I used Classic Cakes for my wedding at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel last week. They were so helpful with helping us understand that a wedding cake needs to be sturdy and therefore, we needed to choose a dense cake flavor that we liked. We chose the lemon pound cake with raspberry. I got MULTIPLE compliments that this was the best wedding cake my guests have ever eaten. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Not the same Classic I have been a customer of for 30+ years. No longer a costumer. Ordered a birthday cake a week in advance. Picked up in Cherry Hill location and was informed upon arrival that their Pastry Bag was broken and could not write Happy Birthday (which was requested when making the order). REALLY? Called the mgr the next day and received lots of excuses. I was told the Owner would call me. That’s 2 weeks ago. Guess he just doesn’t care. I’ll go to Sweet Eats from now on.

Pickup a birthday cake today, and 2 slices of there cheese cake, both where delicious.Would definitely be back again.Great place for birthday cakes, and there Cheese cakes.

After a very bad experience with a bakery in Burlington last year, we needed (though weary) of a new place to have a custom made cake for our sons Paw Patrol themed party. From the call to the cake, the customer service was splendid. Sharon was very responsive and courteous over the phone and email to ensure our vision came to life. We were still nervous however were very satisfied with the end result. The cake tasted good as well. Looking forward to trying other items from this bakery.

Saw this company covered on the local news and decided to place an order for thanksgiving thought it would be a nice treat. The order was incorrect and was missing some of what was ordered. Wouldn’t recommend ordering unless you enjoy freezer burned food. Very disappointing....

Although the store is in a remodeling process, they are still delivering great quality of products and service.

I do not see a way to place an order thru the website. Also, I see no nutritional information on the website - an informed consumer wants to know what is the food - is it fresh, organic, or laden with chemicals and no better than what can be obtained at a regular grocery bakery.

I reserved my wedding cake a year in advance and when I called a week before my wedding no one could find my order.. It was a good thing I called to confirm. So unprofessional.Also what a disappointment walking into my wedding not seeing the cake I ordered. They did not deliver what I requested and I even gave them an exact photo to copy.Worst part is my husband and I cannot enjoy the top of our cake on our one year anniversary. They did not leave my wedding caterer a box to store it properly. We ended up having to wrap it in paper plates and plastic wrap...basically ruining it.Such a shame, cannot trust this company. I tried to email them to resolve privately but no response.

1st time here right before closing. This place is absolutely amazing. Theyre helpful and friendly. The desserts are gorgeous and the taste is perfect. Worth the trip for my comfort food. Thanks!!

Once again Robert Bennett of Classic Cake is the talk of the event! My stepdaughters wedding was 6/15/19. I’m so happy I had Classic Cake prepare the Venetian table. Everyone raved about every piece on the table. Of course, my favorite is always the macaroons. We had them in every color and flavor!! Robert also made the fabulous cake for my stepdaughters wedding shower. He handmade the edible dragonfly ornaments for the cake, it was spectacular. I received so many compliments on how fabulous it tasted and how beautiful it looked. We’ve used Classic Cake many times in the past and would highly recommended them for any occasion you want the best professional service and fabulous pastries. I ordered my baby shower cake from them! Mrs Sharon took care of all the details and made sure the cake came out exactly as I hoped! She gave us a box of 6 sample of cakes to choose the flavor! I loved the Lemon cake the most and that’s what the cake was made from! Great experience! Reasonable price and friendly stuff!

By far the best gelato and bakery in the area!!! Highly recommend the coconut pineapple gelato!! Great assortment of pastries and beautiful presentation. Very kind service. The chocolate covered cheesecake is perfection on a platter. I’m from New York and travel quite a bit looking for good bakeries. Most bakeries I try to find something I will like at this bakery it was hard to pick from all the things I wanted. Classic Cakes is a gem!! Will defiantly be back. It’s worth the drive.

I have purchased from classic cake in the past and the cakes were always delicious cupcakes were great. Recent experience with them has not been that good. I noticed the slice cakes have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. This past weekend I purchased a wedding cake two tiers yellow and white flowers. It was pretty but tastes horrible. It was so dry it was supposed to be lemon cake with a raspberry filling it tastes more like lemon cornbread it was so dry. The icing was overly sweet and very greasy. To pay $300 for a wedding cake and have half the guests leave their slices on the table left me feeling very disappointed. The cake was my wedding gift to my cousin. She didnt even bother to save the piece for their anniversary. It was not good at all. Total waste of money and did not contribute to making my cousins wedding day memorable

The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly! My husband and I ordered a cake from here for our wedding day and we worked with Kristina to decide the style and flavors. We chose a 3 tier, 3 flavored cake and each flavor was delicious! The design was gorgeous and Classic Cakes truly lived up to its reputation and our expectations for quality! We couldnt have been happier and were blown away by the customer service.

My wife picked up cupcakes today to celebrate our 5 year anniversary since we got our cake here for our wedding. One of them was Carmel Apple and it taste like straight up chemicals. I immediately spit it out as I thought I put Windex in my mouth. Something was seriously wrong with that cupcake and I cant believe they would sell something not knowing it taste like that. The rest of the cupcakes were okay but not worth the $3 for 2 bites you get.

My first time there, everyone working was very friendly and polite! They had 2 samples out and they encouraged me to try both. I left with 2 cupcakes which my husband and I enjoyed later that night. Can’t wait to go back!

I bought cupcakes for us to enjoy after dinner...To our regret the cupcakes were bone dry...We were looking for a cake for our daughters 10th birthday but those cupcakes made us move on from Classic Cakes..Sweet Eats is much better. Dont waste your time on dry, tasteless cupcakes..

I have attended a few bridal shows and sampled Classic Cake there and fell in love! It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Other bakeries cakes were dry or the icing was terrible, but Classic Cakes was perfect! Unfortunately I cant use them for my wedding cake because my venue is contracted with another bakery, but I ordered a sheet cake from them for my sons communion party. Just as amazing as the samples I tasted! Everyone loved the cake and I will always order from here!

Ive got 3 cakes from them thus far and I have been in love with every single one! From taste to design, they always get it right. And they are really affordable! Will continue buying their cakes!

My daughter love this place and in this store the gelato is really good. We recommend before to a lot of friends. One of the chefs in Voorhees store has excellent customer service. For me the cakes are to sweet. After two years don’t have any problems just few weeks ago. When I ordered the birthday cake to my daughter. She wants velvet cake. Anyway the service and everything was good. Just we saw when I was cutting the cake is a cook paper inside. For me is so gross and I feel dissatisfied about it. Two days later I were to the store and talk with the manager and show her the video and she gives me apologizing and refund the money of my cake. After this happened I feel I little nervous but my daughter love the cakes in here. This is the reason to gave them three stars. Because most of the time the service and quality was good but no always.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was the maid of honor in my best friends wedding and they did the COMPLETE WRONG CAKE. I called the day of the wedding to tell them that the bride was devastated and we needed to handle the situation and they said they would call Monday. It is now TWO WEEKS after the wedding and they dodge the calls and will not work with us. They informed the bride that they had to see where the issue was and where it went wrong before they can move forward. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO MESSED UP NOT HER. This is by far the worst customer service. If you are getting married, I strongly suggest that you STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Bought a gluten free wedding cake here one year ago. It was delicious. Just had the one year anniversary piece that was frozen and it was still delicious! Wed happily buy from Classic Cake again.

I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my sister bridal shower. They taste like they were made from the box mix and don’t look like anything I wanted. Sooooooo disappointing and it was so over priced for the quality of the products I got. Never going here ever again.

Kristina from Classic cakes has always gone over and beyond to make sure that my Daughter has had the most amazing cakes ever!! People wait to see her cake every year it has been the talk on FB.. she makes my visions come to life.. her input is amazing in style, size, filling, colors.. she is now located in the philly store but I still contact her to make my daughters dream cake.. when she said I will take care of you that is what she means!! Classic cake is truly amazing!! Voorhees location the staff is always so friendly, and accommodating.. you can’t go wrong when you order from here if you are not satisfied they will make it right.. and the Taste is Yummy!!! No better place for the cheese cake and the cupcakes...special thanks to Kristina as always you are the Best!

I had purchase a cake, cup cakes on Tuesday March 18 2019. The cake went stale and so where the cup cakes after one day! What a waste! 48.00 dollars down the drain!!

Planning an event and dont have time to bake. Got several different items to try. AMAZING!!!!! I had a bite of everything I got. Fantastic!!!!!!

HORRIBLE! I ordered a 10inch cake that was supposed be chocolate cake, chocolate icing, & salted caramel filling.. The cake filling tasted overwhelmingly like coffee/mocha & the chocolate icing was bland.After meeting with one of the store managers & bringing several slices of leftover cake into the bakeshop to allow them to taste their own mistake they basically told me that I was delusional & the cake filling was definitely salted caramel.. I spent $85 on that cake & after days of talking to managers I demanded a 50% refund for all the trouble.. My last resort was contacting the main office in Philly, where the owner of Classic Cakes offered me a $85 store credit. I politely declined the offer & let him know that I wouldnt be a customer there any longer.. Boy, he was not happy to hear that! The owner reluctantly agreed to giving me the 50% refund right before hanging up the phone in my ear.. I highly suggest sample tasting before ordering from this bakery to save yourself the money & disappointment..But on a lighter note, the fake cakes that were set up on display throughout the store were very impressive, good thing no one has to eat them!

After watching a segment on CBS News featuring Classic Cake, I felt compelled to purchased the Cherry Bomb. My wife and I shared it on Valentines Day and this cake was awesome.

Fresh, delicious cake and friendly staffSlides, whole cakes, they had a really great tasting GF cake before but I believe thats custom order. The pastry chef frequently changes things up but classics remain as well. Strawberry shortcake is really good here, limoncello, chocolate mousse, ... They offer gelato and chocolate section as well.Nice little outside seating area at the back of the center so its quiet.They usually offer free samples at the register which also makes it easy for me to decide.Iced coffee and a few menu items along with a small refrigerator of drinks as well.Tir Na Nog for app or dinner but save room for dessert here.

Came to the store which has hours posted online as well as on the door to get a cake and they were closed 15 minutes early. When hours are posted you as a company who sell to customers should have been open until the posted time! Totally unacceptable!!!
