WORST WORST in store experience Ever. I heard the store sales gossiped at a customer on the phone when I was browsing the store. I also have to wait to check out in front of the cashier when they are busy at chatting and laughing. Customers were treated in rude manners. I do not know where the company got hired such bunch of mean people with a minimum of custody manner . Also, the store manager is very disrespectful to people. I felt sorry for how they treat their customer, and felt bad for Estee Lauder have hired her as an employee. I will never come back to the store in that location again. It was very Very unpleasant and shocked experience.
The worst experience I’ve ever had with any retail store. Employee named Victoria was extremely rude, condescending, and a liar. I made a purchase of over $100 the night before and one of my items was broken. I called immediately the morning after once I realized the product was broken. I spoke to someone on the phone that told me I can come and exchange it for the same item. I was not trying to get a refund or exchange for a different product. When I came in to the store to make the change, Victoria was there again. She stated that company policy was to check the items before selling to consumer and apparently it was fine when she checked “before I left the store” (accusatory tone). However she did not open a single item plus that exact product was in my hand and she simply rang it up. My friend who was with me also confirmed that she did not check any of the items and was handed the additional items from her colleague. Instead of being honest and apologetic, she lied to our faces and in front of her coworker/manager. I told her I did not drive 2 hours from Queens for one simple product unless it was damaged to begin with. She replies, “Queens is only an hour away”. Clearly Ms. Victoria is ignorant regarding NYC traffic including the size of Queens. The store is dirty, products displayed are also disorganized and filthy. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully in any retail store. If this is their company policy then they need to rethink how they provide customer service to their consumers.
I am beyond words with the exceptional professional manner that Victoria expressed when i was shopping. She was extremely knowledgeable and very patient when asked a million questions which i always have lol... I highly recommend asking for Victoria when you need assistance. Will be buying more products from here!!!!!
I am very unhappy with this store and its salespeople. They pretend to be less expensive than the department stores. Instead their sticker prices are the same as the department stores and when they have a promotion the items cannot be returned even for store credit and even if they are defective. I bought two lipsticks (Clinique Pop Lip Shadow) and I was told they were in their store because of being overstocked at department stores. This was FALSE. These lipsticks were discontinued by Clinique because customers hated them, they are messy, and defective. Many of this stores items are the rejects from the department stores.
This store is ridiculous, stood over an hour on a 6 person line, while 3 customers were allowed to roam the store without any time limits. Very poorly run. I saw atleast 10 customers get off the line and leave. While tbe 3 customers in tbe store were accomodated .
I am specifically writing this review because I encountered a TREASURE OF A HUMAN BEING when I shopped at river head outlets a few weeks ago named Victoria. I went in with my husband just to get a foundation to match my skin tone because I clearly did not know how to find the right foundation on my own :( . She recommended DOUBLE WEAR BY ESTEE LAUDER I AM SO PLEASED ! IT absolutely matched me perfectly and covered my HUGE pores that I do not like!!she recommended two different shades one for the summer and one for the winter :)I know my shade is DOUBLE WEAR 3W2/ 3W1.5! I bought two of each. Victoria recommended BOBBI BROWN SMOOTHING PORE PERFECTOR let me TELL YOU! I FEEL CONFIDENT THEY covered my HUGE PORES and little holes on my cheeks that I truly DISLIKE!. I feel confident, beautiful to say the least.Victoria told me she will be leaving that location to go back to DEER PARK OUTLETS! guess what?! I FOLLOWED HER TO THAT LOCATION AS WELL!! I have been shopping with her ever since, she makes me feel totally myself, meaning comfortable for me to tell her my LIKES AND DISLIKES! this is important to me because if I am spending my hard work earnings I want someone who is SWEET, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and really has my BEST interest at heart! not just trying to get a sale out of me! I also have super oily skin the next time (yes I have been a bad girl shhhhhh dont tell my husband)... I purchased CLINIQUE -clarifying lotion exfoliante 3, along with CLINIQUE 3,4 ! since I use it daily I bought two of each:) so it could last right?! I am so HAPPY! I leave for Jamaica coming up so I need to FEEL MY BEST! NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM ! I told my sister about it and she met Victoria and loved her like I DO! my sister also was in need of a new foundation and Victoria once again NAILED it but this time with my sister :). I am definitely going to see her just to get a few more little things before this Sunday:)
The manager Melina Harris is disrespectful and abusive. It is matter of shame for a company like Estee Lauder to have a manager who turns business away from the store. Ill never step again at this lousy store.
There is always some promotion going on there. I always come out loaded with goodies from there.
The store Melina Harris is rude and disrespectful! I cant believe why store hire her as a manager! She treated me as Im stealing from the store instead buying!
The store manager is an obnoxious, filthy, and an ill mannered women. She has a dirty tongue and does not know abc of customer service. I hope the corporate office will fire her.
