We scheduled an oil change and full detail about a month in advance. We get a call the night before our appointment asking how this happened and it was scheduled wrong. So they put us in a rental and delayed our appointment. Then call us with $5600 of work that needs done on a perfectly fine car. We take it in religiously every couple months for an oil change and their “multipoint inspection”, and all of a sudden there are multiple things in the red. We replaced the cabin air filter ourselves in august and it needs replaced ASAP. When we get our car back, driving it home everything shut off on my husband. No power steering no breaks, when we look under the hood everything was saturated. So we were put back in the rental. Just picked up our Subaru today and looks like the full detail does not include removing dog hair….never purchasing another vehicle from apple subaru again.
We had an awesome experience at the Apple Subaru dealer In York. We moved from NJ on 7/1. We needed a new SUV and after reading the great reviews from Apple we decided to purchase our car here.We were greeted by Nate, outstanding service we got from him. He is professional very personable & friendly. We were not pushed into buying the vehicle on that day. He got us a wonderful deal. They did not have the car in the lot due to shortage of cars. We received our car in August. Nate kept us updated in process and status of our car order. It was truly a great experience. The staff are all very friendly too. Shanon Fuller in the financial dept made the financial experience super easy. We got all the packages we wanted in the vehicle. We are happy customers.

Went there for replacing an oxygen sensor, nothing major. That part went fine, but they told me I needed to replace all brake pads and rotors. They left me a message, and I have it saved.I of course declined, and checked the car out myself. 3 of the sets of pads are close to new condition (see attached image), and 1 is a bit worn, but will probably last another year or two. And none of the rotors need replacement. So they wanted to pick my pockets for a $1000, thinking I wouldnt know any better. The only thing the car needed was a thorough cleaning of the brakes, but no parts.Absolutely avoid them. I only went because the reviews looked good, but just found out that Apple is known to do this, and people normally drive to another dealership. In hindsight, that makes me wonder if the reviews are fake. Given their size, Apple probably employs someone who monitors social networks, and will try to remove this review.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Apple Subaru. My experience was smooth and stress free. Brittney and Sharon made me feel comfortable and were willing to answer any questions I had about the car buying process. I am very happy with my purchase of a used 2015 Subaru Legacy. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in need of a new or used vehicle.
After having my car repaired & having my bushings replaced, tire rotation, alignment, etc. (they recommended this so I am not even sure if it did need replacing) I have been having so many problems.I moved from across the US & drove this car when I moved over 1700 miles and I have had NO issues with it before taking it to this dealership. Also it only has 60k miles on it. Keep in mind I visited other Subaru dealerships in the another state & never had any issues.After having the repairs done ON MY FIRST VISIT EVER TO THIS PLACE my brakes failed two days after & I rear-ended another vehicle. After this I had it towed back to the same dealership against my better judgment because I would have taken it somewhere else after paying $1.2k to get my car fixed just for the brakes to mysteriously fail 2 days after getting this replaced & having NO prior problems.This dealership is so unhelpful & it took me 2 & 1/2 weeks to get my car back from collusion for a minor grill and front bumper replacement & them also checking my brakes (which they assured me were fine but okay sure). Out of pocket costs were $1950. Thank god I had a deductible.Today really drove me over the edge because my car is now refusing to turn on to even start & I got it back about a week ago.Never returning.
Bought a car from here and it was a great experience. Would definitely buy another Subaru from this location. Had same car serviced here a couple of times and definitely WILL NOT return for service or maintenance.

I brought my car here on the way home to Virginia from Maine because my transmission was having problems (faulty solenoid). My car was under extended warranty, but because they did not have a rental cars, they were unwilling to cover my rental. I got my own rental car and drove home (3 hours).On the way home (about 1 hour out), I received a call stating that the car problem was identified and the technician was beginning to work on it. I was told that it would be ready the following day, and if not, another technician would begin to work on it.The following day, I called at noon to make sure my car was ready when I got there because the drive was 3 hours, and the woman on the phone said it was be ready between 3 and 4.When I arrived on site after returning my rental, the woman told me that my car was actually not ready because the technician was not in and refused to have other technicians work on my car because of staffing issues. She was unapologetic.After I complained, Subaru Apple offered to cover my new rental car at a nearby enterprise because they still did not have any cars available (a suggestion I had already made the day before), but they were unwilling to reimburse me for my previous rental day that I paid out-of-pocket for because they didnt have any rentals available. They were only willing to reimburse my deposit on my new rental.I am very disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism with the woman I dealt with. How can someone not know their technicians are out after being asked when the car would be ready? She was completely unapologetic too. I drove 3 hours to get my car and then its not even ready. No sympathy at all.When I finally got my car back, my only compensation for my two days of driving back and forth from Virginia was a courtesy car wash only redeemable at their location, and I wasnt even able to use it because I had my storage box on top of my car.I love my Subaru and was hoping for a better experience at this location because it has such good reviews, but I guess not. I am very disappointed.

I would give Sean F. and Apple Subaru 100 stars if I could! Not knowing anyone at the dealership and not getting a great response from another local Subaru dealership, I called one day with a few questions regarding a new vehicle for the AAA Driving School. Two weeks later the vehicle was purchased, Sean managed all the modifications that were needed, he delivered the vehicle to us, and took the time to present it to the instructors and answer all their questions! Customer Service here is obviously of upmost importance and it’s mind blowing in a world where good service is hard to come by!

I live in York but I will happily drive elsewhere to a Subaru dealer. Have never had a positive experience here but the most recent encounter was the salesman trying to tell me I had to make a 30 minute decision if I wanted the car or not. Very pushy and almost hostile. I mentioned I had appointments lined up at other dealerships and he really got upset over that. I knew what I wanted and just wanted to shop around. Whats wrong with that?? Found the perfect car for me at another dealer. Will tell my friends and family not to come here.
My first time buying a car and I wasn’t wrong to come to Apple Subaru! I was told by half a dozen friends to go to Apple dealerships and they weren’t wrong. Sean wasn’t pushy or dismissive like some cars salesmen can be to women, or people in general. The first time I came in he listened to exactly what I wanted, helped me look around, and found me two great choices to pick from. He made sure I was confident in my choice by offering other options and making sure I knew the pros and cons of each car so I knew what I was getting into.My favorite thing about Apple Subaru is their transparency. They have the Carfax for every car and if you’re lucky enough like me you’ll find a certified pre-owned that was even serviced there so I could see all the records of what work was done on the car. I am SO HAPPY with my new car! I highly recommend going there!

I drove over an hour specifically to see a used outback and was prepared to purchase. I found out when I opened the door that it had been heavily smoked in. This was not disclosed, either on the website or during other communications. Immediately afterwards they attempted to get me interested in a more expensive vehicle. A simple apology would have helped a lot but none was offered. This arrogance and disregard for their customers is extremely disappointing. Car dealers may have the upper hand at the moment because of the short supply of vehicles, but I will not forget this treatment and will never attempt to do business with an Apple car store again.
I bought a 2019 Subaru Outback a few years ago and Duane Casseday at Apple Subaru in York PA was so nice and knowledgeable that when I recently wanted to trade my 2019 Subaru in for a 2021, I emailed him to help me with the process. He is so nice to work with and next time I trade my car in, I will request him again. Working with Duane and Apple Subaru has been very pleasant experience.

Brought my vehicle in for basic service and the shop was clean and staff extremely helpful and friendly. I only have 2 nitpicks. Im super picky about my car and I keep the interior really clean. First, someone dragged their shoes across the door sill and scratched my alloy inserts. Second, its a manual and the seats werent put back to my driving position when the car was delivered from service. Yeah...its a little nit-picky, but its the little things that make biggest differences. Other than that, great service and experience.

Once I figured out which car I wanted to test drive, I contacted Julia and set up an appointment. She was on top of everything from start to finish, and the whole process went quickly and smoothly. I am very happy with my purchase and with the level of service I got from the staff.
I had Julia as a sales person and Sharon for she was very sweet. They worked with me on the special things I wanted. They gave me a loaner for 2 days while installing my CD player and hitch and the coating to protect the car inside and out. Over all everything went very well 🥰
Whether it’s my 12-year old, beat up Outback or my brand new one, Apple has been a top notch place for service, maintenance, repairs, sales, with a pet-friendly, comfortable waiting area where I can watch TV or get work done using their high speed internet. These people are fantastic. I take our other car (not a Subaru) to its respective dealership for service and they just don’t compare to the attention to detail I get from Apple Subaru.

Service at this Subaru dealership is absolutely awesome. Drive your vehicle into their building, check in with the service department office, and they give you a very reasonable estimate of how long the service will take and what the cost will be. Upon completion, they also include a car wash voucher for the Apple Car Wash which by the way is the bestest drive thru car wash in the York area, and also includes free use of the vacuums. My only suggestion is that they should provide free wifi in the customer waiting area. I saw folks come in with their laptops but they couldnt use them to help pass the time due to lack of wifi.

My visit was due to the ECM recall. They were fast but later warnings and other indicators began to appear on my dash display that had never appeared before. I returned and they checked it out and assured what I was seeing on my dash was normal. Warnings and indicators still keep popping up and I am NOT SATISFIED that my Ascent is functioning properly. I am considering scheduling a performance check with Subaru of Lancaster.
Check PSI before leaving!!Had oil change, inspection and tire rotation done. Tires were inflated to 45 and 43 psi for an Outback, 10 over what they should be. Brought it in at 35 and 33 psi. I would like my tires to last...not wear out quicker. Called in and of course was told tire guage might be off and to bring it in to be fixed. Decided to fix it myself because I dont feel comfortable with their service department, considering past experiences. Bought car from Faulkner and used their service department many times and highly recommend them. Sales and customer service at Apple does not compare to Faulkner!Now, cue the copy and paste response....
Not bad Selection, Don t feel the sales team was really there for us. Seem to push only one model of car and one option. Got better information from Bel Air Subaru, Still Looking for the perfect car.

The interactions that Ive had with the staff have been totally fine. However, they really should have more used vehicles. I will say that I felt like I might have known more than the person who was selling me the car. Overall, they should have a bigger lot of especially used vehicles, but maybe I feel that way as someone who doesnt buy new.

I have been a technician there for over 3 years and I have a lot of faith in them. The company is always trying to do the right thing for everyone. We have some follies beleive me, but we do hold ourselves accountable and try (more than try) to make it right. Upper management has made many improvements in the last 3 years. And every department is willing to create a good customer bond! Keep up the good work. Myself, My family, and my community are enjoying your hard work and frankly need it. We may never get wealthy in the automotive field but we keep modern life going.
The service rep did not let me know when my car was ready I’ve been waiting for more than a month for parts. I was not notified that the parts would be rude. Looking at other dealers for service. I was told car wash was closed. But there were cars in line being washed.
My alert for low window fluid turned on as I was driving out of the lot even though I asked if it was filled prior to paying the bill. (The light was going on prior to bringing the car in for service). I was told yes. How many other fluids werent filled?! Also no car wash was offered and no coupon issued for car wash in the future if they werent able to do it at time of service. Also I was given the wrong key at the end and wasnt able to get my car started until I went back in to find out why my car wouldnt start. I feel service needs to be improved at Apple Subaru.

I usually like to do my own car repair and maintenance, but sometimes life is just too hectic to do it myself. Ive taken my car in for service here a few times now, everything from warranty work to a quick oil change. Their techs know their stuff, and the service advisors are helpful and straightforward.The waiting room is comfortable and not crowded, and the service team has always been very accurate with their estimated time to repair. Ill pay a little more to know its done right, and on time here.

Had VERY bad experience buying and having car serviced. Would not recommend buying a used vehicle from this dealership. They did not do a multi point inspection on my vehicle, and when I returned it they had it for over 3 weeks. However the service manager and salesperson were very helpful.

Glass cracked on my new Subaru Crosstrek, I don’t drive highways and there was “evidence of an impact” I’ve been reading and there are plenty of problems online with the glass cracking easily. This crack was significant and abnormally large for a small stone. The vehicle is still in warranty and they said it was not covered.

I love my new Suburu Ascent Limited. Lots of room and safety features good for this senior lady. I feel really safe driving it particularly with the L mirror notice of an approaching car. Loving it all.....now to read the manual! Shhhh...Ill do it this weekend. Big gas tank and so great to travel without the range anxiety I had with an electric car. I am ordering running boards as I could use a boost getting in.Beautiful car that even the young guys at the drive through comment on.
My wife and I purchased a used car on Jan. 3, 2018. While checking my credit score, I found there where 10 hard inquiries pulling my score down. I got copies of my credit reports and 8 of the ten where done that night of Jan.3. They are so hell-bent on selling cars that they cant concern themselves with your financial welfare. They throw out this wide net to make sure they get a bank to bite. My score dropped about 40 points. The paper work to get these removed is too much for the average person to deal with. This is an underhanded and, in my opinion, unethical way to treat people. They back stab you while smiling in your face, remember that song? Only good thing is the car has been trouble free.
I made the decision to buy a new car in under 24 hours, and while I know youre not supposed to do that, I got really lucky in working with Spencer. He was personable as we talked about my options throughout the day, answered any and all questions I had, had the car warmed up and ready to go when I arrived to test it out, and made the whole process very simple. I appreciate that he followed up with me afterward to make sure everything was still satisfactory. Absolutely wonderful service, I would absolutely work with him again.
Spencer and Apple Subaru made this the best and smoothest car buying experience we’ve ever had. I started by using their website to request a quote. I knew what vehicle I wanted and had already secured financing through my bank. Apple was quick to respond and Spencer immediately started answering questions. He DID NOT come across as pressuring or pushy, he simply answered my questions. I had some particular requests which required Spencer to go above and beyond what I believe to be normal. At no time did I ever feel Spencer was anything but happy to accommodate my requests. He worked very hard to earn our business and we have nothing but good things to say. He had everything completed with paperwork and vehicle prep so that we spent a total of about 25 actual minutes in the dealership. The finance manager, Casey, was equally fantastic. She was very pleasant and gave us the information we needed to make an informed decision. She never pushed any product or service on us, and she was quick and efficient throughout the whole process. We received a fair price on our WRX and the entire process could not have gone any smoother. Apple Subaru earned a lifetime customer with this transaction.
