Excellent service! The menudo was perfect, the burrito was not only delicious but massive. Everything was fresh and tasty.

My band was in Yuma for the Midnight at the Oasis car show and were craving Mexican food for dinner. I chose this restaurant based on its ratings, and we were not disappointed.We got there an hour before closing and were received with friendly, prompt service. I forget the name of the young lady who served us, but she had a great smile and demeanor.The food is really great and you must try the homemade tortillas! Such a good place, it was a little chilly and the champurrado definitely hit the spot, it was the Mexican comfort food you crave after a long day. The place waa clean, the staff was great super attentive, and the food absolutely delicious, fresh handmade tortillas definitely topped everything off, will definitely visit this place again if Im ever there again!

Well I am % 100 Mexican not form this area or SL or Yuma. The food was ok nothing out of the ordinary .%100 Mexican food NO. But ok.One thing it take too long to serve the food more than normal.2. The girl was completely lost taking the order and at the end they overcharge us.3. We live a good tip but we didnt realize that the tip was already included.4. Is a little over price.This is a new place for me in Yuma we visits Evey year and I dont think I am coming back.

The service was absolutely terrible! First I tried to call in my order but got a busy signal every time. When I arrived and placed my order in person, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I didn’t receive my order for 40 minutes. They did not appear to be busy by any means either. I will say that the food overall was good but I’m not sure if I will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. I was hesitant to go in at first because it was empty on a Sunday afternoon, but after much convincing from my friends I went in. I am glad that I did, the food here was amazing! I ordered egg, bacon, and potato gorditas, which were flavorful and delicious. I also ordered some birria tacos and was not dissapointed. The tortillas were served hot and fresh, and the service was great.If you want real Mexican food, try this place out!

Food is always really good, their lemonade is so refreshing. The only thing that i dont like is that they charge you a service fee which if you dont notice you leave a tip on top of that for the service.

Food is really good, just the major inconvenience that the staff doesnt mention when the card payment system isnt working before you place an order for take out or dine in so its a surprise in the end when you ask for the bill, you are forced to pay with cash and if you dont have cash you either have to use the atm or go to the circle k . This has happened several times to me already. Great food but lacking communication

I visited this restaurant a while back and sat down with my friends to enjoy a meal I had been promised was going to be great. While we sat there waiting to be served, at least a drink, we watched as multiple other people walked in and were greeted and seated. As we sat there, we watched as the people that had come in after us, were being served food. As we even caught the attention of the waitresses; they ignored us. This went on for about 20 minutes, and we only had the menus in front of us. We got up and walked out, with the assumption that we were being ignored on purpose. The only thing I can say is #TRUMP2020. (By the way, that’s the hat I had on, a camouflage Trump 2020 one). That’s the problem with this restaurant, it’s ownership, atmosphere, and the culture you promote. I doubt my story will stay up here long, as the owner took the other down almost immediately after he laughed and commented on it. Don’t worry, I’ll keep posting it!

Everything was amazing. Al pastor and carnitas tacos were so good! Happy hour 2-6 even on Sunday! Great chips and salsa. All due the really spicy salsa, it goes so good on the tacos. Definitely coming back!

Amazing Carnitas and Re-Fried Beans!

Great chips, but the rest of our meal was very poor and overpriced as well. My sister ordered fish tacos that came out tasting like soap. When she sent them back there was disgruntled grumbling from the staff and we were still charged for them. With so many great Mexican food options in Yuma avoid this disappointment.

One of the best Mom and Pop restaurants in Yuma. Everything made fresh to order so if you are on a hurry, order ahead. Homemade corn tortillas! Best Carnitas town!

Handmade corn tortillas made fresh to your order. Don’t sleep on this place. You will not be disappointed. And the owners are so kind. Freshest is the bestest!

The meats tasted good, but if you order gorditas/tacos expect to have them plain. It should at least have crema and frijoles at the very minimum. If you order tacos it should come with cilantro and cebolla at the very minimum. Bring cash if you dont want an extra charge for using debit/credit card.

I wish they offered chicken. I had asada and al pastor tacos. My wife had chorizo and egg with beans plate. My son had the Macha breakfast burrito. The corn tortillas were fresh made and delicious. The asada and al pastor were perfectly seasoned and tender. My wifes chorizo was good quality meat and the eggs werent over cooked. It was the best she had had at a restaurant in a very long time. The beans are definitely homemade and not from a can. The cost of our meal in total was more than reasonable for the portions and the quality. Carnitas El Taste will be a a regular on our list of restaurants when we visit Yuma.

Found this place on our trip to Yuma and glad we did. Its a nice clean restaurant with great service and awsome food. We had gorditas de chicharron con nopales, gorditas de carnitas, taco de birria and menudo all very tasty and authentic. My daughter also ordered agua de jamaica and it was not the instant kind (another plus) all for a good price. They dont have an extensive menu but they do have the staples and they are delicious. Saw some breakfast conbinations on a chalkboard and really thinking about giving them a visit tomorrow. Place is a little bit hidden so keep your eyes open. Highly recommended.
