I want to give it 5 stars because selection and everything else store should be is there. The prices seem normal to me and you can catch some very good sales. Walmart shoppers need not apply. You guys are going for the lowest price on everything anyways. My only complaint is sometimes the lines get a little bit long. I purposely shop there during off hours and never, never on a Saturday. Seems to take a long time for them to respond. And thats why I gave it four stars. My last experience was Sunday morning shopping for Mothers Day flowers. They have the best selections of flowers and always seem to be in stock!

This is another location of the jewel osco grocery store chain. It was clean and not crowded while I was there, but the layout and aisles are a bit confusing. Prices were reasonable, and they had a particularly good selection of gluten free snacks. Self checkout worked better than I would have expected. So yeah, go here if you need groceries and are in the area.

The quality of food has not disappointed me. I have spent hard earned money at Jewel - Osco every since it open. There is no mistaking I am satisfied. The new look is nice clean and gives a makeover of health.Zion has always been a healthy community and family friendly. I like shopping stress free.

Recent remodel makes such a wonderful difference! Always well stocked on sale items.

Well I dont know what to say about jewels cuz I bought some donuts and I set them on the table and a lot of nuts touched it everything on the table they aint touch next nothing else okay they come in touch still food and stuff selling it they keep it up until the day wont even go give it to the food pantry a few days before it expired hoping to sell it dont even care about the part but they little bitty thing up there asking do you want to support the poor do they want to support the poor take that stuff down there to the food pantry they cannot afford salad 😭.

Always have what I need. They need more cashiers because most times the lines be long. Aside from that they will always be one of my favorites

Love my local Jewels. The staff is always nice & since they rearranged everything I had to re-learn my isles, but thats ok 💙💙

I like this Jewel. Unlike Walmart, the employees are always ready to help. The fruit looks fresh, and I love the fish they have. Its usually not a long wait to check out items either.

I have been shopping here for years and they have the best staff, always helping and very knowledgeable about the store and products!

The Zion Jewel-Osco is a well stocked store and pharmacy. I found brands and varieties that I have not seen elsewhere. The produce looks fresh and inviting. Ill definitely be coming back and if youre in the Zion Illinois area, check them out.

Rudest overnight manager! And closed doors 15 minutes early. Day manager threatened me with police and called because I fell asleep parked in a spot in my car after spending a good amount of money inside. I kept apologizing and they kept cutting me off. I immediately started car to leave and kept saying I understood Im sorry and they continued to call police and be VERY RUDE. Ive been coming here as a customer for 42 years my whole life. Ive fallen asleep there just once. Because of how extremely rude he was I WONT shop there EVER AGAIN. Treat your customers with some kindness and respect!

Even though its located in the liberal, lockdown-mentality state of Illinois, no one asked me to leave because I wasnt wearing a mask. Nice.

This store is a disappointment with the guest. front manager a lady, short blonde hair, was rude to the kid sacking our groceries she yelled at him in front of customers. that was very very rude to do in front of everyone. I hope he tells his mom and she can get taht lady out of there to do that to a 16 yr old kid. Already hard enough to get people to work and she verbally abuses him in front of customers and obviously felt comfortable enough to do it seeing as how she laughed when we told her she should be ashamed of herself.

Standard grocer with an extensive produce section. We especially enjoyed finding snack-size frozen banana slices in the freezer section!

Friendly staff, store aisles and parking lot clean and maintained. Their produce is half the size of other jewel foods locations. Even with this limitations you’ll find the popular fruits and vegetables

Okay...Clean well put together store!To my mother out of three daughters and the oldest, I am the: smartest, most talented, way too nice, too accepting, perceptive, situation assessmentally able, loving, seemingly gullible using it as a tactical advantage, human studying, nothing like her or my other two sisters, and you get the picture.We have an understanding that many may find uncomfortable. We love each other and would do anything for each other, but we do not like or have any of the same personality traits except the need to smile. I find her so comical, and we can laugh until we cry, but also very critical of me.Myself, I just like to understand the entire situation because I am an overthinker and my mind never shuts off. I literally can make up my own dreams on a good day. Yesterday, as usual my mom had me doing paperwork, anything that cant be done in 20 minutes she lays on me. Then she kidnaps me to keep me out of the house because bad days outweigh good 5/6 to 2/1. Of course I utilize a cane, multiple braces, internal devices, but it was a better day.Entering the store, I graduated from a military school, was excited about going to OCS and career, but started getting really sick. I noticed a Navy Veteran and of course thanked him for his service.We entered the store my mother knew exactly what she wanted of course, and now thanks to my Eye Institute Doctor, and Americas Best I can actually see enough to be a bit more productive. Everything was okay until we reached the register. First I always do silly things when on camera and had done so throughout the store (security needs good laughs to)never using food or utensils of course, gross).We reached the register and just by looking the cashier was not a happy camper. When she started ringing up my moms groceries, no greeting, my moms attitude doesnt do calm so she was already starting on 30 because of the cashiers attitude.I was just laughing at my moms boyfriend in another state as he had video called while we were in line and as we listened to my mother explain what was on sale with the sales paper in hand, her phone# entered for the perks and discounts, a bit of a word tussle started with the cashier. Well, sorry but my family have voices that are very intimidating, a lot of singers and such.Another lady, with a smile and nice, had already started bagging and I believe she saw this escalation starting. She obviously had authority as she scanned the screen and asked my mom about what items and prices needed to be adjusted and swiftly went to the areas to grab the tags and view the sales paper so my mom received the $50 worth of discounts on an original total of $170. Well, lets just say the authoritative lady completed the transaction because they cashier and my mom were giving each other the stank-eye. Her boyfriend and I were acting oblivious yet listening and watching everything unfold. Honestly, going to stores with my mother are quite the adventure and her NFG attitude professional, but with authority is a show. Finally we exited, but why does every store fully stock roses?I love lilies, Im just saying!Ooo, so I was walking out right behind my mom, and geez almost got hit by a car, the driver unapologetic even though I gave them they right away, wth? I know its summer and everyone is on the move, but d@mn, there are no crossing lights in a parking lot for pedestrians, and luckily I was able to warn the couple walking into view on my left!

A great little store with a great variety of groceries. Im able to find some Illinois Own products that otherwise I can only get at a farmers market. One thing Im very pleased about is that they carry rose water.

This grocery store looks great since it was upgraded. On another note I warn all customers to start checking their receipt or better yet pay attention as the cashier scans your items! The last SEVERAL times I have gone to this location as well as the Zion location I was overcharged!I began to pay close attention, and caught the many errors! I made them do a price check and it was resolved. This has happened SO many times in a row its pathetic! Ive been overcharged over $12, $10, & $5+. So I started examining my receipts, I will even tell the cashier not to start ringing me up until I have all items out of the cart! Hold on to your receipts, pay attention, they have major changes to examine!

The Jewel on Lewis is terrible but the one on Greenbay and in Zion are GREAT.

The Jewel in Zion has stepped up but still is no where as good as the ones in Waukegan. It never fails, when I go for something special, they are out of it or dont carry it. It is VERY frustrating.

Went to jewel yesterday and we got 2 litter of Pepsis today we opened a bottled and boyfriend said it tasted so flat and he trying to drink. I looked at the date of the soda it said 0ct 12 2020. Can you guys check your shelves before stocking stuff, this is not the first time this happen to us where we bought soda from jewel and the soda would be flat.Thank you.

Bought 2 NY strip Steaks and had to return them because they smelled so bad.I called Customer service and the lady (satrella) hung up on me! What kind of customer service is that? Make sure you keep your receipt I would have been stuck with $24 of rotten meat if I didnt have it even though it was still in the packaging!

Good quality food and they will help u with ur grocery if ur unable to on ur own. Very friendly here.

Small Jewel & Osco. Was better as a National 40 years ago that had a better variety of product. Jewel isnt as good as it used to be, but better than nothing. Store is clean and good produce. Short on a variety of frozen vegetables. Seems to cater to a crowd that prefers alcohol, unhealthy snacks, highsalt, high sugar, highfat, prepackaged ready to heat/eat foods with lots of polysyllabic mystery ingredients. Actually surprised at the wonderfully large gift card area.

I want to applaud the Zion Jewel, where I recently bought beautiful flowers for Mothers Day for my mom who passed.Its nice to still shop at a longtime Chicago based grocery store, especially one with such friendly/prompt service! I used to sell papers there! The florist was really helpful.

I found everything I needed at my nearby Jewel Osco tonight, including a fresh roasted turkey breast, cranberry orange relish, salad, fruit, and rolls. They were prepared for all of the late Thanksgiving shoppers and had more checkers to keep the Covid customers quickly in and out.

Best shopping store around. Staff is great too.

Jewel is always a dollar more for everything you buy. Today I paid $4.49 for a box of popsicles $2.99 for half gallon of milk, $3.49 for 24 pack of water.

I ordered a custom cake several days before I needed it, asking for a few specifics like strawberry filling and certain colored flowers. I was very disappointed when my husband came home with the cake and I immediately notice the cake had a huge dent in the side of it, you could see it was leaning. When we cut into the cake, there was no filling as we had ordered and the lean in the cake was apparent that someone had filled in a side that was incorrectly cut with frosting. I was very disappointed and will likely go elsewhere for cakes in the future.

It was over an hour after the store opened and no fresh baked goods were out. The bakers were all chatting, and even coming back before checking out 15 minutes later there still were no fresh bagels or donuts. It was almost 8, they opened at 6.

Your produce is top notch.....Im gonna say it....I was surprised. I will go here for my produce until the seasons end👍

Liquor selection is awful as well! Try carrying more Revolution and Goose Island products. Not everyone loves Miller & Bud products!

I actually shop at Jewel’s every single day they we reward system is actually pretty good you can get a lot of free items including gas the only thing I don’t like is when they advertise for a sale it seems like their regular prices goes up an order for you to get a buy one get one free... your paying really for two items lol they not slick

These guys are jacking up the price really bad! Just to give you an idea, hershey bar normal size for $2.59 ! On service wise they always have just slow cashiers.. Parking is more than enough to handle. But if you can go somewhere else do so just like me... I drive 6mi before i go here... I went today to avoid waiting time but i am away from this store less than 5min and i dont normally go here due to all these fact that at the end of your shopping you have bin robbed with a permit.

Sunday night, people need to shop. Hire more people, or at least stop hiding in the cash room and open a register your self. Like all Jewels the upper management sucks and the average employee suffers. Woodmans was much ten times as crowded and they dont have a problem keeping their lines moving.I feel sorry for the average employee here, they work so hard for a business that doesnt care.
