Seeing some of the bad reviews...man, I really wish people understood what a one star review can do to a small business. Especially a small business like K&A Bagels with a high volume and smaller staff due to COVID-19 - give these guys a break!Regardless, I truly believe this place has some of the best bagels. The staff is always incredibly nice and the bagels are all freshly made and so freakin’ delicious. You have to visit this place if you’re in area! I’m a harsh critic and I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Been twice for my usual breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, tomato), and was happy each time. This visit, though, I took a moment to look at their menu and WOAH - what an awesome-looking menu! Very eager to come back for one of their own creations. Sidenote: the everything bagels are generously coated and delicious!

The bagel itself was good, but the pork roll egg cheese sandwich was really bad, really dry and flavorless. I’m kind of confused about all the great reviews on this place. Maybe it’s the pandemic, or maybe I just caught them on a bad day.

After a few attempts I was able to reach someone by phone to call in a order. I paid for the bagel got in the car and realized I didnt have a receipt which I needed. Called to ask for a receipt the person on the phone appeared to have an attitude when I explained to her that I needed a receipt. When she brought the receipt out to me she had a look on her face as if she was angry, I thanked her for the receipt she did not respond and abruptly walked away. I started going to the shop a few months ago, this iisst time Ive had this experience the cashier is very friendly I always give her a.

Im a bagel junkie and this has been the best bagel Ive had in months since moving out this way. It was crunchy and soft with delicious strawberry cream cheese. The prices are affordable and I shall be going back. Worth the drive from philly for these bagels. ☺

I had a very minor and understandable issue with an order recently, and the owners went above and beyond what was necessary in order to make it right. They know how to treat their customers, and they make high quality food. K&A will continue to be my go-to spot for bagels and more!

Excellent bagels! The staff was so friendly and so cheerful...made me feel right at home. Nice selection of bagels and flavored cream cheeses, both savory and sweet. I knew I picked the right bagel shop when I saw the line of people waiting to buy bagels. This is a popular place! I’ve been going since they opened. When they first opened I thought, “oh no another chain store bagel spot.” I learned that the initials are for the husband and wife who own and run it. In my opinion these are the best bagels in South Jersey and rival some of the well known bagel spots that North Jersey is known for. Perfect crunch to chew ratio 👍😉. Ordered et bagel toasted with cream cheese which was right. Then ordered a et bagel toasted w bacon egg and cheese and they gave me a orange bagel with Canadian bacon not toasted. Like how can you mess that up when I walk in the store and tell you a two bagel order lol I guess I shouldn’t have tipped but that’s $15 down the drain.

As a former New Yorker, uncompromising foodie and lover of bagels, I have never had bagels this perfect—even in New York—even from H & H, Brooklyn—anywhere!.Accidentally discovered, I bought a mere 6.Next time, I’ll buy for us and family.Bravo!

It was first visit to K&A bagel. I wanted to take my mom out for breakfast. We expected fresh bagel from this place. We had lox and cream cheese on everything bagel. But bagel was hard. I also ordered lightly toasted bagel. But they weren’t toasted and very cold. My mom said her bagel was hard too. I was little disappointed. Coffee was good.

Some of the best bagels around! All the bagels and cream cheese flavors are made in house and taste absolutely amazing! If great tasting food isn’t enough I guarantee you’ll appreciate the staff who are all very welcoming and tend to recognize the small stuff. Best bagels in the South Jersey area. They cook everything fresh unlike half of the other places in cherry hill. If there is a long line it moves fast the place is just popular.

Really enjoy K & A Bagel Cafe. Their bagels are good, the cream cheese is good. Service can be slow at times, but its never been a big issue for me. Their cold brew coffee is addicting. I havent really tried much else, but Im definitely a happy repeat customer.

Quick service, top quality bagels, owner is serious about covid 19 and has occupancy limits and observes social distancing with adequate markings, i drive specifically 12 miles from medford every chance possible..local competitor is also highly rated but i do not and have not enjoyed their bagels, and they dont observe social distancing or mask wearing (also they microwave their eggs,),K&A Bagel Cafe is a business I will stand behind, over equally ranked establishments, that are much closer to me. I started going here on my way to work. Im glad I did. The bagels are great. They have a new one I want to try too, spinach asiago. I usually just grab a bagel sandwich and Im never disappointed. They have coffee and drinks as well. Its a nice place to stop while youre on the go.

Our new favorite bagel place! The bagels are just the right thickness to make a great breakfast sandwich and the coffee is delicious. The cheddar bagel is my favorite! And the folks behind the K and the A are usually there working the counter so you know its really a family-run business that makes them proud. Highly recommend!

Great bagels when you can get them. Friendly owner when he or his staff does get around to acknowledging you. Getting served NOT so good - wait time is just ridiculous even when there is relatively no one in the store. either get a better POS system that your staff can figure out OR have better trained front-end staff. STOP training people on the job during prime times! This is the second time I have left your store not being able to be acknowledged or served after waiting 10-20 minutes.

How can you ruin a breakfast sandwich and a guys 1st impression after his girlfriends been raving about the bagels and food? Use the cheapest and thinnest slices of turkey bacon possible and then burn it to an absolute crips! Two stars because the everything bagel was everything!

The service is outstanding and its a great way to start the day. The prices are insanely cheap, but so is the portion of lox on the lox bagel. I could pay a little more to see a more generous portion, but otherwise excellent. It might seem silly, but not everyone can follow directions these days. They produced exactly what I asked for with a smile. It doesnt get better than that first thing in the morning. Plus it didnt break my bank. Manhattan bagel is across the street and they have lost a customer to K & A for good.

This places bagels are amazing. They always taste fresh and got some good flavors to choose from especially the specials. They have Cinnamon raisin, jalapeno, chocolate chip, french toast, blueberry, and other flavored bagels. Love their cream cheeses too. Taste authentic. Makes me not wanna ever buy bagels from the local grocery store like Walmart again. Only downside is yes since youre buying really fresh bagels, they will be a little pricey. A whole dozen is $11.99 and a half dozen costs $5.99. To me, its worth it though.

I find that the type of bagel you like is very personal. I prefer a chewy bagel. So for me, K & A makes the best. Their bagels are freshly made, not frozen, and hand rolled. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars however is because they are hand rolled. The shape is inconsistent making it a little difficult to make a perfect looking lox and bagel sandwich. This doesn’t affect the taste.

Best bagels in the area after searching for 1.5 years. Good flavor, dense bagels, toasted just right. Good variety on the menu and it is quaint with good atmosphere. The Italian coffee is also really good that I might stop to grab a cup.

Overall the bagels are delicious! Best in the area. My only complaint is that they always mess up to go orders. A few coworkers and I rotate getting breakfast sandwiches every Friday and there always seems to be one bagel that is wrong!

One of the best bagel spots in South Jersey

I came in 2 hours before they closed with no plan besides getting a dozen bagel for friends. They happily offered me a dozen bagels for half the price with their weekday special during the last hour before they close. Not only that, they included 2 half pound containers of cream cheese. I thanked them happily for all this and they even threw in an additional half dozen into my bag! My total was only the cost of half a dozen bagel and I walked out of there with a very large bag of bagels! Will come back!

FRFR best bagels/breakfast in Cherry Hill, NJ. I have eaten breakfast here for 15 straight weeks! Bagels are cooked on location, they have amazing specialty cream cheeses, staff is friendly, nitro cold brew wakes you up in seconds. SO much to love about this place. Definitely check it out!

I know I wrote this comment underneath 2 years ago, but boy, did COVID really messed up some of these Mom and Pop restaurants. I went there to get 3 bagels. 1 plain bagel lightly toasted with strawberry spread and 2 French toast with cream cheese. When I got home, I got the plain correct but the french toast without anything just plain. The funny part I got charged for having cream cheese plus I left tip in cash. The inconvenience to get up and drive to order your breakfast just to come home and find that issue. I never had an issue here but really, just one person working g behind the counter as well, smh never had an issue at this place but gosh COVID messed a lot of these restaurants. All to help these local restaurants just to deal with these headaches. By our third visit, our order (pork roll, egg and cheddar on toated everything bagel) was already memorized and accompanied by genuine greetings and salutations. Loyalty is rewarded and newcomers are always welcomed quickly into the fold of delectables.
