What a great company! They have been a pleasure to work with and have delivered, not only in quality of product, but also in support after the sale. The affordability of their product allowed us to get enough sensors for our 14 operatory practice so that we no longer have employees standing around waiting on an available sensor. This has saved immense amounts of down time and Im confident it has more than paid for the investment we made in our sensors.

They are able to work repair damaged sensors that would otherwise be very costly. I am the owner of 3 dental offices, and we have 12 active Gendex 700 sensors. Over 5 years, weve had 4 or so break on us, and weve sent them to Sodium. Theyve fixed 2 of them and we were pleased with the repairs. I had been recommending them to other dentists that were fed up with poor warranties by Gendex, etc. In 2017, we bought a refurbished sensor, and things started to fall apart. Within 6 months, the cable disconnected from the sensor where the sensor had been previously repaired (see the plastic patches in the photo). When we sent it to them, they claimed that this wasnt under warranty, and they said it would cost $1,700. I discussed with Nate extensively that the sensor had been previously repaired at the same spot by them, and they dug in more. Sodium holds the position that our team put more than 70lbs of force on the sensor to tear the wire (they say that the wires are tested to 70lbs), and that they werent going to stand by their product. In the end Nate doubled down and said that our office had a history of breaking sensor cables. After our unpleasant discussion, Nate tried to transfer me to a supervisor at my request, but the call went to a voicemail. The call was followed up with an email by supervisor Josh saying it would take tremendous pulling force to rip the metal braid. I dont disagree that it would take tremendous force, I do however know that my team wouldnt hang 70 lbs from a $10k sensor, and I find it very odd that the refurbed sensor, had previously been repaired at the exact junction. Its one thing to say its not covered, its another to blame the customer. We will not be using Sodium any further, and I will not be recommending them to colleagues.
This is an awesome company to partner with. Theyve helped us with numerous things. Used sensors are an amazing alternative to new especially if youre supplementing your existing sensors to have more on hand. Theyve done equipment installations and moves for us that have helped us utilize older equipment and keep them in play where the traditional dental suppliers wouldnt touch stuff. I also have to say that Im very excited for their new Aurora sensor that I think is going to disrupt the typical dental equipment conglomerates of the world and deliver much more for your money.
Have used this company 3 times now on our Gendex sensors. each sensor was over 5 years old and had deteriorating cables. Sodium dental was able to repair and return each sensor within a week at a fraction of the cost of a new sensor. Sodium is WAY cheaper than the Gendex warranty program we used to use and the repaired sensors have thicker cables and have not had any issues whatsoever. Customer service is responsive and friendly. Pricing is upfront and detailed. Extremely satisfied with this company and I recommend it to other Dental Managers every chance I get!
We always have outstanding service with Sodium Dental. We have now had two sensors repaired and they werent out of the office for long and never have had any complications. It is very nice to have a company that we can have available to do our repairs that we can trust. Thank you again!
The refurb sensors will not match the images they post on the website. No accountability. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Good luck trying to get a return call to remedy any problems you have... buyer beware.Update: Sodium has reached out to me. I was given a few options to remedy the situation. I do feel they were very fair. I was happy with the conclusion. I would use them again.
Great customer service and return time on repaired sensors. They have fixed several of our sensors and we have also purchased refurbished ones that work great!
Great place. Ive used them for years to fix Gendex sensors. Always great CST and fast and timely return of sensors. This is a very good option versus buying a new sensor or paying for very expensive extended warranties -- Id rather save that cost and send to Sodium whenever I need work.

My Dexis Platinum sensor developed a problem at the wire-sensor location. Sodium Dental promptly and professionally processed it, replaced the wire and returned it in perfect working order. Dexis wanted me to replace the sensor,claiming that they are unrepairable.Unfortunately for me, our second sensor (not the one repaired by Sodium Dental) failed one week later. I shipped that one back for the same repair.THANK YOU SODIUM DENTAL!
We have had MANY sensors repaired by Sodium!! They are a MUCH less expensive option than going through Kodak, etc They stand behind their warranty and I would highly recommend them to anyone with digital sensors!!

Repaired my broken Dexis sensor super fast. Couldnt be happier.
I sent my Kodak sensor with issues of sporadic functioning, a problem with the cord connection. I paid for the repair and the extra money for the warranty. When I received my sensor it then had an artifact, A spec (likely of dust ) on the processor from not being repaired in sterile dust-free environment. I can prove that it did not have such a defect prior to the repair via dated x-rays and this sensor came directly from the factory. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue I was told that an artifact can not be repaired and that I should return that sensor to be destroyed for a refund or buy a new sensor. So the guarantee of repair is bogus. They do not stand behind their work and introduce additional issues to the sensor. Buyer Beware !

Had a Schick sensor that started auto firing. Sodium Dental diagnosed the sensor unrepairable which is unfortunate, but it is what it is. Even though they could not fix the sensor, they were great to work worth. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction and offered some solutions for the problem I was having. I will certainly work with them again in the future.
