Looooove this place! It’s super cozy great vibe and AMAZING coffee/treats. We used to live in the area and still come back from time to time to visit the downtown area. Track 5 is in a great little corner of town and has lots of seating indoor and outdoor. The line might look long ( because that’s how great they are) but it moves quickly. The staff is super friendly and always on top of things!

Ive been to Track 5 a lot and really loved it. However, its changed quite a bit and I dont think Ill be going back. The quality of their coffee and food is still good. The staff was politeness, as usual. Its the atmosphere thats changed over the last year or so. I feel the most important issue was the music. It was so loud that I couldnt have a conversation with my friend without speaking loudly or leaning over. Other patrons were having the same problem. I was embarrassed that I recommended that we go there for coffee to relax and catch-up. I dont get to go there very often these days so I was very disappointed. I may try again at some point but not anytime soon.

The coffee IS ALWAYS great. Ive truly never had a subpar coffee from here in the 4 years Ive frequented. Their pastry and mini sandwich selection is pretty big as well. And the all the staff are so kind and happy to be there.

My boyfriend and I just moved around the area about 3 months ago and this is ultimately our most fav spot we found! We WFH so its nice to able to take a few min drive into the main city and go in a grab a coffee. Usually the lines are out the door in the morning and lunch time, so be prepared for that but the lines usually go by fast. I usually dont wait more than 5 mins to have my coffee prepared. The workers are super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend the special coffees like caramel craziness and the milky way latte, its our go tos! Def great vibes in there so if you can grab a spot to sit down and enjoy the coffee, youll understand why we love the place so much!

Their coffee is fantastic and the employees are extremely kind. I ordered a coffee this morning for pickup at 6:30 not realizing they didnt open until 7. I wasnt able to get my coffee at 7:10 as the email that came back dictated. I called when they opened and a worker named Jenny answered the phone. I explained the situation and asked if I could pick up my coffee at 8:45 instead when I would be available. She said absolutely and that she would make me a new one so the ice wasnt melted; she did exactly so. I am very impressed with this care for the customer and I will be a frequent customer here moving forward; I recommend Track 5 to everyone. This is how a service business should be operated!

This is the #1 coffee spot… change my mind. Nothing beats them. Any time I get coffee somewhere else I think, “not as good as Track 5.”They have a big assortment of blends/roasts for sale for making coffee at home. I like trying the different kinds and also giving them as gifts.Their coffee has always made me buzz- it’s very strong! I’ll get a small dark roast and I’m amped, meanwhile a giant Dunkin’ Donuts hardly does a thing.

Hands down the best quality coffee and baristas in the area! The staff members always remember your name and send out positive vibes, which definitely helps start your day in a good mood.

In the menu they have only 2 kinds of coffees expresso and Black coffee, they dont offer me other kind of coffee! They HAVE a lot of kinds of coffees! I knew! Anyways the coffee was delicious!

Oh how I love this cafe. It’s so cozy. Everyone is so nice. And the mocha lattes are amazing. They converse with you while you wait so customer service is important to them. Great management and employees. Enough seating to study or hang out, free wifi, and generous amount of outlets spread out. Highly recommend not just for the coffee and treats but for the experience!

Track 5 is a victim of their own success. Their coffee *is* above average, but they are popular more due to their location and past performance. In fact, Ive spent time there in years past before moving into the area recently and it was nice.Their solutions to the current business demands of covid has created a consumer hostile environment well beyond other stores. The loyal regulars may be used to submitting exclusively web orders as their staff is too busy to take them over the phone or in person.Anyone not on a schedule or desperate for coffee will be entirely disappointed by the price, service and unreasonably entitled attitude of the staff.Update: Part of reviewing is staying up to date. I heard that Track 5 has updated their methods, we did go by and had some coffee and pastries. Ive updated from one to four stars. Im happy with the new experience and will return.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Union County. I love the atmosphere of this place. When you walk in, the employees greet you with a smile. All the coffee Ive tried here is amazing. The music can be a little bit loud sometimes, but it is still a great place to study.

I love Track 5 Coffee. The staff is amazing and they always greet you with a smile. Drinks taste great and they did a great job adjusting to these difficult times with their pick up system. Their website is easy to use. Just letting people know just in case they dont already: you cant order in-store.

Great local coffee shop with friendly and efficient staff. Espresso drinks and bakery items are very tasty here. Also, sometimes they draw a heart on my receipt and it makes me smile :) Parking can be a little busy, but its not a problem if just picking up an online order.

Very friendly staff. Coffee beans taste very rich in flavor. You can tell they were ground recently or stored in a tightly sealed container for maximum freshness. Nice vibe and close to the train station. I left 2 stars because I was hoping to make a quick stop and waited 30min for a coffee. I followed up with my order after about 15min but they told me as well as everyone else itll be out shortly. I wouldve honestly just asked for a refund but it seemed more trouble than its worth since you have to place your order thru their website. It is over $5 for a 30min coffee though. Not worth it to me.

This review is for the hot vanilla dirty chai tea latte with almond milk --- 5 stars!! YUM. I havent tried anything else yet, but would definitely recommend the DCT. I have tried many many many dirty chai tea lattes and this one so far is the best!

When I am home in Jersey this is my go to place hands down . I constantly bring new friends here to introduce them and then they can only rave about it too. Really impressed with the contactless ordering during the pandemic and fluidity with the service . I also just shout out how I’ve always had the loveliest interactions with the staff - they want to make sure they get your order right .

The absolute best coffee spot. If you aren’t lining up for coffee on a Saturday or Sunday morning at Track 5 you’re doing something wrong.We’ve tried so many different coffees and the Kona Blend is the most superior, even against the “big guys.” The Baja breakfast sandwich is a fan favorite in our family, along with the sprinkle donut!

Very nice people and well organized for covid.But I have to be honest, coffee wasnt the best. Ordered medium roast drip coffee and was similar to dark burnt coffee taste from Starbucks.Edit: thanks for clarifying and maybe I got a bad one. Will give it another try next time!

I usually dont leave reviews, but I had to today.When paying for my coffee today, one one of the baristas (I think Im using the right word) Laura was so sweet. She recommended me the best pastry (the apple pastry was delicious), but she did something even more for me.Asian hate in this country has been prevalent lately, and the micro-aggressions have been real. A few weeks ago, I was told by a person that my name should have been some English name and why dont they just Americanize your name, and have felt ashamed about my name. When I paid for my coffee, Laura asked how to pronounce my Chinese name Shuxian. I told her, how she could call me by my American middle name: Vanessa. She then was so kind enough to tell me how beautiful my Chinese name was, and when presented with my order, she called me Shuxian. As small of a gesture as it was, I was so overwhelmed with how that made me feel during this time. She made me feel my name was important today, and that I felt important today :)Track Five coffee is my NEW favorite place! Thank you for your awareness during this time for AAPIs

I never write reviews but seeing as this used to be my favorite coffee shop I thought Id give my honest opinion. This place used to be awesome and so friendly until one day there was a complete staff overhaul. I was talking to one of the old employees and once hearing what happened I have a whole new outlook of this place. The owner doesnt seem to value and appreciate his employees very much. Ever since the change the coffee quality is subpar at best. Theres still one good barista and she works in the mornings but thats about it.If you have come here in the past couple years and youve had an experience where you walk in and someone smiles and greets you by name then youre lucky, that doesnt happen anymore. IF you get a hello or how are you its superficial and none of the employees make conversation like they used to.Anywho this is a long-winded way of saying dont support businesses that dont respect their employees.

Im not coffee person, but I got Cinnamon Bun Latte, and it was good.The customer service is not that much great, I waited more than 15 minutes. You order online, and they should send you a message when your order is ready, but I didnt get a message. I went back in front of the store, I didnt not get called. At the end, I went to the cashier and asked if my order is ready! And it was ready from a while, it was a little cold!

This is my favorite coffee shop. Ive been to many coffee shops, but Track 5 takes the cake. The employees here are some of my favorite people. You always feel a part of the community when you come here. You almost want to hide this place from other people finding out about it.

My family/friends and I get coffee here Very often and we love it(very pricey) but we are disappointed that not only has their system not been collecting our drink Points for 2.5 months since lockdown but we are also not able to claim any of our free drinks we had prior to. We support you, show appreciation to your customers.

Track 5 is one of my favorite places. The coffee is top notch and although I order pour overs frequently, their house coffee and their Kona blend is exceptional. Great drink menu. Awesome pastries. What really gives this place the sterling review is the cozy, but modern atmosphere that is simultaneously a great place to read quietly or converse with a friend. The environment lends itself to both without intruding on the low energy vibe of the place. When the weather is nice, sitting out front with your dog is one of the best ways to spend your morning. Great, upscale crowd. The crowning achievement of the place is the staff. They are extremely well trained. And they all learn and memorize your name if you’re even semi-regular. The extra effort like that is what separates this place from anywhere else.

We had a nice time. Oddly enough everything was really good except the coffee. Im a black coffee drinker and the medium roast was too dark. Their morning Glory muffin was awesome. Their ham and cheese croissant was very good.

Ordered a flat white coffee from here with the contactless pick up system. Very efficient and friendly staff who were keeping distance and wearing masks. Overall, a solid flat white, but a smaller than expected cup and very steep for Cranford prices - it’s what I expect from my coffee shop in Manhattan!

Once known as Rock n Joe, this local coffee shop got a new name, more space and an expanded menu, while maintaining their dedication to quality, support of local vendors and warm atmosphere.Theyre perfectly located next to the Cranford train station which makes it supremely convenient to grab some caffeine and something delicious to make my tummy happy both coming and going in the AM and PM.Not ones to rest on their laurels, fall behind the times or to become stagnant, theyre currently revamping their pastry offerings and their newly expanded vegan friendly and gluten free baked goods are fantastic! Seriously, you cant tell theyre not the regular stuff!

The coffee is good at Track 5. Strong but not bitter. Great seating areas, friendly service. However...they have a rewards program where you earn a free cup of coffee after a certain number of purchases. In the past, you could accumulate these reward visits over time. Now these rewards EXPIRE if you dont use them within a set number of days. I visit Cranford once or twice a month, so all my rewards expire before I can use them.

The place has an amazing vibe, the coffee and service were second to none. Even got to meet the owner, very nice person. Going back with my daughter and son in law.
