Went here yesterday with a friend and had a ball. My friend found a great jean jacket, and I purchased an Otis Redding vinyl. The owner and her mother were so incredibly nice and helpful. The music that was playing in the shop was great. I will be coming back just for the atmosphere alone. Wonderful shop, wonderful people!

I adore this store, love the items and the knowledge and friendliness of the owners!I highly recommend, and love that they are here in Ypsi.If I had a wish list, it would be to organize the records, at least by genre, or decade or anything! I would have spent a ton more if I could find it easier, though I get the digging through the bins vibe, and enjoy it, I just dont have the time I need for all that digging! Oh to be 15 again and be able to carve out 6 hours to dig through all the bins.... Since I get that same thrill going there as I did then, this is certainly not a complaint against them, just being an adult. The old school memorabilia is awesome also for extra vintage coolness.

A2vintage is an Ypsilanti treasure and “mama” Deb is our queen. Walking into A2 Vintage feels like coming home after a long vacation. This is easily the best record store I have ever been to. If you come to Ypsi without paying “Mama” Deb a visit, then you truly cannot say you’ve been here. This is truly what a record shop should be. No matter what music you like “Mama” Deb has something for you and the biggest heart to give.

I have always been wanting to come here and am so glad I did! Its small and quaint and has a ton of personality. Theres an excellent selection of records. The vinyl member club is amazing. The owner was so nice and helpful. Ive never had this experience anywhere else and will definitely come back again and again.

My daughter and I stopped in for the first time on 1st Friday! Were there for almost 2 hours. My daughter and the owner really connected; it made her day! Everyone was so friendly. We arrived as strangers and left as friends =) We will definitely be back!!!

One of the worst record store experiences Ive had. Their used records are way overpriced, and after purchasing one that was unplayable, they at first refused to exchange it for the $20 I paid for it; then offered me $5 for it. This was after they tried to clean it, and still heard how horrible it was on their own stereo. I got my record back before they could resell it again, and had the pleasure of breaking it in two so that it wouldnt be resold. Too bad, because they dont respect their customers.Avoid this place at all costs. As I was leaving the store, they were trying to let me select another record at the same price. No thanks! Go to Encore records in Ann Arbor for better records, prices, and customer service.

I like it. Lots of cool vintage pieces. Could not find a 3 inch tall wingtip collar, however. I love the record beset upon the wall displaying the graceful beauty of Hawaii.

One of my favorite stores to visit in downtown Ypsilanti. They always have the best selection of vintage clothing and records. I couldn’t imagine having a different stop for all my vintage music needs. They are the kindest people and always do everything they can to make each and every stop we make the best it can be. Highly satisfied and will always highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a great shopping experience!

These two ladies were absolutely amazing! Mom and Daughter duo. Extraordinary selection of records! I am still in shock that I found a pristine Dark Side of the Moon with the original posters and stickers for a great price. They have a great reward program that is gonna save me money on buying The Wall next week. If you havent already stop in! They have more than just records and they are great company.

I was in there for First Fridays, and I was initially drawn in by the BEST $1 vinyl bins out on the sidewalk. Such a welcoming place, and I was even shown how to properly clean a record — something Ive been neglecting 😬. Anyways, this place rocks and is definitely worth going to ypsi for, even if your not in the area.

Love this place and the people inside. Very welcoming and open place. Very homey and a great atmosphere for great vintage records and great people. If youre in the area this is a must visit for anyone of all ages.

This is a great “mom and pop” store run by a mom and daughter. I showed up 10 mins before closing with my 4 and 6 year old. Grandma was working and was nice enough to help dig for some of the records I was looking for. She also let my kids use the bathroom AND gave them some vintage coloring books. They have a GREAT selection of used records. The records are priced at a premium but they are picky about the condition and every one I bought is in great shape. Also, it’s not cheap renting or owning a store front so I don’t mind paying a little more sometimes. They have some other cool stuff and a big vintage t shirt collection.Really cool store and nice people. Stop in for sure.

Ive only been here once, but it was great! The owners mother was babysitting it when a friend and I popped by. It does have a lot of cool stuff, some of which that have been repurposed in unique ways. I look forward to going back back and taking a better look around!

My husband and I have purchased here recently and visited a handful of times before and will be back especially solely based on the friendly customer service we received. I feel i cant express enough as to how much we love going to a shop with friendly warm customer service and just be greeted with kindness goes a long way especially for us, if a shop has great things but lacks friendliness then we never buy. I would give the A2 Vintage shop more than 5 stars if I could :) we also like that they worked out good deals of course I would never low ball anyone especially a small business needing to care for their families too.
