Their catfish is good! Their lasagna is sweet diabetic sweet! Yuck! Theyre pinto beans are canned yuck they used to be homemade! The meatloaf is yuck! The gravy is yuck! The mashed potatoes are good but theyre homemade and powdered mixed together! If you dont like real food and youre not used to real good food ?... Then you might like it! Its not real seasoned. The soup the cabbage soup is good.. the chicken noodle is bland no salt no garlic. The potato soup was good different but good... I havent tried anything else yet . The breakfast is probably good who can mess up breakfast?!

For a hole in the wall diner, this was definitely a great choice. The food was excellent as well as our server Halie. If you ever catch yourself in ypsi, make sure to stop in for breakfast! You won’t be disappointed.

Its ok. Staff were nice, food was not cooked the way I like it. But I ate it anyways. Well done meant medium for steak, and over well eggs were made over easy. Guess what well done hashbrowns became!! I will try them again before my final review.
The food is always great...we were in a couple of days ago and overheard Mindy and the other regular waitress speaking loudly of their intention not to be vaccinated, ever. That is their choice. They were not wearing masks as stated on your web site. We were highly offended that there was no compassion or care to those in the restaurant at the time. My husband is on chemo. This was distressing to us. We will no longer patronized your restaurant. EVER. We have been customers for many years..
Just left the place... Perfect scrambled eggs... Gordon Ramsay would approve ... Good biscuits n gravy... The absolute worst ham and sausy patty I have EVER been served in a restaurant in my entire 66 years....cardboard tasteless sausage and Ham with the consistency of bologna.... Both disgusting...How can you folks even think of serving that garbage.....??
I would give 0 stars if I could. The breakfast was sub-par. The service was not good even though its was slow.My server spent most of her time talking to another customer about her political beliefs. Loudly. Full of conspiracy theories.Not LGBTQ friendly!!It was a horrible experience.

The waitress is super. The food was delicious, and cooked to my specifications. Tony and his wife have really worked hard to make it good.

I waited 45 minutes for my order. I ordered soup and a burger. The soup is pre-made and sits for who knows how long, and I’m sure it only take make 10 minutes to cook and prep the burger. I expect maybe a 20-25 minute wait maybe, not 45.
3 stars is only for the great service. The food hamburger steak was inedible. There was a sign for an experienced cook on the door. Lmao will give another try.

Go to Big Sky Diner for the experience, not for the food. A 50s-styled neighborhood eatery, it has loads of atmosphere. And the menu offers the kind of homey comfort foods kids were raised on in the 50s and 60s. Tuna casserole, stuffed cabbage, meatloaf, stuffed peppers, spaghetti. The prices are low, and the servings are generous. Generally the food is unremarkable---overcooked, mushy, lacking in flavor. But its definitely worth the experience to check it out.

I eat here often and always enjoy the food. The prices are fair and the service is good. Had Fish & Chips on the senior menu tonight. The Cod was cooked to a flaky interior with a golden crust. Quite Good.

I work at a medical facility and have been a customer of theres for the past year. We get delivery from them every week. There is a specific woman who answers the phone and isnt very pleasant. Today was the last straw. We asked to have our bills itemized because we always place large orders from our nurses, doctors, MAs etc. They usually dont do it but today we asked the girl on the phone to please make sure it gets done as it never does. The girl put the phone down and didnt mute us and went on to complain to someone that we wanted our bill itemized and that it wasnt fair. She was rude when we asked about substitutions on an omelette. Never has a friendly tone and was giving us a hard time so we decided to cancel our order as she kept us on the phone while she complained to someone. We called back and asked to speak to the manager, the same girl had answered and she refused to give us her name and said the manager was out for delivery. When our office manager told her who was speaking she put the phone down again and went and got tony who didnt give us the employees name. We dont know if he was the manager or not but all he said was well shes been here for thirty years. No apologies from her and he didnt seem to care at all.
Had dinner with my girlfriend .Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and Tony was very accommodating. Will be back definitely!

Favorite place to get smelt. The food is great and the portions are generous. I was out running errands at night and stopped in to order some carry out. I went on running another errand while they were making it, got caught up, and by the time I got back they were closed. I mistakenly thought they were open 24 hours, but thats only on the weekends. Anyway, the lights were off and it looked like everyone was gone. I was about to leave... then I saw Tony come up with a bag of carry out. He was waiting there to make sure I got my food. This is that kinda place.

Good food & service. Their food is homemade and they serve generous portions. Prices are very reasonable. The seating and booths could use a little updating. Open 24 hours so obviously if you dont order from the grill you may get something that has been re-heated.
There waitress is okay but the food is horrible, they dont serve turkey sausage nor sugar free syrup the food under cooked I will never eat there again.

Employees are rude. Menu is inaccurate, if you have alleries dont order from here. Theres a good chance that what you order comes with extra stuff not labeled on the menu. I ordered a big sky salad, description says grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and hard boiled eggs on a fresh bed of lettuce!First off i didnt get the eggs. Secondly its got cucumbers on it.Thirdly its got tomatoes on it, which im mildly allergic to, so thanks for the threat on my life!I called up there to complain and they offered to add eggs, like thats gonna cure my allergy.Never coming back!Change your ways or get sued!

Have messed up on our to go orders multiple times. Once I found a hair in my omelette. They change their pricings all the time every time they tell me a different price for the same food. Expect to over pay if youre getting delivery. I was charged $16 for an omelette no toast!
Went here with a friend who likes the place. Food was alright. Seemed like a good cleaning was needed. The wall near our table was gross. Not what I care to look at while I eat. Owner was nice.
Great food, great deals, they dont skimp, super friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.Might be my favorite restaurant in Ypsi, definitely the one I frequent most!Try the Ypsilanti double burger, its huge and delicious and STILL cheaper than most regular burgers. Add fries AND coleslaw for only 2$, and they fill the plate/box with fries.
Good food, however, I was very disappointed to see that no safety measures are in place. Not one staff member was wearing a mask. It’s almost as if this establishment is completely oblivious to the fact that there is a pandemic going on right now.

Great diner, owner and staff are cool. Night time crowd is very diverse, day time crowd can be irksome. This has become a hub for the reactionary far right faction of Ypsilanti and township, but its still worth supporting the business.Most of the stuff uses better ingredients than the local Coneys and there is something for everybody on the menu. Definitely the most underrated spot in Ypsilanti. Good prices and service. No frills and no stress.

Surprisingly great; Tara was a wonderful server. They didnt sandwich every one in to section one section just because; Tara ran around the entire restuarant. Best home fries since I have made them, the chef, Dave, knows what he is doing. We will definitely be back!

Great little diner with excellent food and excellent prices. They have a large menu to choose from and they also offer, call in pick up orders as a option. They have great hours, and great friendly staff/Owners, Tiffany is by far my favorite waitress, she makes you feel right at home while youre there. Theres a big parking lot right out front with tons of room and the buliding/bathroom/seating is all wheelchair accessible. The food there is amazing and the servings are huge. Never once have I had a bad experience! I would definitely recommend checking out this cute little diner.

Its a roadside diner, and it met my expectations. Clean, fast service, good food, and reasonably priced. The menu is standard, and the building is a bit worn around the edges, but dont let that prevent you from stopping in for a quick bite.
