Pete and his team are great! They communicate very well and explain their intent on what service needs done. They perform the work in a timely manner and I feel with great care. My Suburban drives like new thanks to their great service. I will be back. They’re awesome to do business with.

As a woman, I always felt uncomfortable taking my car for repairs until I found CARS. The owners, Mark and Susan are the best. You can trust that if they tell you something needs fixing it does. Never got that “ripped off” feeling from their business. Their prices are right and they, and their crew, are always professional and get your vehicle back on a timely basis. I’m glad their business survived the pandemic, I don’t want to ever take my car anywhere else.

Came here for my inspections and to see if anything was wrong with my brakes (Ford Fusion = awful brakes). Mark and Pete were super honest and lovely to talk to about any problems and advice. When I went to get my car, Mark even came out with my cracked coil spring to show me and took the time to talk repairs through. They were the only ones to actually show me a broken part and talk me through car repairs - super impressed. They respect their customers and care about them!

Complete Auto provides what rarely exists anymore...an HONEST place to take your vehicle that provides THOROUGH, EXCELLENT SERVICE! I recently had timing issues with my 2011 BMW. After researching & looking over my car, they found that BMW issues an extended warranty to my car which would save me over $1000. They sacrificed taking my money & referred me to a dealership to help save me money! Wow! You dont get that everyday! Even after the dealership charged me for diagnostics but couldnt guarantee me anything while wanting to charge me thousands of dollars...Pete referred me to seek another dealership which was in Manheim that took care of my car. Mark, Pete and Susan and their crew do GREAT things the right way! I have gone to them first before and I will continue to go to them first again!

After my visit, I wont go anywhere else. I called around 8 different shops to fix an issue with my hyundai sonata hybrid electrical system. No one would touch it and they all told me to call the dealership. Dealership quoted me at least $3000.I called here and they told me to drop it off and they would fix it, even though they were pretty much booked. The manager Pete kept me up to date on everything they were doing every step of the way.They were able to fix my electrical issue, change my brakes, and fix a broken sway bar (that was missed on previous inspections), for a 3rd of the price that the dealership quoted me just for the electrical. Top notch service and people!

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough!! They are wonderful, friendly, and honest people. Ive had nothing but issues with a new car I bought and theyve helped me navigate what to do every single time and have never tried to cheat me in any way. Theyre honest and keep you informed about your car, and they also explain things easily for those who are not car-savy like myself! Ive been going to them for years and will always recommend them!

I would give 6 stars if I could. I recently purchased a 2010 Mini Cooper clubman s which had a bad thermostat and coolant pipe and overheated. Mark and Pete sprung into action and ordered the right parts for it (I ordered the wrong parts, there’s different variations of the thermostat). Had it back together and running good in no time. I tried to do the job myself and broke a bolt that holds in the thermostat which is when I decided to take it to complete auto, where mark was kind enough to let me borrow his own tools to try and get it out myself and save the repair bill (I still couldn’t get it out unfortunately) Not many shops will do that. I felt extremely comfortable with my car in their hands and they did an excellent job servicing it. I HIGHLY recommend complete auto to anybody looking for knowledgeable, kind staff and quality work at the right price. To mark and Pete: thanks so much for helping me out. I will be back for future work along with anyone I know who needs it.

Mark (owner) treats his customers with kindness and respect. He also has the ability to diagnose and fix problems the right way! He’s kept all of our family vehicles in great shape for 10+ years! He’s also got some great guys working there as well! CARS is the best automotive shop in York!

Mark is a very competent and honest mechanic. Traits difficult to validate in this day and age. Mark is capable of diagnosing and repairing on old and new vehicles. Ive had Mark work on many of my vehicles and recommend CARS to people looking to start a relationship with someone who cares about you and your vehicles safety. Too bad he moved from Queen Street, it was very convenient for my family, but service is very good and pricing is fair. You get what you pay for.

Complete Automotive Repair & Service took care of my 2002 WRX, replacing a rusted out fuel tank and fuel system components. Mark and Pete took the effort to perform exactly what I asked, and did an excellent job- above and beyond! I am very grateful to have this shop nearby. A+

We were visiting from out of town, and on Christmas Day our suspension developed a horrifying clunk. I dropped my car off the next morning here and they had it fixed by the afternoon! Very fair prices and helpful, nice people. Highly recommend.

Took my cars here for years before I moved out of state too. Can be a little pricey side, but youll never get ripped off. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and will happily talk your ear off about your vehicle if you let him. He does quality work and you can tell hes genuinely passionate about it.

We bring all of our cars there.@Dani - sorry to let you down but just about every shop you go to is going to turn you away with a flat that needs immediate attention. Ive had this experience with many shops quite a few times and they all want to schedule a flat repair.

If you need a vehicle inspection do not come here!!! They are not intrested in doing Inspections.. I called asking about any openings for next week. I wanted to drop my vehicle off at 12 or 1230 and just wait for my vehicle to get inspected I didnt know this was a big deal. Unfortunately i have noone to pick me up and bring me back and I cannot leave my vehicle with them all day! They expect you to either drop your vehicle off the night before or early morning and leave it there all day! So if you work full time and think you can drop it off after noon sometime and wait for your vehicle to be done think again. I believe I spoke with a Pete during our conversation he was rude and made it seem as tho I was inconveniencing him I was friendly I tried to work with him asking if I could bring it in around 300 pm it does say there open till 530 pm but who knows Ill just take my vehicle some place else but figured Id leave this nice review

They failed my car saying it needed new brake pads, rotors, and calipers for over $1000. I picked up the car and had a friend do the work- he said it only needed new pads. There was nothing wrong with the rotors and calipers. So I decided to take it somewhere else for the re-inspection and it passed with no issues. Seems like CARS tried to scam me with parts and labor my car didnt need.

Always a good experience at CARS. Always very honest about the necessity of work and I have never experienced any upsale pressures. All the work I have had done here was done quickly and done right.

Honestly the best place I have ever delt with. Highly recommend them.
