These people were very inconsiderate and UNCOMPASSIONATE I told them after I SIGNED PAPERS to fix my car FOR 400 WHOPPING DOLLARS that I had a warranty they CLAIMED THAT THEY dont accept WARRANTIES so I HAD TO PAY WITH TEARS I wouldnt waste no time WITH THIS COMPANY they are very money hungry and uncaring they dont care what you got to pay OR WHATS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE BLACK LIVES DONT MATTER HERE THATS FOR SURE AND ITS BLACK OWNED!!! THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT OUR KIND WHEN OTHER PEOPLES CULTURES HELP EACH OTHER DOESNT IT!

I called them for a quote and they didnt disappoint. They had the tires I needed and the price was competitive. I ultimately called three places, the first is where I usually get tires for my truck(firestone) but they gave me the feeling that they were too busy to help(or unwilling?)...whatever. I ended up going to the last place cause they where a little cheaper for that particular set of tires. However, I have a Chevy traverse(garbage) that I get the tires for from here. I have always been happy with their customer service and their work.

I found Admiral through Tire Rack as a recommended installer for tires. They were great. Friendly and professional service. I called to schedule an appointment and was given one later the same day. The price I was quoted was the price I was charged (which was not the case at another tire company in Dover) and I was in and out of there within an hour. Definitely will bring my vehicles back again.

I have to say I agree with the negative reviews. They are not competitively priced at all. Brought my wifes Prius there for a wheel bearing issue. They ended up saying it needed brakes also. I finally said ok after a lot of convincing on their part, but not happy with their prices. They also tried to use scare tactics of how unsafe the car was to drive. It would of actual of been cheaper to go to the dealer. If you guys want a recommendation look at how overpriced you are compared to others in Dover. I will never go here again due to that. It is sad because your located very close to where I work but now I have to go somewhere else. You lost a customer.

Biggest con artist in Dover. They would not plug a hole in my tire because they wanted to sell me a new tire. Then charged me ten dollars to tell me i had a hole in it. Which i had already told them i seen the nail head in it. Took the the tire to Burkes tire and had it plugged for ten dollars. It s riding fine and i will never deal with Admiral tire ever again.

I went to 2 different Firestone tire care centers to have the air pressure and tires rotated before leaving g on a long road trip. Both Firestone centers said if I dropped off my car they would get to it in several hours. I do understand that they were busy, but to have to leave the car just for a pressure check and rotation seemed a bit much.When I got to the Goodyear center I told the gentleman what I needed and my car was on a rack 5 minutes later. Done in about 20minutes total. Thanks very much

Used air gun to tighten lug nuts instead of torque wrench. I had to change a wheel bearing next day and i could not break them even when I bounced on lug wrench. 330 lbs 6ft man

William is a great mechanic. the best I have yet to deal with in Dover. he knows what he is doing, and so does the other guy the CAUCASIAN one to, but WILL see you in a few months. if Will is there I am always coming for service.

This is my go to place. Usually can get you in and out fairly quickly. Rare that they will ask u to leave the vehicle over night. The big issue is the cost of parts. If you can purchase your own parts then cost would be very affordable. I would say they are the best in town.Hint: As for parts, walk next door to the parts store there and order what Admiral needs. They usually get you your parts in a matter of hours at very low cost.

I have a 2001 4Runner. Went to get an alignment done. After completion, they showed me the alignment sheet and the Camber and Caster was still out of alignment. Knowing full well (from past alignments and the factory service manual) that those COULD be adjusted, I asked why. He said theres no adjustment for that. Then after I questioned that a bit, he said it would be an extra charge. Oh here we go...Then he finally agreed to pull it back in to prove I was wrong. After me showing them the service manual and putting the truck up on wood blocks(very insafe, and couldve damaged the truck) they realized they couldnt align the camber and caster. Whats strange is ALL Toyota trucks align from the lower control arm, which was the reason they couldnt do it(its the way they lift the truck). Are you telling me this is the first Toyota truck theyve had in the shop? The only good that came out of this was that they stopped when I told them to stop. Im not stupid, and I fear for all who get service done here who are not as informed.

Worse experience ever for the five years I’ve been in Delaware. Bought a tire for my Jeep which they forgot to make the order and yet the collected my money the day I went there. Then when I wanted a refund the next day. They telling me they don’t have enough cash to give me back my money. All freaking day and this place couldn’t make $209 to give me back my money. So you be the judge if a business can’t make $209 in a day. And all the other tire shops and mechanics around packed with customers. Does that seem like a good place to go to.👎👎👎👎😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 10/26/17 it’s been two days now and these people who screwed up still can give me my money back. I gave them cash in hand they want to cut me a check and telling me it’s going to take a couple weeks to get here. Take my advice if you’re looking for good service this is not the place to go.

These guys couldn’t find a leak in my rim but did charge me $76. After I came back and pointed out the cracked in my rim that I found with a little dish soap and water they tried to help me. I wouldn’t trust them with anything too complicated.

Gave me a hard time about a 5 year battery they put in 2 years ago. Had me drive out to their shop just to tell me they had my name in the system but absolutely no information. Then tried to charge me $29.95 to check the battery. Never take your car here. Theyre horrible

Worst car experience ever. In rhe Delaware region I dropped my car off on a Thursday because of an issue with the ignition switch. My car has a chip in the key but the mechanic said he had to change the key. I asked him if he could do this and still honor the price he told me,because my key has a chip in it,he told me he would be able to give me a regular key. Hesitantly i said ok. So saturday comes and he cant reset the computer system for the car so he has to send it to the dealer. I expected it to be a short job. If i wanted to take it to the dealer i would have done it myself. The dealer kept my car until the following friday. I started a new job that week. My job id was taken from my car during this time. When the dealer returned my car the inside was dirty with parts, screws etc.... Admiral Goodyear didnt care,not even the regional manager they had a it is what it is attitude. Luckily they did honor the price they told me but that was it. I had a sense that the mechanic was incompetent but i let them work on it anyway. I ended up with a brand new key with a chip in it like i expected. But the key for my door is the same old key,smh. My car mats were dirty and had to be replaced I told the manager in the store but nothing,not even an apology. -3 stars.Never again!

On the phone they quoted me 60 minutes for a repair, after reading the procedure required to do this job they told me that it required the AC to be evacuated and refilled and that would be extra. I explained that the service manual indicated that this procedure didnt require an evac and refill and the guy told me that I could stop by so his mechanic could take a look. I stopped by and he said his mechanic had the same truck and that he could do it without the evac. I made an appointment for the next morning. I showed up dropped off my vehicle and left. 3 hours later the salesman calls me to tell me that they cant do the repair because they dont have two of the tools required to do the job, one of which is a spanner wrench and many shops are equipped with these but the salesman insisted that it was a specialty tool. When I went to pick up vehicle the salesman asked if I still wanted the service done but they would have to buy the tools and charge me for them. I told him that the Advanced Auto Parts store right next door would probably rent them for free (I know autozone has them for rent). Needless to say this was a big waste of time. This shop scheduled an appointment for service after reviewing the procedure and then realized they dont have the correct tools to do the job and then wants the customer to pay for the tools and bring back their vehicle to have it worked on once the tools come in. I got the job done in just over an hour, it was a little more expensive than what they quoted me at Admiral but well worth it not having to deal with the lack of knowledge and common sense at Admiral. I will never consider going to Admiral Tire & Auto of Dover for my needs again.

I needed to get my tires changed and this was the closest. As they were pulling the car in, I called Pepboys and discovered that their prices were more competitive. Whatever.. I cut my loses. While they had it in there, I asked the receptionist if the mechanics could find out whats going on with my Check Engine light. Now, I had my uncle (a mechanic for 50+ years) look at it already and he told me the light was just faulty. But my car was also becoming jittery and the dash lights were blinking so I figured Id get a second opinion. The receptionist offered me some scan valued at $110 that hed do for free. He came back insisting the problem was the airflow sensor and that I needed to change my filter. I agreed to it but inquired about the light just possibly being on. No, no, no, he smiled, Its never just gonna be on. There is always something wrong with the Check Engine light on. It might be the air filter, which is why were changing it. Im a mechanic on aircrafts so I should have trusted a tenured auto mechanics opinion. On my way home, I discovered the light was still on-- go figure! I was too far to turn around so I made a mental note to go back.Two days later, I finally did and questioned the purpose of changing the filter. The receptionist says to me astonished, I didnt say it was going to FIX it. I just gave you the code. I had no idea what he was talking about. Appallingly/defensively and almost with an air like I was the clueless one, he explains that I had the air filter changed because it needed to be changed, he just gave me a code, and that They could run a scan. Its worth $110 but well do it for you for free. Im not argumentative but, at that point, Im wondering if I dreamt my initial trip there.The mechanic goes out to the car and starts fiddling under the steering wheel. He comes back with the results and the receptionist tells me he couldnt even connect. He says theres something wrong with the wires and that I could take it back to the dealership to get answers.Thank you for wasting my time and money with your sales hijinks, Goodyear. Honesty and communication is the BEST policy. I am NEVER going back.

We took a company car there to have a tire patched. As usual, they called and said it couldnt be repaired. Not a surprise, as every time I have taken a tire there, there has been a reason it couldnt be fixed. None other than to sell a tire i am sure. furthermore he (Dave) went on to tell me that the car wasnt safe to drive, as the tie rod ends were loose, saying he could turn the nuts by hand, the control arm was about to fall off and it needed four tires. all in all, he could fix it for around $2300. I told him not to touch it, as we have our own shop. To top it off, he hassled the young lady driving the car about leaving with it because it was unsafe, and tried to convince her not to take her life into her own hands. that makes a lot of sense. Upon returning with the car, i took it to our shop down the street. Our mechanic, ASE Certified, put it on the lift while i was there. I will give Admiral credit where credit it due, it did need tires on the front for sure. the back could stand to be replaced, but still had several miles more to go, they were just noisy. However, we found not a single mechanical issue under the car. Absoluteley nothing. Tie rod ends were tight, control arm was tight, not a bit of play in anything, yet Dave stated that he could turn then nuts by hand and the whole car was basically ready to fall apart. I called Dave back, and called him on what i found. Suddenly the story changed. That was just a recomendation based on time and mileage. Fortunately, for me, he tried to pull a fast one on somebody who knew better. What if that had been a woman, or evan a man who didnt know any better than to beleive a so called professional. They would have soaked someone for $2300 of their hard earned money. Im sure he saw oppurtunity knowing we were a large company. However, i value my job, and part of my job requires me to police how we are spending our money.Dave,I hope you see and read this. Also, i hope you take a little more value in your job in the future. How would you feel if someone tried a dirty little scheme like that with your wife or mother? I would ask dont you work hard for your money, but apparently you spend more time trying to steal other peoples instead of working for yours. Be a stand up guy, be honest, and quit ripping people off.
