The young African-American girl in firearm section was absolutely AMAZING. I asked her name specifically remember it and now I cant. Please tell her I am sorry. This young lady had a very good attitude, was very knowledgeable, and her efficiency was top notch. We bought a CO^2 BB gun and ammo. She showed us different models and knew everything about each, didnt even skip a beat in answering. I cant rave enough abut her customer service skills I was in business management for almost 20 years, and that girl is management material, watch her and youll see. We like the gun. Im just learning to shoot, and the sites on top of the gun make it very easy to line up. Thanks for providing employees that are so easy to engage with. Love, love, love the service.

Good selection of sporting equipment. We bought two guns here and despite the California anti-gun laws we were able to get them as soon as possible. Good service and friendly staff. We also bought our Winchester .44 Magnum Ammo here. A little too expensive . I would recommend this store for sporting goods and to buy guns.

Big 5 is pretty cool because my son always finds what he needs and if not they can always find it in another big fis there big 5 staff is very helpful

The Big 5 Sporting Goods store in picturesque Yucaipa,California had a very helpful staff and a great selection of sports and outdoor products.I needed a bicycle inner tube and the lady at the counter was very helpful.The price was fair and they have loads of free parking too!Their return policy is excellent and the experience was very positive!

Very helpful. Showed me where to find what I was looking for. Went for Presidents Day wknd. They had great deals and it wasnt crowded at all. Pretty empty actually. But they had sold out on 2 of the items I wanted the day before so it must have been busy that Sat.

Not only are we very excited to have this new store to our little town, its just an awesome plus that they have excellent customer service! The store is always very clean, and yes I know its new but they do a good job at keeping it clean at all times. The staff is all more than helpful the minute you walk in the door.

I was greeted by a staff member as soon as I walked in. He was friendly and directed me to what I was looking for, with detail of where to look, which made it quick and easy to find. Got lucky because they had 1 in stock and it was the exact hat size I was looking for. All in all, my visit was a pretty quick and pleasant experience.

I went to check out the new store and buy a new cooler. I was greeted when I came through the door, but seemed to become invisible right after that. I found the coolers conveniently located on a shelf 10 feet off the ground. I couldnt find any employees to help me get one down even though I was the sole customer in the store. When I did get some help the employee was polite and respectful and I got what I needed.

Place seems normal and good, but the service is horrible . I’ve been there 3 times and each time the service is either rude, or stuck up . Staff needs to be more friendly and less rude and more helpful and less lazy. Horrible never going back .

When i am the only one in the store and i am standing in the shoe department for 10 min and not one person even asked if i needed help oh yeah thats because all of you were standing around eating ...but i will say this it smelled good whatever it was. So finally i get my shoes that were the wrong size then there was another 10 min it took me to track the guy down to tell him i asked for a 10 not a 7 .then about 9 min into the last 10 min i was there i walked out with no shoes

Only sporting goods store in Yucaipa where sport enthusiast is high. Great prices and selection makes this an outstanding addition to the community. The staff and management takes pride in serving and listening to every ones needs and wants.

The store seems to be well stocked. I counted four employees. Two were working the register when I arrived. Both handling a single customer. One cashier left to help stock. I was second in line. The lady in front of me requested 3 separate transactions. The cashier still up front was apparently new. She made several mistakes and and didnt know how to ring up gift cards, or how to deduct coupons. It took upwards of ten minutes before I was rung up.I feel the more experienced employee should have stepped in to assist the newer employee, and a customer should never have to wait upwards of ten minutes when there only two customers in line.

Had an ammunition background check done I had been waiting for a call back as per instructed Well after waiting since June I finally called to check status he told me it expired when I asked why wasn’t I notified he then lied saying he called and left a message never again will I go to big 5

This big five didn’t sell me a pool and I waited for more than 6 hours straight

We love having a Big 5 here in town! Makes it so convenient to pick up the kids sporting goods. My son likes the way their champpro baseball pants fit and I like that they have a velcro hem that you can use to adjust the length without sewing!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Google says they open at 9 so we show up at 9:30 to buy a clay pigeon thrower but they actually don’t open until 10. We knock on the door to have an employee tell us that they don’t have control over the hours on google. Like I believe that. I then ask to talk to the manager and then the employee disappears and never comes back. This store does not seem to care about its customers. We then went in and the managers said that he has things to do this morning and didn’t have time to speak to us. He didn’t even apologize for not having his employee come tell us that they couldn’t let us in. He was extremely rude and we will never be coming back. The date we went was 1/4/2019 and the manager was a middle aged brown haired man with a beard. Extremely terrible customer service.

I like big 5 they have good deals on shoes, you can get something pretty good for a very good price depending on the sales. Having said that though this big 5 seems to be understaffed when it comes to said shoe section and I have to wait a while before I can get a hold of someone.

Good products but I went in today and didnt much care for the stuck up attitudes from employees and the cashier girl that I went to.
