Love ULTA! I always have a great experience every time I shop there.

Let me first start off by saying as soon as you walk into the store their is an employee right at the beginning to help you find your way around the store. The salon is amazing their are a lot of friendly salon people the lady I go to Cindy she always does my hair amazing and we also have amazing conversations while she dyes my hair. The first time I went to her she explained the pros and cons of dying my hair black from the color I had which I really appreciated. Will keep going back for the salon I love her work.

Very high priced for the same thing you can buy even cheaper in a salon. Which is not normal.

I stopped in for a particular brand which is carried by this store. The website said it was in stock. I found the items pretty easily. Unfortunately the checkout process is where I hit a snag. The cashier was able to fix the issue and I was on my way.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love the girls who work here. I am a regular customer, and anytime I’m having a bad day and need a pick me up they got me every time. When I need help they are always right there to help and assist me and answer any questions that I may have about anything. The workers create this fun and exciting atmosphere and I’m completely obsessed. ❤️

When I got home I discovered two of the three items I purchased there today were open all ready. You always hear stories about Ulta selling open or returned merchandise but I never believed them. Disappointed---Update they exchanged my products and I had a nice talk with the manager who was very professional and courteous. This has even happened to her so be careful!

Incredibly disappointed in the salon service at Ulta in Boardman! I had my first appointment with Josh and rescheduled for a few weeks later. I had to be rescheduled with another stylist for some reason and was called the night before my appointment for her to tell me that it was her last day and she would not be there for my appointment the next morning! I asked if I could schedule with someone else and she said no! Wow! Whatever the reason, you should honor the appointment or at least make an attempt to reschedule or give a recommendation! unfortunately, I had to give one star in order to be able to write a review! Honestly 0 stars in my opinion!

Terrible experience for us it was my wife’s birthday and we went to get assistance in finding her foundation shade they act like they didn’t understand or wanted to help but then when they did they couldn’t find her match and she’s a fair yellow complexion smh they didn’t even have the shade they were looking for out on display so embarrassing also when I asked for inexpensive cosmetics they said it was on the other side of the store and had no knowledge in that department so we were stuck trying to find my wife’s foundation shade and a good concealer it was pointless even going into the store at this point 🤷🏽‍♀️Never will I go back I’ll stick to Sephora

Truly enjoyed my experience. I was having trouble finding the right foundation shade and formula for my skin. The staff was very helpful and I left with a foundation that works great for me!! She took her time and answered all of my questions. A+ establishment!!

I work midnight shift in an ER, so I rarely wear more makeup than a tinted moisturizer & mascara. But I am 41, supposedly a grown woman & I cant buy foundation. Thankfully, the young ladies here, not only will help you pick the right one for your skin type, but theyll also color match you for your perfect shade! I was looking at the Urban Decay ($40) and when I told her my skin type & coverage needs, she said the Clinique would actually be better for my drier skin ($32). I left happy & confident that I wont look like Im wearing a mask when I sit down to do my makeup😊

I hate going to this location. The staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and uneducated about what products they even carry. I asked an associate where I could find a certain item and she just said, I dont know, and walked away. I asked another employee if they could check their stock room for a product and I was told that they dont do that. The cashiers hold their own conversations at check out and ignore the customer. Testers are always disgusting. The shelves are always messy and disorganized here. I am forced to go here if I run out of something. Otherwise, I order on line. Id rather wait for the product to come in the mail than step foot in this location.

No one greeted me when I got to the salon area. My appointment was at 1 and I didnt get back into a chair until 1:20 pm. I told the artist doing my make-up that I HAD to be out by 2 pm. After telling me yes no problem, I didnt check out until 2:48 pm. And to top it off, she didnt do what I asked her to do because she didnt like it...didnt know that when I give a store $70 they decide what I get in return. I will never use their salon services again.

(Boardman, Ohio location only) This place has plummeted downhill when it comes to customer service/attention and cleanliness/organization. There are maybe 3 employees Ive encountered over the last year that are more concerned with customers than their social conversations with other employees or just standing around. Sephora gained another customer simply based off their customer service today. Their store might be smaller here, but its clean and organized and the girls working there (and Im sure guys but I did not see one today) are knowledgeable and polite. I dont mind paying a little more if I have to, to receive good customer service and have my questions answered. I have never gone out of my way to write a negative review before, if that says anything about my experience the last few visits.

Clean organized and has everything you need. My only comment is I wish they kept up with the testers on the lower level like they do on The prestige side. I shop both and often the testers on the other side are missing or not even offered.

No one cared to ask me if I needed any help after walking around for half an hour. I finally asked someone for help she seemed annoyed I even bothered to ask her for help. Then once she left I heard her and another employee making fun of me so I put the make up down and left. I went to ulta to get make up and feel pretty the women made me feel horrible about myself. They treat you way better at the mall.

They did not have what we needed but they referred us next door to Sally Beauty Supply how cool was that

Love getting my hair done here. Love how Marilyn colors and cuts my hair. Will keep going back to her. Also can buy shampoo and conditioner for my color hair too!Made up,hair salon, beauty treatments. You name they have it,a little pricey but,worth it.

If your a make up addict like myself your going to love it here everything you need and want! Customer service is amazing! And oh yes theyre point system is way better than Sephora.

This is a great Ulta but they dont have the same stock as the one in Niles.

I greatly appreciate this store. As a former employee of the Niles store, I can see a massive difference in how the employees of the boardman store treat their customers with respect. Helpful but not over bearing; I do not get followed around. Youre not pestered with are you finding everything ok/is there anything I can help you with. 20x times. Youre asked once and given your space.

Ive went here a few times for brow waxing and have either walked in or made an appointment. Today I went into grab a few things and see if they had an opening to do one. No one is at the benefit bar so I went looking for an employee I found one and without even looking at me or anything just said Do you need help? I told her that I was wanting to see if the brow bar had any openings and if I could get mine done. Still hasnt looked up at me at this point, says someone didnt show up at 11 and walks over to look at the appointment book. She tells me there isnt an opening until 12:40 but next time I need to call and make an one. I just smiled said thanks and walked out. Firstly, she has a major attitude problem and acted like I was inconveniencing her about a service, which I didnt appreciate. Secondly, you dont tell customers that someone didnt show up. Sadly, this isnt the first time Ive been in here and the employees have been rude to either me or someone close by where people could hear. Ill be taking my money to Sephora for my beauty needs and finding a new place for waxing services.

Very unhappy. I had 2,000 points ($125) and I asked the girl ringing me out of i had to use all my points at once or if I could simply just use a portion. She said said I was able to just use a portion. So I ring out and she tells me i have no redeemable points after that.... so I just wasted $40 in points without her saying a word to hey why dont you go pick a another item or two. Terrible customer service. Will never shop at that store again.

Asked for a cute pixie cut had a few pictures, the woman cutting my hair had a cute pixie cut herself. So I assumed she knew that I didnt want a Buzz cut.She gave me a buzz cut.I dont even have enough hair to style.I literally have a mans buzz cut.She just kept saying over and over again. Super cute. Super cute, while chewing her gum.Worst service I have ever had. EVER.

I love Ulta. The emailed coupons are amazing! Customer service isnt the best but honestly with all deals I get from shopping here its not a deterrent to stop me from shopping! Sephora is way more expensive and really arent much better customer service wise, so at least you can get a deal on Great make up products between the in store markdowns emailed coupons and the points accumulate faster here than Sephora too. #TeamUlta. I gotta coupon now! Lol

At first I wasnt assisted, they seemed a tad short handed. I was kinda lost (not a makeup guru) lol but I found someone and she was so knowledgeable. I was thankful to have her help me out.

Unfriendly floor staff. I walked around half hour looking for items with no one approaching to offer help. Another time I asked and was pointed the direction and was told to look as she didnt know if item carried. Never tried to help. I will stick to Sophoria..staff very helpful there..

They always seem to have what I need....but staff is generally rude at this location and never offers assistance unless asked......IF YOU CAN FIND THEM.... time permitting or availability, I would go to location in niles by Eastwood mall. Generally, they are nicer, knowledgable and more accommodating.

As a man who has never been to a beauty store, I walked into here more lost and confused than an Amish person at a Gwar concert. A store rep immediately saw my confusion and offered me assistance. I explained that I was there for a Christmas gift for my wife and all I knew was the name of the product I wanted but not the manufacturer. She immediatly knew what I was there for and helped me find the perfect gift.

Went in asking if a color treatment could be done to my hair. The woman at the salon thought she was so much better than me. I was treated like dirt. Cancelled the appointment and went to JCPENNEY. Ulta lost a 130 dollar hair style and a major platinum customer. Ill shop Sephora and Penneys salon ALL the time.

Second ulta Ive been to and they must all have the WORST customer service Ive ever seen. After wandering around the store for 30 min, still had not been asked if I needed help with anything (which I did) and all the employees were too involved in their gossip to approach. Wont ever go back in an ulta again.
