I love Big Lots! I mostly love the things they have for outdoors. I never purchase at regular price only when they have sales because I think the prices are a little high. This has happened to me twice now when Ive gone to buy something on sale that the item doesnt ring up with the discount. The first time I didnt notice it until I had already left the store and I had every intention to go back the following day for my $3 refund but I didnt. I know its only $3 but still it just irks me if its on sale it should come up as such and the customers should not have to be checking to insure they got the discount. This last time it was closing time and one item didnt come up as 20%off I asked the cashier about it and she said only swimming accessories which it was it was a splash pad and there were other sprinkler type play items that were on the same racks marked 20%off all the items on the 3 shelves were marked 20% off all three shelves had the 20%sticker on them. She goes and looks and I said isnt it all the items there because it was on those shelves and she said no only accessories. They were already closed by now and I didnt want to argue so I just said ok and the as I was leaving she said pools arent included. I thought to myself its not a pool its a pool accessory but I left anyways but I will go back tomorrow to speak to someone else and get my $5 back because it was there with everything else that was a sprinkler type water thing and it should have also been discounted. Hopefully they dont give me a hassle about it. I just hate that I have to go back now to get my discount. They really need to check into their items they put on sale more and I feel if a customer questions them then they should automatically call over a manager for clarification. Especially since she obviously wasnt even paying attention to what I bought because it wasnt a pool at all and she could have easily seen that if she would have looked closely or just read the box.

They were very helpful several came by on there way going else where stopped to say hello and wanted to know if they could help me find something or reach something for me since I am wheelchair bound. Very nice people there.Store was CLEAN they were also working their FREIGHT it looked like. It they could have been just filling in.They have quite the food inventory! Dont remember there being so much was just some snack stuff.

WAITED AND ASK FOR HELP 2 TIMES!!WAITED ON 2 PHONE IN ORDER CUSTOMERS INSTEAD WHILE WE WAITED TO PURCHASE A CHAIR! 2 ND PERSON CAME OUT FROM BACK TO HELP THEIR SERVICE PERSON WITH A PHONE ORDER RETURN! TOTALLY IGNORED US AND WENT BACK TO BACK ROOM!!WAS TOLD THAT THEYHAD TO HANDLE OHONE ORDER CUSTOMERS!! WE LEFT!!WENT TO NEWBERRYS IN FOOTHILLS!!GOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WANTED TO WTITE UP MY PURCHASE AND DELIVER IT ON MONDAY. I HAD SHOPPED AT BIG LOTS FOR 20 PLUS YEARS AND HOW DISAPOINYING THAT THE TIME I TOOK TO DRIVE INTO DOWNTOWN YUMA!!SELECT A CHAIR AND THEM TO TELL ME THEY HAD TO TAKE CARE OF THE PHONE IN ORDER FIRST. IVE JUST HAD 3 HEART SURGERIES IN A YEAR AND HALF! I drove in! Parked! Its 111 degrees and YES!!IM ALSO IMPORTANT! TOTALLY IGNORE AFTER 35 MINUTES!! WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER

Big Lots is a fun place for me...has most everything I want and because of that, I have to control myself..NOT !!!

I came out with much more than I went in for!!! A $10 gift card and $149.00 of my own money!! Lots of things,. There was a few items not marked so I passed then by!... Need more cashiers but the one I went through was very nice and accurate!!

I like Big Lots for the seasonal closeout items they take drastic markdowns to sell thru quickly. . Their furniture assortment has the size I need to fit into my RV. Prices are usually lower than traditional furniture stores. Like shhoping here.

Parking lot is kinda awkward and sometimes they dont have enough cashiers. But they still have good discounted health foods and coffee as well as some pretty decorations. Its worth a trip.

The store is exactly how I remember it. Not much has changed. The product selection is vast with both name brand and generic options to choose from.Store cleanliness was ok given the season and time.

Big Lots has great sales every week. If you wait or see something on sale and think, Oh Ill come back for that! It wont be there when you do go back. I find a lot of great items for my home throughout the store. I gave them three Stars bc I didnt clear for a store credit card. Maybe next time? Check them out if you havent already. The staff are helpful, courteous and very much appreciated.

They worked hard to take care of our return on recliner that was defective reminded me to ask for military discount when shopping very helpful could use another person in furniture as staffing was limited but ya gotta maintain a budget to keep prices down great experience keep up good work

Big Lots had the small fryer I wanted at a competitive price. It also has a specific brand and model of drain strainer that I prefer over other products by competition. There are unique condiments and seasonings in the grocery aisle, too. I am happy with the selection and prices found at this Big Lots location.

Prices use to be good. Same as anywhere else for the things that I needed.

The Big Lots in Yuma measured up well when compared to other store locations I have shopped at. Being Christmas time, holiday inventory dominated much of the store and was nicely displayed. I found nearly all the items on my list. Despite there being only one check out clerk with a long waiting line, she was friendly, fast, and very efficient.

Excellent store and personnel working here. I Think the furniture and financing they offered me was a great deal. Store is nice and clean and we do grocery and household shopping, I think they have most items we needed to spruce up our home. Most items are a fair bargain. We will be back to this store again and more likely again.

Do not buy furniture from Big Lots! I took off two days for delivery and they were a no show both times. Customer service is non existent and now I’m forced to take them to small claims court. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

Big Lots is a store of Discounted Items; Not a store of Cheap Items, for the most part. Some Departments have a wide variety; others. Not so much. I rarely fail to find what I am looking for; usually I find a lot more than I have on my list. I enjoy brousing through the multitude of choices. If I am in a hurry, the knowlegable staff can usually tell me if they have what I am looking for.

Staff is generally helpful in all locations. Only once in all the years once been buying here did I have the experience of no one speaking English. This was in one of the out lying San Diego areas.

I felt that Big Lots was an insult to my better judgement as a consumer, their prices, were ridiculously high for most of the items that I would purchase regularly at either a Walmart, or my local supermarket. Personally the only time I would make a purchase there is if it happened to be an item I was unable to find elsewhere.

Great markdowns on seasonal items, I shop mostly for summer items and bedding. Good selection of summer items and bedding, sheets, comforters, window shading, etc. Their markdowns are drastic reduced (50% to 75%) for quick sell thru

Ive been to alot of places in Yuma regarding stores let me tell you I found so many awesome deals at big lots from paper towels to bed sheets to snacks for the kids thanks big lots you saved the day.

All Employees where helpful, even offering to get a cart for me when I found more items than I originally intended & had my hands full. I appreciated that you could actually find someone to ask a question.

They regularly advertise misleading ads that promise storewide discounts but when ypu get there the many exceptipns make it appear like misleading ads. I have stopped shopping at big lots.
