WOW! I was shopping around for the best price with my insurance. I had used Eyeglass World about four years ago and wan not impressed. This time I met Payton and Jess. Payton helped me look for nice frames. I told her what I wanted. She asked if I had insurance and I said yes. Long story short, Those two ladies are AMAZING. Got out of there at a great price. The best service I have ever had, and am so pleased. Thank you for turning my opinion of Eyeglass World around.

These ladies were wonderful, even the new trainee. They got me in and out quickly, and even had some contacts in store for me to take home and stash away. They have amazing deals on glasses as well. I went in for an eye exam to get contacts and glasses. Everything went really smooth. All the staff were very friendly. The Dr was very thorough and efficient. They have a nice selection of frames at great prices. While there I was only looking for one pair but I ended up buying 2 for myself and 2 for my wife. Good service when ordering my new glasses. I had good frames and only needed lenses. The rep was really good putting my order together, took all measurements for my order. I recently purchased a new pair of Rayban sunglasses from this location. They are awesome!!! Jessica was very helpful in assisting me and finding me exactly what I was looking for. After I purchased my glasses I had to go back and get them tightened... YALL when I tell you the guy in the back Victor knows how to tighten glasses, they are perfect!!!!!!

Went in without my prescription, and Michelle, I think, the gorgeous black woman, helped me get it faxed to them, and within 1.5 hours, I had 2 brand new trendy frames with custom lenses for a QUARTER of the cost of the optometrist’s frames where I got my prescription 😂

Update: I came back on May 7 to get my glasses tightened. They even slipped some on my nose. They put silicone nose pieces on my glasses. They aren’t even noticeable and my glasses fit even more perfectly now. They didn’t charge me a cent, said it was complementary. I recommend this place to everyone! Absolutely LOVE the staff!!! For COVID19 safety they all wear gloves and face masks and check your temperature at the door. Love this store.Original post: This place is fantastic. I visited this store today because I needed new glasses. I had my eyes examined by Dr. Patel in the same building, he and his staff were very friendly people!The store itself made everything quite easy for me. Alex was especially helpful, she helped me pick out frames for my new glasses, explained the pros and cons of all of the options available to me.From the start of the visit with Dr. Patel, to putting my new glasses on my face only took about four hours! The lab made my new glasses on site. Very convenient.Overall very pleased, I would highly recommend nice folks if you need glasses or contacts!

I have gotten my glasses at this business for years. I am very satisfied with the service! I have transition glasses and am slightly sensitive to light. My glasses are perfect every time. I like my previous frames and they let me use them instead of buying new ones. That saved me a lot of money. I am a satisfied customer.

Kate is the absolute best!! She is was very helpful in choosing my glasses and helping me stay in budget. She insured I get the best fit in a fashionable style.

Exam was quick and pleasant, although I called ahead at 10am to make sure they would be able to make my lenses same day, well after the exam I went next door only to hear her say the lab was closed for the day. I drove from Galveston in order to get them made today.

They check ✔ temp @ door...All employees are mask and customers...I witness a customer leave and the area was wiped down throughly by employee...Sanitizer at each desk for your convenience....When i went da next day 2 pu my glasses....same routine and the young lady sanitized my glasses b4 I put on....And they are friendly...I am a hyper germicidal person but felt pretty much safe and was at ease

We have bought glasses here for my daughter and my wife in the past and have been pleased. We have been going back and forth with the Beaumont Texas locations for the better part of 6 weeks to get two pair of glasses for my wife. We had questions about products the staff should have know but couldnt answer. They have promised dates and not had the glasses ready and they never call even though they promise they will let us know when the glasses are ready. We are still trying to get my wifes glasses. I do t know that we will ever do business with Eyeglass World again.

We have been to Eyeglass World a few times now! Sarah and her staff are amazing and very friendly. They are all so helpful, I had to return a pair because I didnt like them and they were so understanding and quickly helped me find a new pair that better fit me. None of them stand over you and pressure you to buy they give you space but are there when you do have a question. I would recommend Eyeglass World to everyone very happy with them. Not to mention I got all of our glasses in a hour!!!

Holly was very patient. I wasnt able to get insurance info easily. Took awhile and not the first time did she seem agitated or in a hurry. After all the waiting I was still able to get my glasses in an hour. Also the manager was very helpful and really knowledgeable of glasses and insurance. They were great! ( Keep in mind this the 2-3 review I ever left for anyone) I highly recommend!!

Very rude employee. I have 2 insurances and have NEVER had an issue at another place and this gal responded when I told her I could use them it must be only for you in a very sarcastic tone!!!!! I did NOT appreciate it. Yes, you can use 2 insurances and if you actually had the benefit of being able to utilize that sweetie you would know. So I ended paying $350 for glasses that should have only been $150 because I just wanted to be done. She had long hair, I did not nor did I care to catch her name! Now I have to file to get reimbursed...the dr. side acted the same way. I wont be back!

I had an amazing visit here. The eye exam was easy and very thorough. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Sara and ReAnna. I drive from Houston just to go this location. I highly recommend this location for all your eye exam and eye glass/contacts needs.

Got some glasses that i thought i liked, after a week of wearing them, i hated them! Went back to the store and was able to exchange them with no problem. Great service

I called in the morning to verify they accepted VSP insurance. They told me yes so we were good to go. I show up the same day to find out they are a “preferred out of network provider” and of course my benefits would be cut in half. I walked out and went down the street to another provider. I was eager to get my glasses same day so I would have paid out of pocket if I would have know beforehand but if they can’t get their stuff together, they won’t have my business.

If I could put a negative mark on here I would. They messed up my glasses not once but 3 times. I had came in to get my glasses with transition, and I asked to get the darkest shade, I have a condition that causes me to be very sensitive to light. Well my first go back for them to fix, after I did what they told me to do, put them in the freezer for an hour. I get my glasses bk and they hadnt changed, they actually looked like someone was in a hurry and dipped the glasses in the stuff briefly and then gave them to me. Same thing the second time, I has told them of my sensitivity to the sun and bright lights. Well my glasses barely change, I skweent all the time. Oh and a few months ago the tent is coming off. Ive worn glasses since I was in 3rd grade, this place is one of the worse experiences ive ever had to deal with. I will never go back. And I will and am letting anyone, who ever, ppl kno how bad this place is. I paid $300 for these glasses and it was not worth it. I should have just went with contacts, a lil cheaper, and I have dark shades....these ppl need to be trained properly, go back and learn how to do things right the first time. That way you could actually make more money. Seriously though, your employees need better training, better qualifications and actually have better customer service skills.

I thought I had an issue that was going to be difficult to resolve - turns out - absolutely not true! I went into the Beaumont store, told them what I thought my problem was - they very graciously told me what the real problem was - and immediately it was resolved! No questions, no complaints - just resolved. Thank you all!

***Update 11/18/2018, my mother bought three pairs of glasses from them and the first pair was exceptional, they are Bolle’s and came with a hard case. When I picked up the other two pairs it was disgraceful. They refused to give her a hard case for her second pair of Bolle sunglasses and then for her beautiful Rayban eyeglasses they refused to give a Rayban case and instead gave us a clear, generic “Eyeglass World” case. Between my mother and me, we have bought 10 pairs of glasses and sunglasses from this store yet we are treated like garbage. On the plus side, the manager took care of my extended warranty sunglasses repair flawlessly and with total regard towards my needs. I am becoming to be conflicted about Eyeglass World. Amazing frames, amazing manager, and an amazing lab. Customer service is lacking and if you buy glasses of any kind you deserve the original case.Original Post:I originally bought 2 pairs here over a year ago and was happy with my purchase despite being weeks late.. they had to order the HD lenses and since I was buying them for a wedding in the Bahamas they made my frames anyway with a lesser lense so that Id have something which I appreciated. Then, I bought 5 pairs from them in the last 60 days and I love everything about them. Only thing is I had no assistance from a female sales rep until I brought which ones I wanted to her sitting at her desk. Maybe she didnt think I was a serious customer? Im sure she enjoyed her commission for doing the absolute minimum.I gave 5 stars because the frames and extended warranty are exceptional. Go see Taz when you go, hes a true sales rep who will definitely take care of you!
