Nice store, shelves seemed a little sparse, but the selections were good, especially in rocks and herbs! Cant wait to go back.

It was a Wiccan Wonderland for me as soon as I stepped into this cute little store. They have a little bit of almost anything you could need for metaphysical enrichment. Love love love it! Instant customer for life!

I have been wanting to go to this shop for over a year or so now and finally got the chance to do so. The shop itself was perfect and had just about everything I was looking for and more for pretty decent prices. However, I was disappointed by how our visit to the shop ended. The lady and her granddaughter checking out in front of us were having a great conversation with the gentleman checking them out and how it was their first visit and this and that once he saw we were waiting to check out he moved them over to talk about the “gift” for first timers (I was like ohh that’s cool) and the owner came and checked us out. Never once asked if we had been there before or not just if we found what we were looking for and if I wanted the cards for the stones I got. Incredibly disappointed that we didn’t get the same treatment just because I wasn’t as bubbly and talkative, it should have still been asked and we should still have been offered the same first time customer “gift”. Then once I got home and reviewed my receipt he overcharged my by $9.00 for the one stone I got that was only marked as $10.00. It’s a shame to have had our visit end this way because I was looking forward to returning but now not so much.

This is my favorite destination when I need anything for energywork. The crystals, candles, and insense are always well stocked. staff is nice and helpful, but never overbearing which drives me away from other shops. I will always come here when I need a little pick up in my mood.

The posted hours online and on their door seem to be incorrect at all times. I’ve arrived several times up to an hour prior to closing and they are closed. Such a waste. Find somewhere that actually values your time.Edit: I was given a quick response to this review that I think was thoughtful and I appreciate that they took the time to respond.While I’ve been unable to enter during normal business hours without adverse weather events, I think it’s fair to say that the last two times there was indeed snow in the area. I’d recommend this store due to convenience..Other than that, I’d never come here for anything..The owner isn’t the most pleasant..Prices are a little high..But if you’re looking for something in a hurry, then this is the place to come to..Parking is nice since it’s in a shopping center.

Beautiful store, great energy and a good selection. Not so much if you are looking for Norse, Germanic or Celtic deities. Lots of crystals and chakra themed things. A good selection of books and decks too. A nice find in York. The staff offered help, but wasnt hovering, you have plenty of space to move about and look.

Great selection of stones

I have visited this store many times. They have a decent selection of crystals, which is what I mostly go for. They also have a large selection of books, candles, and other metaphysical supplies. I do however feel that their customer service is lacking, much like other reviewers have stated. Their crystals are also, in my opinion, VERY pricey compared to many other stores I’ve been to. I understand that care and quality all factor into the price of the pieces, but I believe they are still too high. All in all, this store is in a great location, and works for needing something on the spot, not necessarily the best option for crystal shopping in the area.

Large variety of spiritual books, stones, journals, tarot cards, herbs etc used for cleansing and more. Reiki share is fourth Sunday of each month at 6pm. This is a store I love to spend money at because it is so worth keeping alive. A true gem in York City.

I could have spent so much money at this place. They have everything you may need for your witchcraft practice.

I love new visions, the staff and their items very much and i visit very often, but when me and my family visit, sometimes we do not feel welcomed by the staff and we were told that certain events and things were meant for “regulars only”. I am not saying this to bring down new visions or the staff, i just want them to be aware that they should accept everyone, regulars or not, even though i visit often.

I ran in here to use the bathroom and the employee kindly told me where it was even though it was obvious I didn’t have an intention of shopping. However, I chose to stick around and was really impressed by their vast selection of self improvement books and the warm atmosphere. And another plus: the book I chose to take home smells like incense every time I open it!

Ive been going to this store for years, through at least four locations across York. I love these guys and really enjoy the store. Its the only metaphysical store in the area I am aware of, and they have everything youd want from that type of store, crystals, incense, figures, books, and so on.

That place with all the lovely things for your soul

This place has lots of merch to check out from books, candles, incense, and decorations -- not to mention a pretty large selection of crystals. However, I found the customer service to be pretty uninviting. When I entered the store I nodded and greeted the man behind the counter who looked away -- I thought maybe I had mistaken a customer for someone who worked there but later saw him behind the counter again. Then a woman behind the counter scowled at myself and my partner as we walked further into the shop. There was definitely a very palpable feeling that we werent welcome. It was definitely a totally different feel than Ive experienced from other metaphysical shops in the area and was super disappointing. We felt so unwelcome that I didnt even end up purchasing anything to make our drive from Harrisburg worthwhile. I also felt their crystals were overpriced compared with other shops in the area.

Im from upstate NY but was in town for a couple of hours and visited New Visions. York, I hope you appreciate the real treasure you have in this store and the staff! The selection of tumbled crystals and stones is the best Ive seen, far better than shops in Woodstock, NY and Provincetown, MA, and much more reasonable. Bob Hall was helpful and knowledgeable, greeting me warmly when I walked in, answering my many questions, yet providing me space and quiet to spend time finding the right crystals to work with. New Visions also had an impressive number of high quality tarot and oracle decks, including the lovely Lo Scarabeo cards. Its evident theres a lot of thought given to the choice of merchandise in the store, and so many varied spiritual practices are represented here. While four hours is a long way to drive, Id come here monthly if it was two hours away -- well worth the trip. I didnt have time to look over the books, incense, statuary, and all the other metaphysical products they carry, and wish I could have spent the afternoon there. This is the kind of place you dont find in most smaller cities, and its a true gem. Dont pass this one by!

The store is usually beautifully arranged and stocked with what is probably the best overall selection of new age paraphernalia in the region. There are high quality books about every topic from astrology to angels to tarot to earth magic, candles, card decks of all kinds, clothing, crystals, drums, incense, jewelry, statuary and figurines, and so on. They have an experienced staff that have been together for years at, I believe, three different locations, provide an array of services, and serve as a kind of hub for classes, gatherings, and activities among new age practioners and laypersons in the small city hinterlands of Baltimore and Philadelphia. Definitely not a storefront psychic con artist type place, in other words. People almost always give them unequivocally fabulous reviews, and thats what seems to be appreciated and perhaps expected. Despite the slightly exclusionary new age spiritual vibe - or are they just very proud of their business? - that might cause some to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable on occasion, in my opinion, New Visions is an excellent resource for both products and programs that push people to grow in positive ways and may encourage them to develop regional networks of friends and collegues among similarly directed individuals.
