I have a Gravely 42 inch cutting mower several years old. Have been cutting about four acres with the mower every year. In March 2021, had this mower serviced at Giles Brothers (GB). The first mowing every spring seems to be the thickest and toughest mowing of the season. After GB serviced the mower, made my first cut of the 2021 season and was thrilled as to the ease and quality of the cutting. The mower absolutely cut better and performed as if new. For mower service, I recommend GB and if I have to ever purchase another mower, be going to GB.

Absolutely love this place not only are they knowledgeable about their product. They also do amazing work. Brought my lawn mower back to life.

Please read review from Ashley Lambert first.I am her husband. Everything she said in her review is true. With that said i am giving them 4 stars for calling me about her post and apologizing. Apologies are rare these days. The owner admitted they were negligent in not inspecting the saw properly and never took the cover off. I am disappointed that professionals would do that, but hopefully it was a one time thing. Owner is going to pull ticket and refund anything we paid, but I dont believe we paid anything except for disappointed and frustration. He is also supposed to talk to the mechanic about it and take care of that internally. I would be willing to give them another chance if needed. Thank you for your apology Gilles Bros, I do appreciate that.

Took lawn mower in for tune up. 3 week backlog but they were friendly!

Have been here several times to buy equipment or accessories the last 2 years and havent had any issues. However, I brought my nearly new stihl chainsaw in a few months ago to be evaluated because something was wrong. Was told that the chainsaw was dead for good and that I didnt put premium gas in it. I knew that I had taken care of the saw as I had been instructed when I bought it there, including what kind of gas they told me to use. It didnt add up. Upon further investigation my husband eventually found the problem and was able to fix it. There were wires inside that needed fixed and once he figured it out it was a very easy fix. Gilles Brothers were you just trying to get us to buy a new chainsaw there or are your guys naive on how to assess and fix equipment? Either way, not good!!!

Brought my lawnmower in for the carburetor to be fixed. I was not called or updated on the issue or what would be replaced. A small part and a job that should have taken an hour at most ended up taking two and a half which resulted in a $200+ bill. The $80/hr labor is excessive for a small engine and a small job.

Ive been doing business with Gilles Brothers for close to 15 years and have bought and had serviced 2 mowers with them. This is a place that reminds me of the stores my dad and grandpa did business with where you could trust them at their word. You dont always get that feeling anymore. Highly recommended

To bad theres not a negative star. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this place got a quote for a little over 200 for a repair and when I came to pick it up the bill was almost 900. 4 times as much. I called another shop and they quoted me the under 300 price so I called Stihl direct and they confirmed that I was getting overcharged as well. It was not a miss understanding. I was grossly overcharged again this was backed up by ANOTHER DEALER AND STIHL
