I have shopped at several different locations of East Meets West throughout the years, and generally love the store and the selection of goods.However, my experience yesterday was the worst I’ve ever had at any of their locations.Despite being the only customers in the store, my party and I were not greeted when we came in, even though there was a salesperson on the floor.I saw a sign that said “50% of all leather wallets”, so I picked one out. I also grabbed a few other items.When I was checking out, the item rang up higher than 50%. The salesperson said that it had already been marked down and that was the price. I pointed out that the markdown price ($15) was still higher than 50% of the original price ($25) and should have been $12.50, according to the sign.She was extremely rude and arrogant, and kept repeating that “it was already marked down, so you knew what price you should be paying”. (Apparently, they were a mind reader who knew my thoughts better than myself?)If the sign said 50% off, that’s what I expected to pay. Honestly, the couple of extra dollars wasn’t a big deal, but the way the salesperson talked to me and their attitude was unnecessary and off putting.If a salesperson is going to be rude and short with customers, they might want to reconsider their choice of job. Management at this location should provide further coaching and training to their employees, and take misleading signs off of the sales floor.

Beautiful store!!! Melissa is amazing 🙂 Shes very knowledgeable about everything and makes you feel at ease!! Its because of her that Ive been back over 5 times in about 6 weeks and will continue to do so. Bought my first tarot cards here!!

I love this store so much !! First of all all the employees are so nice !! And it smells amazing in the store they have incenses for a good price !! I recommend the fizzy pop incense and dragons blood !!
