If i could give this place 1 star, I would. We ran out of drive time with our logs about 4:30am and had to park at this location. At the time of our arrival, all spaces for trucks were full with other drivers sleeping, so we found a spot that wasnt keeping other customers from still getting in. As anyone who drives professionally can tell you, its illegal to run after your hours on your logs are used. Our log is electronic and transmits back to the company, so for us to keep going, thats not a possibility.While sleeping, a lady walked up to the passenger side window and knocked, after the window was rolled down, she very rudely told us we arent allowed to park there. While trying to explain to her the situation we had at the time of parking there, she again got rude and cut us off insisting that we move now. Keep in mind we still arent legally allowed to move the truck because of the electronic logs. When we called to speak with a manager, they got just as rude saying that she was doing us a favor.we are in there as customers at least 10 times a month. But we will never be back there again.

Good place to park but small. However be careful especially at night. There are thieves breaking into trucks. My box truck padlock just got cut. Luckily the truck was empty.

NO SHOWERS - one of the most important amenities for truck drivers. Small fuel islands and most of the parking spots are for bobtails. Go across the street.

Restroom not clean, no one pays attention in the facility condition.

Stay away. Although the staff is friendly and helpful the design of the parking lot is far beyond the skill and experience level of the entry level drivers that fuel here. You are also likely to be here for over an hour while one of these inexperienced drivers attempts a maneuver that isnt possible in a Semi to leave or get into one of the parking spots.

I’d give 3 stars because it wasn’t terrible, and was at least quiet, but their doors are literally COVERED in signs saying must wear mask, yet half the people walking in do’t wear them, staff have it around their chin... and coughing into hand while handling your purchase. Men’s bathroom has 2 of 3 urinals covered in plastic bags. 1 of 3 sinks broken. But the room was at least clean.

I fuel at no other place than pilot. Ive been a driver for 21 yrs and have yet to see a pilot as clean as the pilot in Channahon IL. The staff was very helpful, polite, and even engaged in a small conversation while wearing a mask and yes, he was cleaning. Thankyou to a Mrs, Coleen and a Mr, Tim for making my experience at pilot in Channahon a good one.

Just stopped in today to get my free sandwich from the order they messed up last week serving me a cold one I was told that they are not serving any food today because of lack of help they are only there for drinks and donuts. To small for Semis. Need Bigger entry sign for trucks. No parking above 10 trucks. Now the Thorntons truck stop right down the road, nicely set up. Even if it does say 2 hour parking it is 24 hour. Clean property. Havent been inside yet. Sorry pilot your beat on this one.

Place is a joke

Amazing selection of chips, candy and microwave food. About a 30 minute wait at subway. Long line. Would have stayed here but there are only about ten parking spaces. 20 miles from one of the largest cities in the world.

Pumps for truckers is dirty and needs a good deep cleaning. Card readers not working properly. Weather was okay if it was below 0 frostbite might occur.Had to go inside and do all pump info, asked why ..we dont know. Need to shut pumps down and reset. Drivers are mostly in a hurry!! Cannot exit out exit ramp as you cant turn left. Have to go back out the way you came in, tight area!!

Good stop, clean, and organized store. Clean ladies restroom. Variety of stuff/souvenirs, etc. Lots of snacks, drinks, etc to choose from. Purchased a nice book for my son. Subway, and Donkin‘ Donuts inside. Grabbed a sub to go. Very nice friendly service and staff from the Subway, and the store cashier. Subway prep area was clean, and my Sub was really good! Only issue is if you are in a semi, there’s not much room on fuel isle, stacked 3 deep. Also need a sign showing where to turn in for trucks.

They have organic coffee.

Terrible experience repeatedly. The staff is kind but the pumps do not function properly. They do not accept cards forcing you to enter the store and charge it inside. Also, they are repeatedly unable to process Pilot corporate charge cards. This has been happening for at least 1 and a half years. I have never had any such issue at the other Pilot and Flying J centers. And even though I get a savings using Pilot, I will no longer use this store. I certainly hope the truck drivers have no issues like I have experienced for this amount of time.

I went to the Subway here. As my husband is a Professional Truck Driver, I cook in the truck and sometimes buy tomatoes and onions from Subway. And this Subway Charged me $4.96 for just one onion and one tomato. That is so expensive and we went to return it a moment later and they refused. We always go to truck stops and no other Subway has ever charged us such an expensive amount before. We always go to this Subway and truck stop as it is close to our yard. Please let me know if you have a favorable resolution for this.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Every team member will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately they do not have showers at this particular location (in Channahon), BUT the employees will help locate a Pilot in the surrounding areas that best suits your route. They have a rewards system that you can earn points to take money off your items or earn free items. They also have daily riddles and brain teasers on the service desk that can earn you free items for the correct answer! It is one of the most friendly and fun truck stop/convenience stores I have ever been to! I do recommend everyone to check this place out for yourself!

A great place to stop during a long trip. Clean restrooms. An assortment of good food. Welcoming place with many gasoline and diesel pumps. Easy access from the freeway.

Typical Pilot. The pumps are usually difficult to get in and out of due to set up and people parking at them. And the parking lot has improved recently but you will still need to worry about your truck being hit from the spacing. The staff they have working here is usually very helpful and friendly, unlike some of the other Pilots in the area

This is a really small Pilot. Smallest Ive ever been to. The staff is always friendly. Pumps are good. With all the new roads and construction, its made it worse. I avoid this place only cause of the size. Its clean and nice inside though.

Nice Staff, but if you are coming to park your truck dont come here. Hardly any parking and fuel line goes out into the street. The people here are really nice thats why I go here.

Please read this entire review. It is not based upon the employees. They were super friendly and the store was very clean. This review is based upon a professional semi truck driver. This store is ill-equipped for semi truck traffic. There is limited parking and exiting is dangerous. In order to lawfully exit the station you have to flip a u-turn and wait 10 to 15 minutes before you have the opportunity to make a legal left hand turn back towards the Interstate. Trucks exiting the gas station and making a U-turn where it is posted not to are doing so unlawfully and Dangerously. For this reason I rate this station a 1-star for professional truck drivers. The subway is open 24 hrs. And the people r courteous. They dont have showers though. Parking is hard 2 acquire.

This place is going down hill fast... Coffee was burnt and nasty only 1 person working trying to clean stock and be at the register... Bathroom was falling apart with pieces missing out of the wall and stained toilets from the water... No fresh warm food... The list goes on and on... This pilot seriously needs an update before they lose all business to the new truck stop down the street!

Clean Store, fast service, convenient location BUT... A really disappointed hygiene issue for drivers.. And convenient for the attendents and management... 1 out of 3 men toilets is in working ? or put in function condition ? Less toilets working less to clean?... In more disadvantage to the drivers who actually is the reason why this place is open and have employees...No drivers, no trucks, no fuel= no store= no jobs.

Good selection of product. Friendly staff. Bathrooms were not to bad, they did need restocked tho. The floors were a bit nasty. The showers ARE NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR 2..... The person at the front said they were and she LIED!!! Tere big enough if someone sits on the toilet while the other showers then stand on the sink to let the next one get in. Id estimate the showers to be @ 4X4.

The worst Pilot I have ever encountered... No showers, no WiFi, no hot snacks, just Subway and Dunkin donuts... I was stuck there for 30 hrs and it sucked!!!

Not a Pilot that fits the description of what youve come too expect. It has no showers and the lot is quite small. It has several regular parking spaces up front and 25 semi spots in back.You enter from the rear for truck diesel (go past the station and make the first right) and it backs up for quite a distance during the day. On this particular visit several things had out of order signs in the coffee/drink area and there was no hot water to wash out your Philmor or make oatmeal, etc. There is a Dunkin and Subway attached so overall its good for a quick fuel stop in a regular vehicle, but youll need some patience in a semi. Look elsewhere for RV parking.

Pump 1 does Not work, when it ask you if you have rewards it will not let you pass that part. I went inside to tell them about the problem she said “oh we know you have to pay inside” ok well if you know then put a sign on the pump saying that you have to go inside to pay.

THANKFULLY Id been able to find a few coffee pots that ONLY had VERY warm water in them bc of how I was trying to make a cup of green tea,. & Im sorry for NOT even being able to remember the name of the guy who was helping us, I LOVED how hed been trained VERY well & was ALSO a little OVER friendly= BRIGHTENED my day!!!!!!

Cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in a truck stop

Lot is small, no easy access back to the freeway from the truck stop if your in a semi, and the pumps werent working yesterday, but the people inside are friendly, and its a normal pilot, with a Subway and Dunkin donuts inside, which is nice.

No scale no showers no laundry no easy access in and off the highway barely any parking only 4 fuel pumps. most ridiculous pilot in the universe!!! Avoid at all costs. There is a pilot 8 miles away west on 80. The best thing they can do is bulldoze this place down and build a loves. If there was a rating below poor this would deserve it.

My only complaint is that there is no power outlets in the subway/Dunkin area. Staff are superb as always

Husband just bought reefer fuel. Police had already stopped on truck and most likely gave a ticket to him. There is NO LEFT TURN out of this place. It is posted no left turn he says and they have one large sign which is bigger than the rest that states this fact. You have to turn Right, to go back to I-80.I am not sure if you can go any other way to get back onto I-55 S besides circling all over creation to get back to 55.Guess the traffic is pretty heavy there at times, making it impossible to turn left safely. This no left turn policy is a policy in a lot of areas. They need to put in a light maybe to control the traffic, no truck traffic coming out, the light stays green. It is a great revenue maker for this town if you dont follow the rules.

No showers. Only enough parking for about 12 trucks. All the spots were already full at 4:30. AVOID THIS PILOT. They need to buy the vacant lot next door, expand the parking, and put in some showers.

Its a small truck stop, as expected up north, but the people are friendly as far as I observed. I didnt get that I hate you, youre a trucker attitude. As far as the smell that one review refers to; Its just the smell of rubber, from the truck and truck steering wheel accessories that is hanging right next to the truckers entrance.

As a truck driver and patron this Pilot has to be the worst Ive ever come across as far as accessibility and exiting the premises. On top of that the inside is dirty and very uncleanly for patrons.

Internet was good here, parking extremely small. Excellent if you are Bob tailing but if you have a semi trailer its tight but doable to fuel. about 15 semitrailer parking spots. no showers. Subway and dunkin donuts, trucker store. I highly recommend it for Bob tailin. Also super clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

Big, clean, tons of food options and services. I always look for Pilot centers to stop at when Im on the road, and this one was clean and the workers gave service with a smile.

Sounds horrible, I give it 1 star and never even went there because of all the negative reports!! Wish I could give it 0, thats bad!! I was closer to this one, but I went to the one in Minooka instead as suggested by one of the reviewers. Best advice ever. They have the best employees Ive seen in a truck stop.Especially Chrissy, they make you feel like a king!!!
