The coffee is consistently good from one location to the next. Same chill vibes. They didn’t have pour over at the moment but the flash brewed Guatemala beans made up for it. Great view of the Southern Oregon University while you enjoy your brew.BTW this roaster won a silver cup for greatest tasting blend back a few years ago.
I had a decaf oat milk latte. Their decaf was incredible, the crema of the espresso was beautiful, the froth in the oat milk was amazing, and the smoothness of the coffee was priceless. I only wish I could have a larger mug but I was so satisfied with my 12 oz. This place knows how to make coffee.
Had the pleasure of stopping by Case coffee on the way back from Seattle to California. The coffee is very strong and bold. The barista was able to make Cortado coffee for me which is very rare to get any coffee shop. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and definitely a place to visit for coffee lovers in Ashland.
Nice place with friendly staff. We got a pour over and a latte; both were delicious. The muffins were tasty too!
Friendly, fast, artistic service/batista. Great coffee!
Delicious iced mocha! I’m happy to say this is my new stop when passing through Ashland :)My son rolls his eyes at the amount of money I waste on expensive coffee while on the road, which gets thrown away after five sips because it’s undrinkable.Case gets it right! And the cute bamboo straws are bonus
Cute place!! The barista was so warm and friendly! High quality cappuccino with a thick crema. Iced lattes delicious!
On the up side.super chill atmosphere! i love the decor and merch; very cool that the roasters are on display.we stopped with the whole fam on our way to portland from the san jose area. it was a difficult choice between a cortado & a triple shot lavender latte for me. oat milk & lavender for the win! the kids all enjoyed their drinks: almond milk chai, almond milk steamer, clouds and mist, etc. my husband was the only one who left a little sad still wanting his almond mocha; alas, no almond flavor.it’s right on 99 and relatively easy on/off of I-5.the downside.for family travelers: no drive thru + you have to walk past the marijuana shop from the parking lot.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Outdoor seats available
The coffee is always great but today I came in and there were two customers at the counter without masks. The sign on the front door says “no mask, no service” but the employees paid no attention. They said it fine not to wear one. Two stars because the coffee was good.
Bold nice coffee. Good atmosphere. Definitely go again
The coffee is okay. The service however was questionable. First, they only sell 12oz cups of coffee. I ordered a mocha 3 shots with carmel and chocolate because they offer pretty much nothing else. Secondly, when I recieved my drink they forgot the whip cream so, I asked for it just to have the girl pour a 3rd of my coffee down the drain and put a dab of whip cream on the top. The cup was really wet from her pouring the coffee out. No sleave or extra cup or a napkin. I would not recommend this establishment. Did I mention it is seriously over priced.
Coffee flights! Plan to never leave, youll be happy there :)
I drink espresso at several cafes around San Francisco. On a recent visit to Ashland, I went looking for a cafe near the University. This cafe knows their business. It is very rare that you get a cappuccino served with sparkling water at most places, but Case is one of those places. Excellent coffee with spacious atmosphere.
Amazing coffee and the friendliest staff
Great coffee! Grabbed a mocha and an americano on the way through Ashland. Bright, flavorful espresso. Worth a slight detour from I-5
I love shopping here, but the gentleman with the moustache and striped shirt was incredibly rude and made me feel terrible. I won’t be going back as long as he is working here.
Great local company. Excellent service
We happened across this delightful Cafe heading into Ashland from I-5 & were very impressed. Very smooth flavor, well balanced. The bake goods we had (Buttermilk Biscuit and Jam & a Peacan Shortbread) were superb.Seek this place out!!!☕🍪🥐
Awesome staff, great ambiance. This is my Monday lunch spot.
Prices high service was poor
Great service
Never been why did this come up?
Cool little selection of treats, though espresso reliably tastes sweet... Like who smell when espresso sits in a dish for a number of days, and it has a sweet yet gross smell to it... I know some people like sweet espresso, though if you seek a rich roasted / bitter bean, you wont find it here.
Quality coffee and espresso drinks, with a smattering of baked goods, all made well. Nice little shop, right across the road from the SOU campus, so its always buzzing with activity and caffeine. I also have their Epiphany blend in regular rotation in my coffee machine at home.
Ordered the coffee flight. Machiatto and the drip coffee were amazing. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back.
Best coffee in the valley! Pastries are also absolutely excellent!
Cappuccino was cold and toosed chia tea in the trash
Best oat milk latte I have ever had, and their pour overs are incredible as well. If youre in the mood for a pastry I reccommend their blueberry muffins.
Cool folks behind the counter and great coffee. We purchased two bags of unground beans (they roast here) and my Wife loves them. I would definitely return.
Great little shop, quality refined craft coffee roaster with newspaper-reading and laptop-studying locals. Some of the Geisha roasts (rare coffee crops and delicate flavors) are quite expensive, but you can buy bags of whole beans if youre hoping to brew at home. Small outside area with stylish patio furniture is comfortable in temperate weather.
The nitro cold brew is fabulous! Super reasonably priced for craft coffee. Cute outdoor patio!
Great coffee!
Delicious coffee AND pastries.. above all, it is a community house that every shop wishes to emulate. Its the coffee shop from FRIENDS----- with diversity in trend of race, age, status, income, gender, job title. Its Cheers, Where everybody knows your name.
Great coffee, great service, nice vibe to the place. Right across from the beautiful SOU campus, I think they have the best espresso in town. They go to great lengths sourcing quality fair trade beans and roasting them in house.
Good coffee but horrible like the Emmetts try to ruin you business
No pour over. Cant get any of the beans they roast except for whats in the grinder for the day. Besides the decorations inside, theres nothing really special about this place. Guatamala espresso and the drip were both bitter. Cool employees though.
The coffee here is delicious! I had a soy latte with cute latte art.I also had a super yummy vegan blueberry donut and a vegan molasses donut with candied ginger on top. They have water that you can help yourself too. The staff are really friendly and patient.Theres even a water bowl outside for your doggo. You and your pup can sit at one of the 6ish tables outside.
Coffee is fantastic. Holds its own with any roaster in Portland
Very nice coffee shop with a nice vibe. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have excellent coffee and seem to specialize in cold brew or flash brewed coffee. I searched for pour over coffee, but they dont do that here anymore. Still do stop by though! Their beans are excellent!!!
Our family has been a true lover of high quality coffee since the early 60s. I remember as a child the first thing to hear every morning was the sound of an overworked Braun coffee grinder going to town on Blend 101 or some other exotic bean from a far away land.Today my love of a good cup of coffee has not waned. My background in restaurants has allowed me to appreciate good service, product, and execution. Case Coffee nails it on all three categories.Katie and Tim Case have the passion and instill this into their team. Bravo!Between the Oakland Bay Area and Portland I have not found a better coffee house to enjoy a great coffee drink.Oh and their beans are top quality. If you are home brewer, try having them ship you a bag. The prices are very fair.Cheers!
Great coffee, great service and spinach/feta croissant was amazing
Some of the best coffee in Oregon. I can also say that its better than any Ive had in Alaska, Washington, Nevada, Texas, North Dakota, Montana, and California (these are states in which Ive spent more than a few weeks). Most importantly, it is ethical coffee. Cant go wrong with the Epiphany house blend, but most of their seasonals are fantastic, as well.
Just stopped by quickly on our road trip. Very nice place to hang out if you have the time. Friendly baristas too. The coffee is very good. Tried black house blend and black single origin Colombia and each had distinct and very good flavor. Im glad we stopped!
A good cup of coffee. ☕👍
Free refill! Perfect froth. Good space to work and lovely quiet and cool patio (with outlets!)
Driving from Vancouver to LA this is the third time we stopped here. Great Coffee. Simple hip & clean. Small but nice selection of treats.
I enjoy coming to Cases original location as well as their new downtown store. Its fun to see the roaster in action while they roast their beans. The quality of coffee and service are always great.
Loved the drip coffee they had, as well as the pastries. They also roast and sell their own coffee.
Wonderful people.Got in an accident up the mountain and got dropped off here. They let me hang out after closing so that I didnt have to hangout outside in the cold rain and even gave me a free cup of coffee. I will definitely be stopping by whenever I am in Ashland. Thank you so much for your generosity, you have no idea how much help you were!!
Forget Starbucks and head to Case. worth the search. coffee is silky smooth and rich with flavor
This place destroyed my taste for bad coffee. The staff is well trained on delivering a consistent product and the coffee changes according to what is in vogue. Custom roasted, freaking awesome.
Sam makes a good draft I hear
Great coffee and very friendly service. Definitely worth the stop!
Great vibes, delicious coffee, tasty food. Im really impressed with the coffee. You have to stand out in order to make waves here. This place does it well.
The iced horchata latte is delicious! I wish there was one of these where I live
If you like tasting real chocolate in your awesome mocha this place rocks, always friendly staff
There is not a lot of places to sit inside and all the chairs and benches are all wood with no cushions so its not a very comfortable coffee shop. The coffee is great but I enjoy atmosphere more when choosing a coffee shop and this one is lacking big time In this department.
Always great coffee! The roast right here during open hours and its fun to see them roasting the beans.
Love this place! The very best coffee in Oregon, if not the West Coast. Always friendly service too.
Awesome folks and great coffee. Really amazing story behind their formation, including the purchase and installation of an ancient roaster which only had a German instruction manual at one point.
Excellent matcha latte with great laid back vibe!
SCAM... they charged me $2 for the glass jar the coffee comes and say its refundable, except when I go in to buy more coffee they say that quit doing that and wont credit me towards buying more coffee from them... I wrote them any email to see if they would honor their word... no response...hope you can figure out how to make enough money in a honest way... you dont need to cheat people... how much money will be enough?
Syrups are divine. I mixed caramel and vanilla. Boom better than you know who.
I love the case. I just wish it wasnt so noisy inside so I could write there but the outside is nice
If you love coffee and want to experience a well roasted, perfectly pulled shot--go to Case! Inexpensive and straight forward, especially for the quality presented. Beautiful, friendly ambiance, great coffee, awesome location... Now a must when I visit Ashland!!! :)
I went here when I was going through town and was pleasantly surprised to find Case Coffee. It took a minute to get my coffee due to the pour through method they used, but it ended up being an excellent cup of coffee. I plan on returning here every time Im around the Ashland area. Great service, great coffee, good prices......
Best coffee in town hands down
A coffee shop that opens at 7. And then I bought cold brew heated here several times before the owner was there one day and informed me that they did not do hot cold brew and that she would have to talk to their crew. Nice job sending someone who would rather drink good local coffee down the street to Starbucks.
The best place in Ashland to get a cup of coffee. Very polite employees.
A little overpriced for a college town coffeehouse, but thats the only qualm I have with Case. Their drinks are good and their dedication to the community is top-notch. The atmosphere is amazing.
I am a dopio drinker and they have the most industrial strength dopio Ive ever had. Enough to wake the dead! Also, their house blend is fantastic.
Nice place! Great coffee!! Hard to pay $3 for a cup though :(
Southern Oregons best roasted micro lot coffee. Well pulled straight espresso shots are hard to come by, and these were pretty good.
Different kinda place but well roasted coffee... In my top 3 in the area
Good service/atmosphere but my Americano fell short no crema, no body, and no flavor. Shot was under extracted
Expensive. Charged me $6 for a cup of warm cinnamon water and called it chai.Trash people. Would avoid.
Excellent atmosphere and coffee and tea quality. Across the street from SOU campus.
I try and go here every morning. I wont mention names, but Ashland seems to have the rudest, most conceited coffee shops anywhere. But not this place. Aside from roasting what I think is the best coffee in town, the people working here are very nice and friendly and you get things the way you want them. The actual place could be a little more aesthetically pleasing, and the outdoor seating is not wonderful (right on a main road), but overall, the best place for coffee in Ashland, IMO.
One if the best coffee spots! Excellent attention to detail and a great ambience.
As a former Ashland resident, I must review as a visitor, alas. At this time, Case has the best espresso in town: rich and strong, without a hint of bitterness. I could wish for a larger seating area, but the product and the pleasant staff guarantee that I will always go to Case when Im in Ashland.
Lovely coffee place in beautiful Ashland
Delicious, and warm atmosphere, inviting people that make the experience even better.
I highly recommend a Caramel Latte with Oat Milk!
Very good. They know how to roast!
