This place was AWESOME! I am from Mansfield, and am very familiar with the gun stores in our area. This place has a huge selection, fair prices, great service, and really knew their product! I was shocked to see the amount of product they had in stock when our area has such a shortage, and the customer camaraderie made the experience an enjoyable one. In fact, I had such a great experience I wanted to tell the world about it! Definitely would go back.

First off...the pictures posted couldnt be more off. Barely any handguns. The place is REALLY cramped. The cashier just moves to whatever aisle youre in and STARES at you The entire time. Very uncomfortable experience.

Made the mistake of buying a box of ammo here before checking prices anywhere else first. No exaggeration, the ammo prices at Miller are literally more than double compared to everywhere else around. It’s cheaper for me to buy a gun of a different caliber somewhere else than it is for me to stock up on .380 ammo from Miller. Shop here as a last resort!

Phenomenal selection and great customer service with great prices, best gun store in 100 miles

I’ve been looking for a Glock 26 for over a month found this place on one of my searches was a little out of the way but they had what I wanted. Called to make sure said it was in the store. Drove down the next day guy was super nice had exactly what he said bought it then talked and bs’d about everything going on with guns and things these days. Not sure why they get all this hate.. Will be going back for other purchases down the road. Thanks guys.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff

I purchased my first firearm from them just over a month ago. I was assured my firearm was new not used. Turns out its either used or its new but not in its original packaging. After personally contacting Glock Im 100% sure they got over on me. Lesson learned, I would never recommend, especially if youre not knowledgeable and looking for someplace trustworthy.

I have had positive experiences here in the past. Twenty years ago they had knowledgeable staff and a good selection. The prices were always a little high but they had a decent selection of firearms and ammo. The last time that I was there every thing that I inquired about was not for sale . I dont want to see Mr Millers personal gun collection I expect to be able to buy anything on the rack providing I have the $.

I purchased my handgun through the website. On the website I went to IN STORE HANDGUNS and made my purchase. The gun is not in store now they say it may be 60 to 90 days! I kinda want to cancel my order. Well see how the next week goes. Update: I tried to cancel my order and they wont let me. This place is a joke I order my firearm on the 5th still nothing. They have my money and wont give it back. Dont waste your time or your money. There plenty of other places. Ef me for trying to shop local.

Pros: The lady was very nice. Cons: However, I have never in my life seen a gun store as bad as this one. I spent 40 minutes there just to get a transfer, most places would have me out in 15 minutes. First, online it says they charge $35 for transfer fees, but I was charged $45. Her explanation was they need to update it. Second, there is stuff everywhere. So much so that I could barely walk around without bumping into everything. Third, there arent any price tags on anything in the store (except firearms), and it seems they just make up the prices as they go along. Fourth, EVERY GUN WAS MARKED UP $200-$600. I saw several $500 firearms with a $800-$1,000 price tags. A gun I know goes for around $1,000 was marked $1,600. They had Rock Island Armory 1911s that normally cost around $600 for nearly $1,000. You can get Heritage .22lr rough riders literally everywhere for around $100-$120, here they are $200-$220. I could go on and on. I wanted to ask them if they were crazy asking these prices, but decided Id rather just take my transfer and never come back. Please go somewhere else with your business. Anyone who knows anything about what a firearm should cost surely wouldnt purchase anything from this gun store. I wrote this review for people ignorant to what most firearms should cost. I will not be back for sure.

The good reviews for this place are from friends of the owners on facebook, same names.. These guys are a bunch of try hards... Great prices one guy said.. ya ok, good prices? Who the hell is gonna pay 900$ for a Taurus G2C? They go for 230$...How about instead of getting friends to make good reviews, try fixing all the issues with your store. I was looking to buy a gun, now i know to go to another place around me. Will spend my 2200$ some place else..

Went to buy some .223 and they wanted $16 for a box of 20. Found the same ammo online for $6. These people have no idea what they are doing. Go out to fin feather fur outfitters they have a better selection and much much better proces.

Lack of courtesy for some of the highest gun prices In town

Insanely high prices almost 200 dollar differences between other shops, the “gunsmith” will just break what you give him and say it’s your fault. Every gun is crammed on the shelves and rubbing against each other and covered in dust. And some of the guns have a not for sale sign on them.. why have them on display. And you know it’s bad when the owner post 5 star reviews... Kind staff but damn don’t shop here.

This was a good place but seems like lately you go in and they can care less. I went there with $2000.00 to buy a handgun but the man behind the desk looked at me dressed in my hippy clothes and figured I wasn’t worth his time to even stay they and take questions From? He went in back, I figured to use the bathroom? After 20 minutes I left and went and spent my money at Sandels instead.Sad cause these guys did care at one time about their shop. Now it seems they think they are too big to help the guy that walks into the store looking like he might not have money. Take your money and time elsewhere, where It’s appreciated. I’ll never sell them gold or silver again or buy their overpriced ammo!As I read the reviews here and think of the times I most likely got took selling them silver and gold,I remember when I did look at a gun I saw the barrel was pretty sloppy. I thought oh they test used guns and I’m sure everything is in tolerance & specifications. Well I asked the man, Has this gun was checked for the use it’s been through? ( I COULD LITERALLY STILL SMELL POWDER ON IT!) He told me we do not sell used guns??? Now, I’m reading where a guy sells them a gun and they turn around and sell it as new? How often is this happening up there? I know my firearms and that was a used gun and around 75 to 125 rounds were put through that chamber. I couldn’t see etching from where all the grooves were worn down to the point I could no longer see them. I think if we can do a background check on a person or car, why can’t we do the same of a gun to make sure what we are spending our money on is brand new? If they say it has a new barrel or trigger parts then all that new stuff should documented and old parts kept with the gun and a inspection table with light would be nice to check the barrel for wear. NO EVERYTHING THEY SELL IS NEW THOUGH RIGHT????

Extremely overpriced, even for a brick and mortar store. Some of the salesmen are friendly and helpful; some are rude, pushy, and dismissive. Transfer, gun, and ammo prices are just silly. There are so many reasonable places in this area i see no reason to shop here.

OK first of all they do have a lot of guns... Downside is they could care less about being helpful let alone polite.. Oh and did I mention their prices are high and the place is a major mess too??

Prices are insane as if they didnt get the memo the internet exist and theyre the only show in town. I saw a stock OEM Glock G19 for 700$. Insanity.They have young kids working the front that have no firearm knowledge at all. If you ask them about anything in depth, they proceed to stare at you like youre speaking another language and mumble things that arent really answers to what you asked, hoping you wont ask anything else.It was like going to Lowes and talking to an employee that has never driven a nail in their life.Ill buy online before going here again, which is a shame. This company needs humbled, renovated, squared away, purged of kids that are employees, and brought back to earth.

Be FAIR WARNED!!! DO NOT BUY anything from these people. They sold me a used bolt action rifle for my stepson. His very first gun and none of us relized at first that it did NOT HAVE a ejection clip on the bolt. When I took the gun back the very next day and showed them, they said, NO trouble well just order you one and call you when it comes in. Well I waited 2 weeks and NO CALL, so I showed up today to see if it came in, and indeed it did. They said they called yesturday, but caller ID says other wise. I said OK, its cool, I reached out to get it and they took it back and said they was CHARGING ME FOR IT! I was like NO, it was for a gun I bought from you that DID NOT WORK without it. They told me they would give me the money back for the rifle or I can pay for the clip. (In my mind you do not want to know what I was saying.) When they said this, I said it wouldnt make much sense if I wanted to buy a rifle for my stepson, why would I want to sell it back to you?I WILL NEVER give another penny to these people NOR should you. You can NOT test the guns before you buy them, YET they WILL NOT stand behind their sales. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!! Take your HARD EARNED cash where they will MAKE YOU HAPPY, instead of RIPPING YOU OFF!*ATTENTION* MILLER ROD & GUN, if would LIKE this post taken down from the worldwide web for EVERYONE to SEE, they MUST FIRST,1. Cons: its like the experience of shopping at Walmart but with firearms. Guns are all out of cases and allowed to touch metal to metal.Pros: has a good selection of fishing equipment if you care about that. Probably the only thing Id reccomend this store for would be fishing

Ive been shopping with Rod & Miller gun shop for a few years now, may not look the cleanest, but they know the business. They offer a great selection of handguns, rifles, weapon accessories, and much more including spealized orders within limitation of the weapons licenses.

Sold a USED p238 to friends of mine under the impression that it was new. When questioned about it they denied any knowledge of it being used and claimed it to be new. Do not buy from these people! They are over priced on everything. Only reason this pistol was bought from them was because it was a special edition p238 that no one in the area seemed to have. So much for trying to support a local business.

Do not buy from them, I wanted to be the by local help out privately owned businesses guy. BIG MISTAKE bought an M&P15T just a few days ago, they charged me $300 over what gander mountain charges for the same gun. I know its my fault for not shopping around but to me the money isnt the point. These guys are just fat f***ing scam artist. Ill say it again PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I dont understand some of these reviews. Last year I bought two new Walther Blued PPK/S from this store and they sold them to me for around $50.00 below MSRP even though they have been virtually impossible to find since they were used in the latest James Bond movies. And Mike could not have been more helpful.

Horrible experience. First words out of the guys mouth were preaching politics. Went in to buy a gun as a gift only to find out they raised the prices from the previous week because of all the paranoid government talk of taking all our guns away. Liars and thieves all the way. How they stay in business is amazing to me.

Bought a Taurus Pt145 from them only to find out that I paid almost $50 over MSRP! These guys are shysters. They dont quote prices over the phone yet their website has prices on the guns with the disclaimer, NOTICE: Due to sudden price fluctuations and availability of many firearms, call for current prices. WHAT??? Call for prices yet when I call you cant give me the current price. This, my friends, is the old bait and hook. You drive all the way out there and the well since I drove this far I might as well buy something thought hits you. I got quoted $450 for a USED..let me reiterate U.S.E.D. S&W Bodyguard .380. The gun has a MSRP of $419 directly from S&W. Every other shop quotes in the $380-420 range. Did John Wayne himself rise from the dead and break in this gun? Thats the only way Id pay over MSRP for a USED gun! These guys will NEVER get business from me again..

The only firearm I have ever purchased was from here. When I was pulled over with my firearm in my car, the serial number came back as stolen. To this day, one of the first things that comes up when you Google me is a receiving stolen property charge which I had to pay a lawyer to fight.Never setting foot in that place again.
