. I bought my bike from another dealer. After the break-in period was over, I called to schedule the first service and they gave me a 45 day wait. I called Action Motor Sports and explained the situation to Amy. She fit me in THE SAME DAY! All the new bikes are nice, so a lot of it comes down to the service department. In the future I will be buying from Action Motor Sports because of the way Amy takes care of you like family! She is extremely knowledgeable with bikes and honest about everything! A+ and extra credit.

If you enjoy being put on hold for the service department you will love this place. After waiting and waiting and waiting some more for anyone to pick up the call was automatically ended. If they cant hire someone qualified to answer a phone I wouldnt trust them to fix a flat tire on a wheelbarrow

Called five different dealers to replace the front brake pads on my Honda motorcycle. Two rotors on the front wheel and one rotor on the rear wheel. They were the highest quote I received, so they are not very competitive when it comes to service. Checking the internet, I watched a YouTube clip showing that it took a mechanic exactly 12 minutes to replace both sets of pads on the front rotor and 10 minutes for the single set of pads on the rear rotor. Thats less than half an hour of time for the entire job. They wanted to charge me nearly 2 hours of time for the exact same job. I certainly wont go here for service!

Knowledgeable staff helps select correct parts and only necessary repairs. I have purchased 1 new bike and various parts, service and accessories over a 10 year period.

I was lucky enough to walk in as they were putting a Pioneer together in the shop. So I went with this unit instead of another. Had a real good experience with Rick and the whole crew at AMS.

Bought a preowned husky Fc350 oct3/2020 And parts through this dealership. Really good experience with parts who took the time to cross reference parts and call to double verify and also the sales man mike who went over the bike it’s history an was straightforward. Service was great gave me a quick run down over basic stuff on bike since I’m used to Honda and Suzuki . 👍🏼

(Updated) I tried to buy a ruckus from these people. Big mistake! I was set to go in and purchase it but my friend was no longer able to ride with me to drive my car back. Immediately the salesman responds with I came in on my day off to do your deal. As if I chose to not have someone to drive my vehicle back home. So when I told him I didnt like his attitude and I would take my business elsewhere he tried to tell me I interpreted his message wrong, when realistically if he had off today it was his choice to either go into work to make the sale or pass it on to another salesman, but thats my fault. So i decided Id give the company a chance and got ahold of the gm who told me I do think you took Ricks text wrong, because he was standing beside me talking as he was back and forth with you. Thats why he called, I told him people tend to take texting in the wrong tone. And again him choosing to go to work was my fault how? He shouldve just asked me to call him when I figure everything out, instead of i came in on my day off to do this. Ridiculous. After a long discussion the gm and i found common ground and were able to make a deal that made up for the initial experience. Thanks mike.

I have been dealing with these guys since 2009 when I first started riding. They have a real passion for the sport and it is contagious. My wife and I have purchased several bikes from Actions sales department, their knowledge of bikes has insured my family are on the correct and most enjoyable machines. Each year at the beginning of the riding season I have entrust Andy in service to thoroughly service and inspect each one before their first ride of spring. Amy their service manager always makes the appointments for our bikes in a timely and efficient manner. I have also purchased all our riding gear, for myself, my wife, and our daughters at Action, and if they do not have exactly what I want, they are more than willing to order it and have it shipped to my home. I really like dealing with their parts associates when purchasing accessories and gear to assist me in getting the correct item the first time. Whether I am purchasing a simple pair of gloves for my daughter or ordering an exhaust and power commander to be installed by their service department I have always been very satisfied. I went in to get brake pads for my electric scooter that weighs 450 lb, and they said they couldnt help me their bikes have way bigger brake pads, I asked them to take one off and look at it and they told me they were going to charge me almost $50 to do so. May be great for buying a motorcycle, but dont take your electric scooter there.

They kinda come across as snobbish not all the people there but some of them do the ones that arent and want to make a sale are pretty knowledgeable and dont seem to try to push you into something your not sure about

Chase got the trinkets I needed (plugs of correct heat rating and windshield screw insert and stuff) and called when they were delivered. NIce shop. Sales kind of brushed off my question about a new bike, but they didnt have the one I wanted and maybe cant get it right now because of COVID, IDK. Said to check back in November to see if they were off loading any of that model/spec. Probably helpful advice, just seemed odd to not take the lead and harass me for a few months lol Will talk to them when I need parts or another DL650XA (XT) with wire hoops and trinkets. Thanks!!!

My husband and I traveled over 300 miles to look at a Honda Goldwing that was used. Tony came in on his day off to meet us. This place is by far the best customer service I have seen in a long time. We did our research and looked at other bikes and new what we wanted and what we were willing to pay. Everyone responded to our questions and requests making us feel like we were the most important at that particular time. They were efficient on their paperwork and we drove off the same day with temporary tags to travel between state lines. Love this place! Highly recommend them if you are looking for something whether it is new or used equipment. Give them a chance, you wont be disappointed.

This was honestly one of my best buying experiences period. All of the departments were very knowledgeable. Mike was my sales rep when purchasing my FZ-09, he was able to get me the best pricing and also helped me get better rates with their credit union than my own bank! Kevin was also very helpful when explaining their awesome warranty add ones which is a must and a no brainer. Amy and her gang made the walk around experience of the vehicle super informative and useful. Lastly, Jedediah in parts helped me get all of the accessories I needed to make my riding experience so much better. I bought a Suzuki Burgman scooter from Action Motorsports.Everyone was very professional and friendly.They delivered my new scooter to my house for me.A nice buying experience.

I was there with my husband looking to buy some foot boards. We stood there for 10-15 mins without even being acknowledged. We didnt even get a be with you in a minute...NOTHING!! There were 3 people upstairs, 1 was talking to a customer and the other 2 were talking to each other and then walked away, again without so much as a Hi, someone will be right with you! So, I was highly dissatisfied with the level of customer service or lack there of!!

Got a very good deal on a new Yamaha Eluder motorcycle. They were a $1000 under the MSRPIt took awhile to get the deal completed but very happy with the bike. They do have a good selection of motorcycles new and used.

If you want it they probably have it or can get it. It is just so large that you feel like just another body passing through. No one greets you when you first walk in. Sales staff only approach you when they see that you are drooling over one particular bike.

I definitely recommend anyone to do business with them, I spoke to Kevin about a spyder on the website and he definitely help me get it, he was off when I went to get it so he hooked me up with one of his salesman by the name of Jason. I didnt spend more than an hour in there. I was in and out... thanks to both of you guys I appreciate the hospitality.

They were unwilling to put tires on my bike or do an inspection because it wasnt a brand they sell. I tried to order a set of Dunlop tires out of their Dunlop book in order to make the trip worth it. Those specific tires werent in their Dunlop book. Employee confusion set it after I pulled up the Dunlop website with the tires I needed listed clearly, accompanied by detialed visual aids (pictures). Sorry, if its not listed here, we cant order it said the Dunlop retailer. All the while inbetween the rejections and the sounds of flipping Dunlop book pages, I ventured periodically over to the helmet section to find chipped paint off of almost every single one. I believe 1 stars is reserved for restaurants who poison their customers and crack houses, so 2 stars for this place. And 2 more words for anyone who has read this far, Dons Kawasaki in Hallam 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great place to go

I brought my motorcycle in with difficult starting. Now my motorcycle starts right up unbelievably well and one of the bolts I was missing was replaced while they had it. They really went above and beyond my expectations.

Told my husband I wanted to get a scooter, and this was the first (and only!) place we needed to go. He bought his Honda CB500F at AMS in 2013 and I just got my 2018 Honda PCX150 from them. When I’m ready, I’ll be picking up a bike of my own from them as well. Tony and Kevin were so incredibly helpful with the purchasing process, my questions and concerns, and they were both easy to get ahold of. The staff is very knowledgeable and greeted us when we first walked in. I completely recommend AMS to anyone, novice to expert, looking for anything. We cant thank you guys enough!

Here is the deal. I’ve been going there for about 30 years. Yes 30. Back when it was Honda Yamaha Suzuki of york. I knew of Amy back then and to this day, she is the go to gal for gettin it done in the parts dept. She’s currently looking for some special order plow stuff for my SXS as i type this. She has been doing a bunch of research finding what i want. Keeps in touch with me thru the process of seeing who builds what i am looking for. I cannot thank her enough.Cliff is service is nothing less the a stand up fella. Dropped off a SXS I bought from a guy 3 hours away and wanted to start fresh with fluids. I was informed that there were some recall matters to be addressed and that’s exactly what they have done. Again, keeps me in the loop all thru the process. The way customer service should be.To the crybaby whiners who left reviews above crying about pricing. SHUT UP!!! I own 4 businesses. Prices are set according to overhead, staff, insurance and then pray there is profit left. God forbid a business succeeds. If you don’t have the money then save. But don’t bash a company over prices. Trust me real estate on route 30 does not come cheap.In conclusion I’d recommend AMS any day of the week and twice on a Sunday. Here’s to 30 more years.

Ive been going to Action Motorsports for many years and finally had enough. Some of my experiences are... Most of the employees at the parts counter are arrogant and act as if you have no idea what you are talking about. They have refused to replace defective parts still under warranty on two occasions. The guys at the service center have been less than helpful on many occasions. They are too unfamiliar with any of the bikes they sell to help you with an issue you may have. Everything from bikes to parts to service is way overpriced. Save yourself some frustration and go to another dealer.

Ive depended on Action Motorsports for 10 years now for parts, motorcycles, atvs and they have always come through. About a month ago I wrecked my bike and brought it to Actions service department. Well a month later I thought Action wasnt sending my insurance co the info they needed, but it was my insurance company failing. The service manager contacted me personally and is going to make sure everything is kept care of.

I had been looking for my first bike for a while. After about a year of savings was ready. I went into the shop greater right away, but after that went down hill. I wanted a 600cc to 750cc for a first bike. I was shown Hondas and yamahas liked a few of them but a bit pricey. So I sat down with the rep and he invited the sales rep over. Who said if you are looking for bike in a price range I have something for you. He walked me downstairs to the parts and service destination where a 2009 gsxr 1000 was sitting. I told him Im getting my first bike and he said it wasnt that powerful. I refuse to do business with someone who does not care about the well being of their customers. I would, will, and have been drive an extra 25 miles to go to a shop that is much better to work with.

My wife and I just purchased a Bennche side by side Bighorn 500 UTV and we could not be happier. Our salesman Joe did a great job explaining everything and answered all of our questions. The sales manager Dana was great to deal with also. I liked the fact that they are a full service dealer and are close in case I have any problems with my UTV, which I do not anticipate, but it is nice to know I can get quality service if needed. I would not hesitate in recommending the folks at Action Motorsports in York, if you are in search of an ATV, UTV or Motorcycle.
