I was able to get a unit in a short lead time. It was near the place I later moved to.It really saved me. A great experience with them. Gated in, need a code, secure.

Jessica was great. It was my first time renting a storage space and she made it quick and easy.

No problems at all with my check-in or use. Manager/attendant was very informative and answered all of my questions :)

Showed up after hours unable to find my spot because it doesnt match the map I was given (to which I was told by their employee needed to be updated). Their outdoor parking spots are just cheaply spray painted numbers on the floor that have been washed away. Called customer service who couldnt help me at first because they put the wrong name on file (and they couldnt fix it either I have to come back during store hours). They attempted their emergency contact number to find someone on site who could help but no response. No help at all.

Like the place a lot and convenient.Off sight management did not listen to my individual need.Agree with current 4.5 out of 5 stars:-)

My unit was invaded by bugs and rodents. After speaking with Kathy Hall, district manager, I was advised that there was not supposed to be any foods stored in the unit. I had canned goods, bags of beans, and boxes of pasta stored. She says its in the contract. If so I apologize.

Property looks decent, seems like they are getting things redone. Sadly I decided not to rent here as the prices right now are currently high. However the managers on site did give me options and recommended sister properties. The people seem great, friendly. If anyone from the company reads this, can you guys do something about the smell of the carpet? The managers have informed that they have done everything possible when I complained about the smell.

This is my first time storing my items at a storage facility. My experience has been good for the most part. The place doesnt look like much but management is very helpful and nice. I would recommend this place for a few months stay. Not bad at all.

Exceptional customer service, Leah listened to my needs, showed me two units, and I moved in the same day. The rates were the best in the area and I even got the first month free. I rented a 7x10 with garage door access that was handy to back the trailer in yesterday to avoid the rain. Couldnt be happier.

The movers arrive on time. I scheduled 3 hours to move my things they arrive at 1:30pm and was done by 4:15pm and billed me for an extra hour. They werent carefull with my belongings things were missing and they would claim they didnt see it or it did not belong with the item. My dryer was damage and they didnt take accountability for the damage. I called the office and filed a claim and the over charge of an hour. As of today I have not heard back from the company.

Nails in the yard. Needed to get 2 tires patched. High price. Forced to get their property insurance on top of the high monthly rate. It is also rundown.

Great staff, prices are somewhat okay. I’ve seen cheaper prices a few miles away but the staff is great so I decided to rent here. I also noticed one comment here about the office smelling weird and I do have to agree, it isn’t a pleasant smell and I hope upper management takes care of the issue.

Dont have to think about it. What storage should be. Easy access. No gotchas in the contract. Easy online account maintenance. Ive changed my method of payment easily online without ever having to call. Worry free.

The exterior of the facility needs a boat load of work done to it. But the staff is friendly and make the move in process, simple and easy to do. I would recommend this place to others, only because of the amazing customer service and okay pricing. I guess looks are deceiving.

I just moved into town to go to college and I had to move my stuff from a different simply self storage into this one. I found it very nice and clean and Jay is a very nice manager. I will continue to use simply self storage through my college days.

Had to use this place to store my belongings in between semesters. Its a decent place, the prices are fair and the move in process is very simple and quick. All questions I had were answered by the staff. Will rent again next summer.

I move around the United States often so I have a TON of experience when it comes to dealing with storage companies and by far this has had to be the best out of many storages places Ive dealt with. Everything was organized and in order I had absolutely no issues with anything. Leah, who I believe to be the manager at the Ypsilanti location was absolutely amazing, she was extremely helpful when it came to answering my questions and she was excellent at making me feel comfortable with leaving my personal belongings there. My things were auctioned. I can understand that. However I was bothered by the fact that they will not put the proceeds toward what I owe. I lost everything of value to me and still owe them the original balance? What was the purpose of selling my things. They profit and further penalize me at the same time. Just have to think of it as things lost in the fire. Seems scandalous to me. No good will come to them for taking advantage of people when they are down. Certainly not what they seem. Good luck.

Love the facility and the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. However small little issue which is the spiders. I know the facility is surrounded with trees but those things get real big during the summer time.

The area looks a bit sketchy but its clean and the staff are very friendly. As college kids, my roommate and I didnt really know how to approach getting a storage unit and the manager was very nice and walked us through the whole process. We also got a great deal on our unit! Would recommend

Jay is incredibly helpful and pleasant - hell really bend over backward to help you get squared away. My experience with SSS Ypsi is top notch, and I cant recommend them enough! Excellent pricing, clean units, and close to apartments and homes along Grove Road!

Unit was infested with mice. Switched units, wanted same size, given size that was less than half the size I had. Had to move on the weekend due to my job so stuck taking the smaller unit. Had to get rid of all my furniture, and other things. All I got was 2 months free storage. Big deal, my living room recliner was worth over $600 alone. Im not a happy camper. I tell people to NEVER go to this storage company. Also, when rates are raised, it be nice to be informed.

Jay was very knowledgeable about his property, on my tour i would have to say by far the climate controlled units were the best. With the weather Michigan tends to have i feel save knowing that electronics and pictures will be stafe.

Came with my brother and Leah helped us out real good. She keeps this place looking good. We rented some years ago when it was national. Told us the gate would be fixed real soon.

I am so angry at this place. Beware of you are storing your items outside storage, we had all of our items damaged by water, rats and mold. We placed a claim with their insurance company and after giving them everything they wanted including pictures, they denied our claim. Management is good, he tried to help but I overly caution everyone to earn for another storage facility. You will lose your items here.
