I enjoy this school, not some of the students. I had no problem learning and getting a great job before I even graduated. I did horrible in high school but great in this school. I am so much better at hands on and mechanics than paperwork. You do have paperwork, but a lot of it is easy with common sense. If you pay attention, do your homework, dont get involved in the childish games with some of the children who go to this school, you will excel.
This school is a joke! If your interested in learning motorcycles, this is NOT the place to go.. The school is ran by a walking meatball, whos as sneaky as he is round.. believe NOTHING he says... The whole operation is a hustle, sure when you go in they got ducatis in the lobby, but you wont get the opportunity to work on any.. or touch any personal watercraft (again its there... but its just for looks). This place cares more about making itself look good then educating its students..In short.. save $20,000+ and buy a service manual.
I think that the program is a great idea, if it only had a stable staff that did not show favoritism and pick which students had to obey the rules. this type of favoritism you only see in high school, it was upsetting and unprofessional. so in short if you want to have teachers laugh in your face and disrespect you even though your a veteran, then bye all means take the 9 month program.
The MTC gave me skills and training that has helped me get a better job. Im making more now than Ive made in years.
I was enrolled in this school in 2013. It was the best learning experience I ever had! I never liked high school, but at YTI I looked forward to going back every day! I learned and incredible amount about motorcycles, jet skis, ATVs, generators... you name it. The thing I liked most about this education is that they not only teach you about motorsports, they also teach you how to write a resume and go for interviews! They are very thorough, very hands on, and the class sizes are small enough that the instructor has a chance to work with each student individually. Every day was a blast and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into this field!
Love it
