I went in this morning to have the windshield replaced on my new 2020 Hyundai Tucson SEL model. When I was driving three car lengths behind a local construction truck on my way home from teaching, a large rock had fallen off the back of their truck, bounced off the road and hit the left bottom corner of my windshield. The impact was enough that I flinched. I checked the cars windshield upon my arrival home, and didnt see any noticeable cracks after thorough inspection. However, the next day after work, the sun had caused the invisible crack (which was on the visor tint portion of the windshield,) to spread 3/4 of the way across my windshield! You can bet I was very upset about this, especially since my car is new.My insurance company (USAA) worked directly with Safelite Auto Glass in North Dover to schedule an appointment and filed my claim quickly. I was able to get an appointment the following week. There were four or five gentlemen performing all of the repair work. They were able to replace the entire windshield, put on the new wiper blades and recalibrate my cameras in about two hours time all as I read a book. The new windshield is beautiful and quality, and everyone there was so incredibly polite. They gave me a card and pamphlet with information of how to take care of my new windshield. I like to see pictures with reviews. As they say, pictures are worth 1000 words - Id say these pictures attest to the quality of service.I am so happy to give Safelite a 5/5 star review. Safelite, where they fix your windshield, is great....now, for the place you call to make an appointment, different story. 4+ hours on the phone, 2 different people. Given a dead phone number. Decided to drive to the shop, make the appointment. 10min.

Had a crack in the windshield of my new Jeep Wrangler and Joe from safelite filled it in 15 minutes . This was a huge help since I’m from Maryland but was driving to the beaches in Delaware and didn’t want the crack to spread before I got back home. Very appreciative for the help !

Went in last week to have my Mini windshield replace after a bird strike. They did and awesome job and even brought in another windshield in because the one they had in stock had a scratch on it. Awesome integrity! Cleaned up the car very well as glass was all over the inside.

Was not safelite, was GoGlass from Lewes, De. They were 118.00 cheeper and we didnt have to do it on line.

While traveling from our home in Phoenix AZ to our daughters home in Dover DE a huge rock hit the windshield. Safelight was prompt in servicing our need. Ralph came to my daughters house to replace our windshield. He did a most fantastic job and on a scale 1 to 10 he is definitely a 12. He was very courteous and knew his job quite well. Kathingthong came today to replace my wifes windshield that was hit with a rock a couple days ago. The technician was very courteous and professional. He did the work promptly and left the cars dash and adjacent areas looking cleaner than they had prior to his arrival. I scheduled an appointment yesterday online and someone was able to come right out today! I was able to get text notifications and updates for the appointment and ETA. James came out to my house and repaired the crack in my windshield in a timely manner and contact less. Im overall pleased with this service especially since what used to be and ugly crack now just looks like a little smudge.

They were flexible and patient. I had to reschedule several times and they were very courteous and understanding.

My back glass broke. Who ever was the tech on Friday night, crash wrapped my car. It was the WORST job ever. It looked like someone was cling wrapping leftovers. It was not sealed, full of creases, and didnt even stick to my car. I had to pull over several times to tape it myself. Very. Very poor job. Not a happy customer....😡

I went in two weeks ago to have my back windshield fixed, originally it was scheduled for the tech to come out but due to weather conditions it was go in or be rescheduled. I opted to take my car in. Instead of my car being pulled around into the garage the tech allowed it to sit in the rain without even attempting to place something as simple as a cover over the window. I found that to be disturbing so I bought it to the techs attention. When he decided to pull my car around he then came inside and refused to address me properly or even check me in. I was checked in by another gentleman. Then when I bought to his attention at the end of the service that being as though I bought my car to them they had to take out the traveling fee I was being charged before attempting to bill me, the tech still billed me as if he came to me. I spoke with the alleged manager immediately and he promised a refund to my card within 5-7 business days. We’re now on week 2! I’ve called and been assured the request has been put in, but however my rightful refund has not been returned. It’s unbelievable

I showed up for my appointment early and they took my car in immediately. The staff were very professional and courteous.They were very knowledgeable about my insurance claim and what my portion of the cost would be. They were very respectful towards my car. The repairs were completed before the amount of time that they had stated. I will definitely visit them again if I ever need repairs and I would definitely recommend to anyone to have their auto glass repairs done here.

I showed up early and they promptly started working on replacing my windshield.Throughout the process, I was notified if there was an issue and it would take a little longer than expected.Tech found some rust and let me know he would clean it up and apply rust inhibitor.I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend them to anyone.The price was lower than I would have expected also.

The technician showed up on time, replace the front windshield in about two hours even with all the electronic gadgets on it. Couldn’t even tell it was replaced. Couldn’t calibrate the camera though, had to take it to another location but workmanship was excellent. Haven’t driven in the rain yet that will be the real test. Maybe take it through the car wash!Oh, forgot to mention this was the Georgetown location. 👍

Had an important trip to go on this weekend and needed my windshield fix for inspection, scheduled an appt with safelite only to have them call and say they wasn’t going to make it, 2hrs before they was suppose to come, now I have to find another way to go on my trip!!! Y’all are the worst!

Spent $150 for them to fill a crack that was the size of a fingernail and not even 2 months later it spidered out. I called them for them to fix it since obviously it wasn’t done right the first time and now they want to charge me $600 to replace the windshield, so much for guaranteed work...

The installer didnt take much pride in their work. There were scratches all around the window and excess glue on my truck. But the manager was quick to fix the issue and was very concerned about giving good customer service.

Went here to get a crack fixed in the windshield of my wifes car. We showed up over an hour before our appointment and still were on our way in around 30 minutes. The guy at the counter took it all in stride, explained that fix wasnt perfect, that its job is to keep the crack from growing and wed be able to see where it was. When we got the car back we had to look for it to notice it. Its just a bit blurry where the crack was.

I had to get a new windshield for my 1995 GM full size van... the first auto glass shop I went to said they wont work on that model, the second shop said they couldnt even get a windshield for it, the third shop said they could do it but wouldnt guarantee it. So now I am beyond discouraged. Their ad comes on the radio, like Ive heard a dozen times before, so I give them a last chance call. Its a national number, so they take all my info, look into their computer, and tell me they have one in stock at a location that is close to me, and they can fit me in that afternoon! I make an appointment for a couple days later at their location, (4200 N. DuPont Highway Dover DE.) and show up about 10 minutes early. The staff was pleasant and got me right in. They estimated the job to take about two and a half to three hours... two hours later, they were finished! Not only did they do a great job in less time than quoted, but they also cut me a break on the price since I was paying in cash. Thank you so much, now I can get this thing thru inspection!

Great job taking care of my windshield. Had a rock hit window in the morning get and by afternoon they were able to get me in.

They got the job done and even vacuumed my car for me. Great fast service. My windshield also cane with the visor tint.

Anthony came to my location and replaced my windshield. He was there and finished the job during the window that they gave me. He made sure to put my existing stickers (parking) on the new windshield exactly where they needed to go.

I called to asked if they had a window in stock & if it was possible to get a window replaced that day after a break in. The number listed is a national call number, it to the local shop. The representative will not tell me anything until collecting all personal info. I just needed to know if the window was in stock for a quick replacement. The representative was rude and hung up on me
