Girl at the cutting counter wasnt the friendliest. But the young light hair girl was very nice. It was an ok experience. They had what we needed so I have them 4 stars.

Just in time for one of their busiest shopping seasons, Joanns staff are going unmasked (ALL of them were unmasked tonight). With the COVID Delta variant tearing its way around the country and we dont know who among us are vaccinated this is a garbage way to treat your customers. Guess well be getting our costume material elsewhere. See you on the other side of the pandemic, Joanns.

Went looking for some patterns for sewing. Approached one service person and when we asked about such patterns she kinda just blew us off with non specific answer.We did however, speak to another and she gave us an explanation that answered our question with some good advice.Also, I guess there was a service person who only dealt with the sewing machines. She was talking with another but we stood and waited positioning ourselves to be obvious we waiting to speak to her, but once she was done, she turned and walked away without even acknowledging us, and when we spoke to stop her she responded with a projection of and comment that she only did the sewing machines and didnt offer to find assistance as there were very few service reps on the floor. Not a good first impression for shopping there.People at the registers were friendly, helpful, and engaging. Will go back because of product, but well look around at other stores even if we have to travel.Maybe it was because of being 2 men in the sewing section, but both can sew, and one sews very well and received a new sewing machine for Christmas.As I said....not a good impression of service, and probably not a true impression of store service, but the impression is the one Ill always remember. Never the less. I enjoyed looking at all the stuff and gadgets (Im the one that sews something for emergency repairs only..😁

Im new to sewing and thought I was going in for a few simple things. The young woman who helped me out was so kind and helpful and talked me through what would be best for my project. It was very nice to have someone so patient and knowledgeable to help me!

I loved Joann Fabrics they had the headliner I needed for the Cutlass Im fixing up. It was cheap good quality and was 60 percent off.

Easy to navigate the store. If you cant find something, its easy to find an employee to help you.

I would give it 5 stars because of the ample amount of fabric that you can choose from; HOWEVER, there was no one to help me and my kid! There was so much fabric that fell on me (ton of bricks), and no one even cared to help me out with an ice pack or anything!! So I called my lawyer after the fact of people not caring if I was alright.... Im not a lawyer caller, but I dont know if I was alright or not. Its one thing to be short handed but eventually everyone gets helped; its a complete other thing to have a hurt customer and NO-ONE gives a hoot!! I Hope this helps people out. Be careful with getting hurt in the store because no one will help you At ALL!!! I Hope they get it with my lawyer takes them in! Please Be careful at this store!!!!!

Love joann, I spent most of my money here every month honestly, usually have a really good experience. But today, the cashier seems really rude and unhelpful. She honestly seems to be really unhappy to help me.

July 17, 2020 10:57am Reg 1. Today I purchased seven masks from this store and have made multiple purchases online in the past. I had a pure leaf tea in my hand that I drunk from and purchased from Kroger and set it on the floor to avoid surface contact onto cashier station. The cashier comes from the back of her station (getting less than six feet near me) yet I’m trying to protect her by placing it on the floor. Then she questions me if I wanted to buy the tea. I told her I bought it from Kroger plus it’s opened and never realized JoAnn sold beverages. I’m assuming it’s in Jo Ann Fabrics policy for employees to assume customers items are bought from your store. I thought I had threw away the receipt for my tea but actually I did still have it. I shop JoAnn’s regularly and never once has this happened to me. Hopefully you have better security measures in place to avoid a situation like this in the future.

Always love a trip to JoAnns. Lots of crafts, paper crafting, beading, fabrics, storage containers for all the above mentioned supplies. Prices seem reasonable. But if something seems high priced, there is almost always a 40% regular priced items via their phone app.

Pretty good selection of fabric but always a good sale, still much to be desired compared to larger branches in Brighton and further! Definitely better inventory than both the Canton Jo-Ann and the other Ann Arbor location.

Always has a great selection of most all craft items, prices are reasonable. Rarely shop at any Joanns anymore because of educational beliefs. The sell the entire K-12 COMMON CORE for home schooling. I believe that common core is the reason our children know nothing of American History, how our Government works or anything about The Declaration of Independence or The Constitution. I feel the agree with the socialistic movement America is facing now and I cannot justify giving them my money.

I found this store to be a very dirty place. The floor is totally full of dirt. I was choosing some items from the lower shelves and put myself on my knees. Surprisedly, when I got back to my feet, I found my pants and shoes covered with dust. It was very disgusting. Then I started to pay attention and all the halls were like that, full of dust. Please do something about!!!

I absolutely love this store. The staff is always helpful and kind, despite having a rush of customers. I appreciate their being accommodating and understanding especially to their customers who are in need of handicap accessible services such as a wheelchair within the store which has come in hand when my family members are fatigued or in a great deal of pain. The staff are knowledgeable in multiple areas of crafts and are helpful with any questions you may have. Also, I have just attended a course at this location which I thoroughly enjoyed. The class size was small and I really appreciated the one on one individualized teaching. I look forward to my next visit there!

Good store with a wide variety of stock. Have been to this location for art supplies, fabric, and decor. Employees arent too pushy and wont bug you unless you ask for help.

Ordered 2 yards of marine vinyl that was folded up to fit in a small plastic shopping bag. I did not want all the creases that do not come out in my purchase. I asked if they had it on a bolt and was told no. We left, and I got to thinking that they were not happy with me and I wanted to check for myself. And, go figure if I didnt see it behind the counter. It got worse from there. They had 2 yards one on each bolt (the internet order stated that it could be separate pieces) I was okay with that I was using it for shelf liners. So I bought both and was told only one coupon on 1 piece. So okay I have 2 coupons. They did everything they could to discourage me from making a purchase. When if they would have taken the original to yards and rolled it up and put a tie on it I would have been satisfied

Its fun to see all the things they have to fix up your home and organize. I enjoy looking at the wedding items and the floral aisles to see whats new.

Went to place a framing order. That went well. Saw some cute items to pick up on the way out, saw the line and put them back. Same old JoAnns, under pay their employees so they never have enough staff. When will they learn, customer experience sucks no matter what store. Sad.

I love the email coupons from Joanns and they have a great sewing selection. I wish they had more natural fiber yarn selections in-store. Love their home decor options, especially the seasonal and the wood products. I could spend hours there. I got a cross stitch framed there and they did an excellent job, worth the price (with a coupon) in my opinion.

They always have what I need to explore my crafty side. This store is one of the cleanest Ive ever seen.

This location has been my saving grace during the pandemic...the Canton store is useless, but this one always has curbside orders ready promptly and the staff on the phone and running orders to cars are friendly and helpful. Even gave me free fabric when I was picking up elastic for masks, enough for 4 more masks!

If you enjoy creating, it must be your favorite place to go. At one point in my life, I enjoyed it so much that I took a part time Christmas job there for the season, years ago. The superstores have just about everything. Easy to get good ideas just walking through. The associates tonight were great, that of course varies. Like it does everywhere, some are just happier in general and it comes across. All in all, a fun place.

Good variety of fabrics, store is kept clean. But the lines are long during peak weekend shopping times.

Very nice store 3 times bigger than our store in Florida

We visited this store twice. The first visit went very well and we selected and ordered two custom frames from a knowledgeable and helpful associate. When we came back to pick up the order things went sour. We were ignored at first even though I rang the bell twice and it turned out a manager named Courtney and an untrained associate were within earshot. An associate from a different department actually went back two times to get them. And even when they arrived we were ignored since training seems to be more important than paying customers standing in front of them. And it got worse. We had brought two more prints to be framed. Courtney walked away leaving us at the mercy of someone who could not answer even the most basic questions about price or matting. So after more wasted time we asked for a manager and so Courtney returned but refused to help because her shift was almost over. And then got mouthy and unapologetic when I rightfully pointed out that this was poor customer service. We wasted nearly an hour and accomplished nothing. And sadly were prepared to spend more money. Will not return.

JoAnns is the place to go if youre a seamstress, enjoy creating artificial flower arrangements, a jewelry maker, or desire learning a new craft. They also have a large selection of Wilton and picture framing products. Reasonable prices and great sales. Beginner and seasonal craft classes are offered. Ample parking including handicap. Bathroom is clean and orderly. Treat yourself to a fun shopping experience .

This is a really nice JoAnns. They have expanded sections, especially paper crafts and floral. Loads of stuff was on sale/clearance unexpectedly.

Smaller, older style but well run and, for the size, relatively well stocked. Staff is always pleasant and friendly!

While cashing out I was paying with a $50 bill. The cashier announced 3 times into her mic that she was taking the bill. Why? I felt that to be very rude. I know cashiers are to check bills, she held it up each time she announced she was taking it.Needless to say I shop there often, but will not be coming to that location ever again!
