First time at this location. Fast friendly service. Fresh hot cookies, a variety of different flavors, ice is also an option to put together an ice cream and cookie sandwich. They also offer shakes.

Love their cookies and ice cream, but their delivery is absolutely horrible. Every time its super long delivery or even sometimes I dont recieve my order. Tonight my delivery driver never even contacted me or anything that they delivered my order and that caused my ice cream to completely melt (my neighbor found my order outside and brought it to my apartment). Not to mention also I send feedback online about stuff like this and never get responses or anything. Absolutely horrible.

Having tried Insomnia cookies in NYC, I was excited to see the store on my map when I visited Ypsilanti. We reached a little earlier than opening time so waited in the coffee shop next door. Once the store opened, we were greeted with the aroma of freshly baked cookies. The lady behind the counter was friendly and courteous. The cookies themselves were fresh, hot, and yummy! Ten out of five stars!!!

How were they out of flavors AND our cookies werent warm.....warm cookies is supposed to be what they specialize in.

We came in at the tail end of closing shift, so they were out of the 3 best flavors of ice cream, and all of their energy, poor dears. But they were patient, kind, and had good new flavors. Thanks, guys!

I drove all the way from Taylor to there & was told I can’t pay cash. Okay cool. My total was 10.60 I had 10.07 on my card I wanted to pay the rest of my change exact. Was told no. I hate inconveniences like this as I will never be returning.Originally gave a one star rating but the black man with the dreads turned it around. 100% outstanding customer service !

If I could I would give absolutely one star. I love insomnia Cookies. I usually go to the store in Ann Arbor Michigan because I live in Ann Arbor. I decided to give the Ypsilanti store a try because I was In The area. This insomnia store is nothing like the Ann Arbor store they didn’t have enough of the classic cookies to sale. The cashier was very forgetful of what I was asking to order asked me three times what was it I wanted I spoke clear about what it was I was ordering and because it was a long line behind me I didn’t check my box I was missing the mint chocolate cookies I told her three times my order I wasn’t told till it was time to pay they wasn’t excepting cash there wasn’t any thing posted around the store that it’s card only. My experience from the Ann Arbor Michigan store for so many years is great so Shame on me for expecting the same Quality in customer service and professionalism I will never return to this store.

I placed an order for delivery on a Friday night. After an hour of the cookie tracer showing that my order was baking I received a text saying my delivery would not be for another hour. I live 5 minutes away from the store if that. When I called to cancel my order the woman who answered was very nice and polite. However she did not seem surprised to hear that it would be a 2 hour wait for delivery. She refunded my order but I will never be ordering from them again.

Very great service, and as always amazing cookies; however, if you are about it be given something from off the rack instead of the ovens politely request a different cookie. Theyre not quite warm at all but all the same as till delicious.Overall loved it as always.

First time placing an order as I thought I was able to go directly in and grabbed ice cream at 1a.m. 🤣🤣 but the location was closed and only accepting online orders. I called and ordered thru a customer service representative and only issue for me was waiting an hour for 3 scoops of ice cream. You’ll either have an amazing experience with the best tasting cookies; or you’ll have an experience where the cookie is overdone, the delivery or pick up time is delayed or slow etc.That being said you take the bad, you take the good. Their seasonal cookies are always bangin and the confetti cookie is definitely nothing but sugar on top of sugar, mixed with sugar and a teaspoon of flour, but hey, why go to a cookie store if you’re not going to indulge?Average overall but can have a really good or really terrible experience depending on the day, time, and who is working that time. The almost sinfully good cookies makes me give this a 3 over a 2.

The staff morale and kindness varies but the cookies do not. Good cookies if your looking for a run of the mill cookie shop. Open till 1 is a major plus for the late night snack run. Delux cookies are a little bigger. Cut them into quarters to prolong the fun.

Good products but I cannot recommend this location. Ordered from here three times and have been disappointed every time. The most recent time we waited two hours for our order, and when it arrived, the ice cream was very melted. We were also missing part of our order. Luckily we were refunded for the missing part. This location is horribly understaffed. The employee on the phone was pleasant and explained that they only have one driver! Thats crazy. I feel really bad for the employees. Corporate need a to hire more staff. I sadly cannot recommend this location.

My order took over 2 hours to get get delivered. I called the store about an hour in and she said there was only one delivery person working. Delivery should not be available when the store is short staffed. Or there should be a warning that it could take over 2 hours! I received a text that they were out for delivery and it still over 30 took minutes after that. This is absolutely ridiculous. The cookies weren’t warm and the ice cream was melting. So disappointed. I tried to contact corporate but the form says “internal server error” when I try to submit it.

Love insomnia cookies however when I pulled up today, the lady who served me her name was Lindsey was very short with me. She even shook her head after I asked her a question. I guess I shouldn’t be expecting superior costumer service at a cookie shop but it was incredibly rude. Will likely find another location to shop at.

Customer service was horrible. The front counter girl was rude and when we got home our cookies were rock hard. Very disappointing.

I never thought I’d be writing a review for Insomnia Cookies of all places, but I’m pretty frustrated.The last 3 times we’ve ordered from them it has taken over 2 hours to deliver. Before that, they’ve consistently forgotten ice cream if we ordered it. We just called for our current order and we’re connected to their call center. When they tried to contact the store, they didn’t answer and all they could say is that they’re understaffed and running behind so they’ve been sometimes resorting to PostMates to deliver.My advice is to order directly from PostMates or UberEats if you hope to get your snacks in any reasonable amount of time.

I have ordered from them 5 times now and every time they wowed me. Cookies are always warm, soft and delicious. Delivery drivers are always nice and they are always timely with delivery. Tonight I chose pick up instead and they were ready before my pick up time. Many different options. They have a pretty sweet loyalty rewards deal as well. Ice cream you can customize to youre liking as well as ice cream cookie sandwiches. If you havent tried them yet you should.

Employees were rude!! Went with my 3 nieces and nephew, and sister. Since only 3 people were allowed they made the kids stay outside in the cold at 10 pm just because of covid. The pandemic is not a joke. But making kids wait outside is ridiculous and not safe!!

Customer service was terrible! You’d think in times like this that businesses would value their customers, not the case here. There is a nice variety of cookies, for instance, triple chocolate chip or snickerdoodle. The cookies come out warm and soft, like a taste of heaven. They remind me of warm clouds during a sunrise, if that makes any sense. Oh and their ice cream sandwiches were quite delicious, maybe even to die for. The service was quick and the place was clean. I am even planning on ordering catering. I truly recommend Insomnia Cookies, you will not regret it.

I’m really not excited for winter but this place helped warm my heart and took care of me. I have been outside catching Pokémon in this cold weather and the fact that I got fuel up here helped me a lot. This store in Ypsilanti is open late for those people up around those hours. ...And it’s very CLEAN! Highest recommendations.

I am amazed at the level of incompetence at this establishment. Up until tonight I wouldnt have guessed it would be so difficult to put ice cream on a cookie. Unfortunately I learned that this place has a lot of dimwitted individuals running it with bad attitudes. Not even close to closing time and already trying to push a customer out based on suggestive wait times. Worst experience ever. Makes me never want to eat insomnia again. Luckily theres a better location in A2.

I drove 40 minutes one way to try Insomnia cookies, because I heard they are delicious. I was immediately not impressed but how dirty the store was, or by the fact I had to wait outside with my handicapped wife due to their one customer at a time rule. There was only one person in the store in front of us, and no one in line behind us, so the wait wasnt a big deal. When it was our turn, I opened the door for my wife, and held her hand to walk her inside. Almost immediately, the gentlemen working the counter shouted to at me, ONE CUSTOMER IN THE STORE AT A TIME! I politely and respectfully informed him that myself and my handicapped wife are one customer, and he shouted again the same thing, rudely. I was not ok with making her wait outside while I made a selection and paid - they are taking Credit Card Only, and she did not have a credit card on her. I do assume that the gentlemen working the counter was only following direction of his superior by enforcing this ridiculous policy - but I am very disappointed in this business for not allowing me to accompany my handicapped wife into their store to order carry out cookies. I am quite honestly still in disbelief, even after my 40 minute ride home.

Just wanted to express our extreme disappointment in the order I picked up today. We arrived before our pick up time. Our cookies were not warm or soft. I raved about these cookies to my family and went out of our way to get these things tonight only to be disappointed. I could have picked up these cookies at the local Kroger if I wanted pre made, ordinary cookies. They certainly did not live up to the insomnia cookie name.

They are everything you could want when craving hot, fresh cookies at 2am. If they partnered with the local Go! ice cream parlor for their ice cream cookie sandwiches, I think Id die happy. Expect, large, fresh, hot, gooey wonderful cookies all day and into the night.

Great cookies, but it took more than two hours to get them last time I ordered them. First hour was because they wouldnt deliver without a phone number that their own faulty website deleted, and after I called to correct it, it took another hour to deliver. I only live 5 minutes from them, and I understand routing is an issue, but an hour?

Had their gluten-free, vegan chocolate chip cookies for the first time tonight. They were delightful - cooked just right, warm, gooey and chocolaty. We couldnt have asked for better! (Just wish they werent so expensive. $11 for 6 or $2.20 each)

Twice we have ordered delivery and gave clear instructions on how to deliver. Twice we have gotten no calls, no updates and when going to check the tracker, it says our order is delivered. I will not be trying a third time.

Slowest place, they need help.with time management

The sweets are really good and if you order in person, the employees are often casual but kind. On the phone however, they can be a little rude. Items will generally be correct but you cant order all the items they list for some deals and that can be annoying. Otherwise, if youre looking for a late night sweet snack, you can come here.

Ordered cookies- not only messed up the cookie order, but also shorted me 7 cookies on a late night delivery. When called back to ask where the rest of the cookies were, the employee told me the driver would be returning with the missing 7. The driver never came so when I called back again the person answering the phone said the delivery driver was sent home and the cookies wouldn’t be coming, that they were now closed. However the employees didn’t have the common sense or courtesy to call back and say that they wouldn’t be delivering them after all, or to offer a refund. Second time out of three times ordering it has been incorrect.

Walked in with my girlfriend, now the sign does say 1 customer only however we assumed that meant parties because we’re paying together. Before even stepping one foot in the door one of the employees yelled out “ONE CUSTOMER IN THE STORE”, as she had her mask on her chin spitting in all the ice cream. smh. Will not return. Only follow the rules they want to.

Cute little cookies and ice cream shop. I end up here probably two times a week at midnight, buying chocolate chip brownies and superman ice cream. The employees are super nice. Its clean and cute and a really cool place to get a snack at two in the morning. Just be careful driving in that area at night. There are a lot of college kids walking around.

I heard so much about these cookies I had to try them. Not good. I did not like the at all. I think I was waiting for the best cookie I have ever had. I was so disappointed. They are $2.49 each. I would not have cared if they were good. On the other hand the customer service is great. I really enjoyed talking to the young man that helped me. I wont go back.

I only gave two stars because the cookies are delicious and, if you pick them up yourself, still warm. They are also extremely overpriced (they arent even organic) and the selection is more grocery store than gourmet. Im not entirely confident that they are so much freshly baked as they are simply popped in a microwave as they are ordered.

Never had a delivery take less than an hour--the website says 20-35 minutes, and thats so wrong. We were underwhelmed by the chocolate chip and m&m cookies, but the Reeses one was very good--the candy made it a little too sweet, but my partner doesnt even like peanut butter cookies and he loved theirs. Overall a disappointment, but that was the shining star.
