One star only because Google doesnt let you do zero star reviews. Terrible customer service; no actual support. Replacement part they sent for their product wasnt correct. Their response was a brush off and a shrug. Lost my business and my recommendation.

I have had a great experience with Gw Kent so far. We took time to go to Michigan, walk around their warehouse, look at equipment, and talk to Chantal. She was very helpful and a straight shooter. She took us serious because we were serious. We also talked with a technical person on staff that was willing to explain design features. We have a deposit down on equipment and when it ships I will update my review but I dont expect it to change.Thanks!

I have ordered once and had a great experience I must say. Placed my order and did not see the email response so called towards the end of the day and left a message asking to confirm my order. The email response ended u in my spam folder I found out later. Lo and behold with standard delivery both my orders showed up the next day which was important as I own a commercial winery. Cheers!

Horrible customer service. Almost like you are bothering them with any question/inquiry. Plenty of other more reputable companies out there selling the same equipment/products. The last order I (attempted) made they delayed the shipping beyond what the normal policy or my confirmation email stated. I responded asking if it could be remedied referencing the confirmation email and their shipping policy. Rather than respond and correct their error I received an email stating my order had been cancelled and my account permanently closed. Real professional. Dont waste your time and get burned. Order your supplies and equipment elsewhere from a company thatll stand behind it and provide the customer service needed when something goes wrong. Wish I could give the negative stars they deserve.

Its shocking how bad the customer service is at GW Kent. Do yourself a favor and read all the other reviews from customers who had the same problem. They clearly do not care at all about their customers or providing good service which is a shame because they offer decent products.

Wow. Zero stars should be an option. Their customer service is the WORST! The first person said they were new and firmly told me she did not know how to look up my previous orders. Then she hung up on me! The next lady was not much better-Sue. She hurriedly took my order and would not let me speak to a manager. We have been working with them for over a decade, and I will be looking for a new supplier.

GW Kent is awesome! They have a pretty decent selection of brewing and brewery related parts and accessories at great prices. I see a lot of negative reviews on here and I would advise to just dismiss them. I have ordered a ton of parts from here, probably more than most, and have never had any problems with any of them. Their stainless is from Taiwan, but has been great contrary to what a few others have stated. My guess is that other reviewers do not passivate before using! There are obviously better options out there as far as brewery parts and equipment but, youre going to pay fortune for them. You get what you pay for!

Have done business with them on a number of occasions in the past ten years. Their stainless steel isnt stainless (it will rust, quickly). They dont offer customer service. I cant understand how they stay in business.The WORST choice for wine supplies.

Ive been using GW Kent for many years and have had a good experience. Ive had issues (manufacturer issues) with some of the products and have had a timely resolution and good customer service from GW Kent.

I bought a chiller from them. Told them my specs of my brite tank and temp i needed it to cool from in a 24hr period. They said yes it will work. Bought the chiller from them hooked it up to my brite tank 56 hours later, finally the liquid in the chiller reached temp. I needed to can my product. Called them back said that it is not working like you said it would, and i wanted my money back. They said no we cant sell a used chiller. Then they lie to me and tried to tell me that they told me the chiller was undersized. Talking with other industry people they have had the same experience with GW Kent. They tell you what you want to hear to make the sale then wont take the product back because they sold you the wrong product.

Material bought: Dry malt extract.Very deceptive business practice, in my experience with them. I was quoted one price over the telephone. The invoice that I was billed was more, the explanation given was special handling fee.The telephone consumer representatives are duplicitous and deceitful. This is one of the worst experience I have every had.They quote one figure on their on line store and over the telephone, but get billed differently (credit purchase).I have no trust in their business practices. Buyer be wary regarding hidden charges and special handling fee.

Do not do business with GW Kent if at all possible! After a very bad experience 10+ years ago with them, I decided to give them a try on an item (pall supracdisc II module) that Scott Labs was out of. The supradisc comes in twist lock and flat gasket types. Kent only stocks flat gasket, but has the twist lock pictured on their website. I called in my order to be sure I was getting the right item (twist lock). Of course I get the wrong item after doing more than my share of due diligence. With the screw up being totally on their part, Kent still wont make it right and charges me the shipping on top of it all! We all make mistakes, but reputable people make it right. Amazed theyre still in business. All the new craft brewers who have yet to learn whos who must be keeping them in business. Lesson learned: Just like a nasty breakup in a personal relationship and you go back to them after time has passed and think things will be different, and they arent, business relationships are just the same.

Customer service is a joke! Paid for ground shipping - 3 weeks later received on tractor trailer - asked to speak to manager - REFUSED - was told “ they owner does not want to speak with you and will not be refunding the difference.”

Worst customer service Ive ever had! Tried to order rice hulls. Was on the road and call and was directed to the website. Which is hard to do while on the move. Sent an email as was given a freight quote and then directedTo the website again to get the prices of the rice hulls. They dont want to deal with you and would rather you just order it online so they dont have to deal with you and if it breaks then you are just screwed! DONT USE THESE PEOPLE!
