Tattoo Mafia was wonderful! I went in for a third ear lobe piercing, and Robert was awesome. It was super quick and painless, and the piercing looks gorgeous. The atmosphere is very clean and professional. Alyssa was super helpful at the front desk, and assisted me in picking out jewelry. I would 10/10 recommend Tattoo Mafia for piercings!!

Got my tongue pierced here today. Was a little nervous but Robert was very friendly + my boyfriend was allowed to be in the room with us. The experience was very pleasant.

I received a tattoo today from Lisa of the Penguin. Very professional but relaxed environment. I felt zero concern regarding cleanliness. She was quick but the quality was well done and I was very happy with the result. If I pursued further tattoos this would likely be my place to go. It was also fun just listening to the general banter. If you go to a different shop you’re a dunce would be my final opinion. Thank you again Lisa.Also for a side note she and the owner recognized a tattoo I got from them in 2006 for Christ’s sake. That’s pretty awesome.

My experience at Tattoo Mafia could be described as nothing less than phenomenal. Lisa DeLauder was my artist and did outstanding work. Sometimes, tattoo shops get a bad reputation. Almost like there is a stigma about the presence of one in the community. This facility and staff is providing a true 5 star service to their clients. They are incredibly passionate about their work. My piece was a memorial for my daughter. Lisa took the basic idea I had and turned it into a timeless masterpiece that will be with me forever. Another thing that really stood out for me was the girl that works at the front desk. I am sorry I forget what her name was and I dont want to assume her title is receptionist but, she is the first face you see when you walk in and the last one you see when you leave. She has an awesome personality for what she does. While greeting customers all day and managing all of the intake, ect... she even found time to walk around the shop several times to see if anyone needed to order food or wanted a coffee or water! I went here to get my first tattoo a few weeks ago and the whole experience was great! Very friendly people with a nice looking and very clean shop. I found them through other good reviews on Facebook, everyone had great things to say about them and they still surpassed my expectations. My tattoo artist was Emily, she was very cool,down to earth and fun to talk to. I sent her a few styles I was thinking about and she took the best parts and combined them into a great looking design. Her line work was so clean my wife thought it was fake at first and now she wants to go to Emily for her next tattoo and some touch up work she needs. Over all a great experience and I highly recommend them. My wife and I will be going back there for the rest of our work from now on

I had an appointment on Thursday, and was coming from a drs appointment in PA and we kept having to change the time due to traffic and they were totally cool with it and understanding! I will definitely be suggesting them to everyone. Very clean place and very nice and respectful atmosphere! Hands down best place.

Worked with Ian for a tattoo, and he did an amazing job! It took a few months to get in, but my tattoo was worth it. He spoke the whole time and just created a calm atmosphere. Definitely recommend for people who are new to getting tattoos! I attached my tattoo, but I just had it done today and theres still a stencil outline on the sun.

I scheduled a tattoo last month, I went to my appointment early expecting the artist to be worth another client! I was wrong, he was waiting for my appointment! I’ll start with the shop as a whole. Everything about the shop from the safety precautions in place for COVID, to the friendly staff who can answer all your questions, to the cleanliness (literally felt like I was in a Doctor’s office) was exceptional.Alyssa was very nice to talk to, she was very eager to help in any way she could, helped me pick out jewelry, priced and repriced for different jewelry combos, gave very helpful insight on aftercare (and they have jewelry changing services). She also went out of her way to send me a picture of the pieces I was interested in for my second visit, and held them for me until the day of my appointment. She has a really friendly and sweet energy that makes you feel both comfortable and informed.Robert is THEE piercer. Really nice guy, personable, experienced, a true artist. He’s also traveled a lot so he knows cool little cultural facts, has cool stories, and has pierced in a lot of different places. He walked me through a lot and crossed all the t’s (changing gloves, sterilizing, etc.) like it was second nature. He told me exactly what he was doing as he was doing it so I knew what was happening even if I couldn’t see it in my line of vision. He designed the shape and I let him choose where the different pieces went so I’d say he’s got the style element too. He’s really passionate about what he does and very determined to make sure you leave with all the instruction on aftercare you need to make sure your body stays healthy, like down to the anatomy of it all.I left with so much positive energy because that’s just the kind of place it is. If anyone’s ever looking to get pierced in the DMV area, I’d say it’s more than worth the drive. I cannot recommend it enough. Stay tuned because one day I’m sure I’ll have a tattoo review as well.

Lisa was my tattoo artist and she was amazing. This was my first tattoo. From the moment I met her for our consultation she was honest and clear with what to expect. I was nervous because I wanted the tattoo on my sternum and she stated that was one of the most painful spots. I turned in a couple of ideas I had and we talked about my overall vision. When it was closer to the time of my session she sent me proofs of her design, she was super responsive and accommodating with the changes I requested. She was able to create what I had imagined my tattoo to look like. On the days leading up to my tattoo session she kept me calm by encouraging me and reminding me of what to do before, and what to expect during the session. It could not have gone better!! I RECOMMEND HER 100%. She kept me calm and relaxed, she worked flawlessly and swiftly. I made it through the session in less time then we planned and I truly believe it was because she prepared me and made me feel so calm. WORTH THE WAIT! Thank you so much LISA!!!!

I discovered this place through my mother, whom had her tattoo done by Chris and was not disappointed.I got his amazing wife Lisa to do my peice, and I am equally not disappointed. Everybody here is so friendly and welcoming. They are also very knowledgeable and clean. I made the mistake of getting a second lobe piercing at a different shop and 3 days in, it was completely messed up. I stopped in today and Mantis was able to help me out and give me proper aftercare instructions to ensure safe healing. Although he’s a guest piercer, I have complete faith in everybody there and can’t wait to go back and have my second lobe redone. He also switched the bead on my conch CBR to an awesome opal one, and I’m in love! The jewelry selection is absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anybody looking for a quality piercing.

When looking for a great place to get a tattoo or a piercing....I would have to say Tattoo Mafia is the best place to meet your needs. They have two amazing, phenomenal tattoo artists, Lisa and Chris, one incredible piercer/office assistant, Codi and two great friendly apprentices, Emily and Steve. From the first time I was tattooed by Lisa at Tattoo Mafia three years ago until my most recent appointment this year (2016), I have been treated with the utmost respect and was always made to feel comfortable. The tattoo shop is the cleanest shop Ive ever been in (which I have been in several in Delaware). From the moment you walk in you are greeted by one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. Codi has always been appropriate and professional. I have set many appointments with Codi and she has always made me feel comfortable. Having had the opportunity to sit for several full day tattoo sessions with Lisa, I have also been able to observe Codi interacting with many clients and potential clients which she has always been completely professional. I was reading through the Google reviews for Tattoo Mafia and one recent review has disheartened me. I feel the need to address this individual because I believe that you should never put slanderous and inaccurate information out for the public to read. The bell Bells review is most likely fake. I also believe that this individual has never set foot in the Tattoo Mafia shop because their description of the shop is inaccurate and the inappropriate and benighted comments made toward Codi where inhuman. Please when reading the Google reviews, please take note that all but one review shows an adequate depiction of the staff and tattoo shop.

First time in a tattoo shop. Very clean and very professional. My husband and I chose Ian for a tattoo of interlocked wedding rings. We brought sample pictures and Ian helped us craft our own personal tattoo based on what we liked and disliked about the pictures that we brought. He also made suggestions about shading, size and location. He is an awesome artist. Ian and all the staff were friendly and cool. Would highly recommend!

Tattoo mafia is more then a 5 star tattoo studio. I currently have 4 tattoos. All which have been done by Chris. First let me say, there Covid protocols are a A+! You have to call the shop to let them know you are there and Alyssa will let you in. Alyssa is always so nice and always had a smile even under her mask! She always makes sure you understand and are okay with your appointment and makes sure you have a great artist even tho all the artist at tattoo mafia is amazing.Chris on the other hand, is a AMAZING tattoo artist!! What can I say other than Chris, Lisa, and Curtis are the best. I have gotten two tattoos which were both done by Chris back in November of 2014 when they initially opened their new location. I absolutely love Tattoo Mafia, the atmosphere, the people, the shop. The people are super friendly in there and make you feel like family. All of the artists are amazing, and I love all of their work. The shop is so clean and well kept which is super important for shops. And Codi!! I absolutely love her, in all my years of being pierced i have never found a piercer that i truly like and appreciate until now. Codi is an amazing person and you can tell that she really loves her job. She talks you through the process of the piercing, gives you all the information that you need to take care of your piercings. And always has a wide variety of jewelry on hand, and she really cares about her clients. And the migraine piercing is such an amazing thing, i got my piercing almost 6 months ago and have had only 1 migraine in those 6 months (: Its amazing. I just went to tattoo mafia today to get a conch piercing and it was the best experience ever. The person that did my piercing was Codi. She is a very fun energetic person and she makes you feel welcomed. She did I very good job on helping me breath so that the piercing would hurt less and it did. She made sure everything was super clean to avoid infections and did a great job about explain the aftercare process. If I get anymore piercing I know where to go.

Ive know Chris and Lisa for a long time. A friend and I had bad tattoo experiences elsewhere and were kinda just turned off to the whole profession, but we decided to give a couple shops a try. He made an appointment at one, but then called and cancelled. We then went for a 7:30 consult at the old shop in I want to say 2012, and its been a great friendship ever since. Im greeted with warm hugs in a completely friendly atmosphere. Their new shop is just the icing on the cake. With the addition of Codi, the shop manager and piercer and their new apprentices, it truly feels like a family! Ive had 7 tattoos done by Chris and yesterday got a piercing done by Codi. My friend travels from Colorado and is covered is Lisas work. I wont go anywhere else. They are completely sterile and Ive never had any issues with their work, just constant compliments. When youre there, youre family.

This has been my go to place to get a tattoo since moving to Delaware. They are great artists and very nice people. I have had a few medical issues, but once I am able to, I will be going there again to get a memorial tattoo for my Dad. I am looking forward to seeing how different the artist, Emily, her style differs from Chris, artist and one of the owners.

A week ago was my first time going to Tattoo Mafia. Ill first start off by talking about the shop.WOW. Talk about a nice, clean and professional shop. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into this shop compared to most in the Dover area.The staff was friendly and awesome. I went in for a specific piercing, so I didnt talk to everyone, but they all greeted me when I walked in.I came to this shop to get pierced by Codi. ANYONE who needs a piercing, Codi is the girl to go to. SUPER friendly and professional. She not only has exceptional customer service, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about what she is doing. My piercings came out SO MUCH better than I had ever expected. The whole process was enjoyable. I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. No lie.. I had no other option than to rate my experience with Codi and the shop with a full 5 stars.HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!

I went to Tattoo mafia to get my first tattoo done. They were able to get me in quickly and the price was better than several places that I had been too. I was very satisfied with the service I got. They were extremely clean and careful about how they worked. I was extremely thrilled with my tattoo. I had waited 12 years to get my first because I was worried about it not looking good, but it was better than I expected. When I was done I decided to get my nose pierced. Codi took great care of me. She sat me down and walked through the whole process of what she was going to do. Her work area is extremely clean and sanitary. All her instruments were sterilized and new in the package. The Septum is the most painful piercing I have had and it wasnt that bad. It was fairly quick. When she as done it looked great. It was through straight and I had have no issues with it afterwards. I have been back for two additional piercings and plan on several more along with more tattoos.

Ive been a customer here for years, but every time I go they seem to top themselves. Professionalism is the best in the business by far. Codi always makes sure the entire process is seamless and simple. This particular time I got some work done by Emily, and was BLOWN AWAY! Her art work is as good as youll find anywhere and she gave me a tattoo thats even better than I was hoping for. Theres never even a question in my mind, when I need work done this is the only place Id even CONSIDER, and I recommend it to anyone and everyone, always have and always will.

So far Ive only had my consultation with Curtis Adams for the work I am wanting. He asked the right questions and he listened to what was being said and even the ideals for more later. Very professional and pleased so far. The rest of the staff that were on site we awesome too with just the joking and laughter. Made me feel like I was at home with the husband even though he was with me. Thank you to there staff for your excellent customer service and hospitality.

I saw Codi Lyn Canasa to get my septum piercing after it was incorrectly pierced as two previous shops. The staff was so helpful over the phone and in person and Codi did an amazing job! She explained everything before she prepped me to get pierced, she took her time finding the perfect spot, and she pierced it beautifully! I was beyond excited when I looked in the mirror. Awesome place and awesome people! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

As soon as I walked into tattoo mafia I was greeted with a warm smile. I talked to Codi about me and some friends wanting piercings. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Just got done my second appointment to get peirced by Codi. I can say i have never been more impressed by an artist than I was with her. Both times she walked me through what she was doing and showed my how she had everything set up before she even made a move to do my piercings. She was all smiles and that was nice. She is all about making sure her clients feel welcome and happy as well as comfortable. I can happily say that I will definitely be coming back when I want another one and lets face it I will.

I went to Will to get a tattoo at the Philly Tattoo Convention yesterday and everyone from this shop was amazing. They were all extremely welcoming and friendly. They were so helpful and I loved chatting to them. My tattoo artist Will was a great guy and he kept checking in on how I was doing while he was tattooing me. It was very reassuring that he genuinely cared and wanted to know if I was ok. Every step of the process was great. Will is really good at what he does and I love my new tattoo. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing or tattoo. Everyone I dealt with was lovely and down to earth. Will was also extremely efficient in making sure everything was of the utmost hygienic standard. Will cut no corners whatsoever in hygiene despite being on a tight schedule at the convention. Ive know Codi for several years now and she is the only person I will have pierce me. So naturally, I follow her wherever she goes! I was pleasantly pleased when she moved to Tattoo Mafia. The shop is beautiful and smells clean and sterile like a hospital when you walk in. The atmosphere is insanely friendly and professional. I got my daith done a week ago by Codi at tattoo mafia. Besides having my ears pierced as a young girl, this was my first tattoo. Codi did an excellent job! She made sure that I saw that all the equipment was new and sterilized. Initially the piercing didnt want to work right, Codi took the time and had patience to get it right and I greatly appreciate it. I would recommend her to anyone! Codi is AMAZING she brings so much energy into her job bc she loves what she does. The cleanest piercer Ive ever been with she shows you the needles being removed from the package!!!! Codi is compassionate, uses excellent technique in assisting clients with breathing through the piercings, knowledgeable about what piercings are proper for each persons anatomy, just overall the best.
