I love this store so much!! I dont remember the associates name but she was such a great help to me. She was a tall, curvy, brunette with long hair. Anyway, she actually took the time to show me how to use a color correcting product on my combination skin. Customer service is almost nonexistent these days so I appreciate her for taking the time to help me out.

EriK M. was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. He gave me step by step details. Do’s and don’ts from a professional! Will definitely be back to see him soon.

Their STYLIST left at 3pm so I cant be helped! The salon doesnt even close till 6pm so their salon is open for 3 hours with NO STYLISTS!! The service manager Rachel had NO SOLUTIONS! How does this place do business smh youve been ⚠️WARNED ⚠️

I like their selection, multiple displays were messy and unorganized and lots of things were out of stock. The associate I asked for help had little to no knowledge of what I was looking for. Not terrible but not what the store used to be.

I got my eyebrows done by Ali and hair cut by Aj. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEIR WORK!!!!!!

We’re in the middle of a pandemic and they can still match my skin perfectly without swatching or anything. Give those people some more money, honey!

I know a lot of people love Ulta, however, it is my opinion that it is too expensive for my taste. I rated this store when it first came to Dover - it was awful when I shopped there. It seems to have improved with better stocked makeup and sales people asking if I needed any help. I prefer to get my makeup subscription boxes where I can get all of the expensive makeup and skincare for a really good deal. So all of that being said, if you love Ulta, this is the store for you.UPDATE! I bit the bullet and went back this past weekend. What a difference! The girls behind the makeup counter pulled me in and worked on my brows. I have never had anyone do this for me before. They were GREAT and recommended a good brow shade and product - which I bought. I had fun and the store seemed better stocked . I will go back and check it out again.

Went in today to buy products for my hair. The girl was very helpful and I was able to leave with everything I needed. Overall staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I typically don’t write negative reviews however my visit to this location was by far my worst Ulta experience. Pros: nice selection and everything is easy to find, especially if you know what you’re looking for. Cons: customer service, or lack of. As I neared check out, one employee behind the counter walked away, and two more held a conversation as I stood there waiting to be helped. After 4 minutes (I counted) and an “excuse me, “ a young lady finally assisted me and I was able to leave.I returned 5 minutes later after realizing I purchased the wrong ABH product. I walked in, grabbed the right product, and returned to check out for a simple exchange. The same young lady who walked away during my earlier visit, walked away again, blatantly refusing to assist me. When I looked at her she said, “ one of them will help you,” while gesturing to the two young ladies from earlier (who were still engaged in conversation). One of them came over but was clearly bothered. Bothered to do her job.People love Ulta, not just for the product selection but for the experience. The employees should understand that. I’ll definitely do my shopping online or elsewhere before going to this location again.

I have have countless bad experiences in several notable beauty stores which have been really discouraging over the years. I went in to this location today feeling apprehensive and with low expectations, but Erik absolutely obliterated them. He was super friendly and helpful and really took the time not just to find the right products and colors for me, but to educate me in how to use them and make them work best for me. As a woman with low self-esteem, this experience was priceless. Thanks again Erik, for the wonderful experience!

This is the worst place ever!!! You walk in and the workers are standing around talking or acting like they didnt see you just walk in!!!. No one asks if you need assistance. Then when theyre finally done talking, they walk right past you as if you dont exist!!! I tried to give this place a second chance just because I thought it might have been a fluke. NOPE!!! NO FLUKE!!! The second time I visited, they were in a staff like meeting (in the middle of the day, in the middle of the store).No one greeted me. No one asked if I needed assistance!!! The manager was amongst them and I thought that at the very least she would send one of the workers to assist me. NOPE!!! No assistance!!! No help!!! I felt like I intruded on their TEA PARTY!!! This is how they act!!! I will never go back!!! I would rather go to Macys to get my cosmetics than to be ignored!!! Horrible workers!!! Horrible manager!!! Horrible experience!!! NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!! I HAVE SPENT MORE MONEY AND BEEN TREATED WORST BY BETTER PEOPLE!!!!

Beautiful style and service that the entire store has. They are excellent my favorite perfume is Versace Bright Crystal and the company Ulta is the perfect place to go for personal reasons and for your beauty needs to beautify yourself and lavishly treat yourself with. Of course they are expensive and thats because they carry high end quality products.

This was my first visit. Since it was Black Friday, I am assuming that it was busier than normal. That being said, lines moved very quickly, three cashiers worked steadily to keep the line moving and they were pleasant. This store has such a huge selection of items and ran some good sales today.

First time going to the Salon at Ulta, Betheny was phenomenal. She was doing mine and another client’s hair and slayed is both simultaneously. Great work 10/10

I only been here once so far, The floors and windows were clean, the makeup and the shelves where the makeup was, not at all! There was so much makeup on everything like it wasn’t cleaned all week! The looked like they had a good selection till you go to find an item to buy,it’s like nothing was stocked! The back counter was a disaster and there were 4 girls just standing there talking about how to do highlight “the right way”, which may I add, was not the right way. 😂 Anyways, I needed help and no one was around to help me. The one employee that did walk up to someone and offer help sounded like a complete robot trying to push products on her saying which one she liked more, disregarding everything the lady was trying to tell her. Checkout was fast, but I wasn’t asked about the Ulta card like the lady in front of me, I was also rushed and not even smiled at, I didn’t feel really welcomed but that being said, I will be back because they are the only ones around here and maybe next time will be better. 😰

The store was nicely laid out and there are many products to choose from. The displays were well lit and easy to shop.That being said, I feel like the staff profiled me as a shoplifter because of my appearance (piercings, stretched ears, etc) because one employee shadowed me around the entire store although I wasnt even carrying a purse and was chasing my 2 year old toddler around. There were several other customers in the store that were more mainstream and the employees didnt follow them around the entire time they were in the store. Ill make sure to make future purchases online where I dont feel like a criminal while I am shopping.Note to Staff: Stop profiling customers based on their appearance. It is just as bad as profiling a customer based on their skin tone. It is discriminatory.

The one beauty product I really like is only available at the Ulta store or online. Without exception, the store runs out of my color, black, before any of the other colors and I am forced to shop online. This is a sure fire way of putting your brick and mortar stores out of business. The product I buy is NYX precision brow pencil. I always try the store first but after several disappointing trips I will no longer bother. Most drug stores carry the other beauty products I use.

I dont normally write reviews but Danielle in the salon is great! Ive been trying to get the perfect bob cut for years and never liked what other salons did. 🤦‍♀️ I showed her 3 pictures of the haircut I wanted and she gave me exactly that, Ill never go to another salon again. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I could live at this place lol.. but seriously, the staff greet you when you walk in and do not hover over you, but are right there if you need anything or have a question. And the selection is great. You can get high end and affordable. Love this place!

Great quality brand name beauty products available they have a hair salon and a brow bar. The customer service is excellent. Tje prices are reasonable.

I don’t usually do reviews but I’m going to. So my appointment was for 10am today. I usually only go to one person in the salon. They know how I like my hair and have done it well every time. She was unavailable and for my birthday my mom was getting my hair done. I do want to say the stylist in there was a wonderful person. Was very nice and talkative and welcoming. However I showed her a photo of what my hair usually is. After waiting a half hour I finally get bleach on my hair. They rinse it everything as normal. I get dye on and it’s getting blow dried things as normal. My hair was no where near what I asked. So they accommodated to do it again. They put some brighter dye on it had me sit and rinse it. After being there 5 hours now my hair was still not where I had asked. Mind you I get my hair dyed this color all the time. So it wasn’t like having to go from black to bright red. At this point I just wanted to go because I already felt bad enough. I’ve never paid more then $120 for my hair there. I was charged $209 for things that I never asked for such as a kicker and toner and those products in the past never were put on my head before. This was a birthday gift to me and it ended up being an emotional experience for me. I don’t think I’ll be going back after today. Mind you like I said I go to another girl there who wasn’t available this particular day. I’m just disappointed that someone else who works there can do it for a reasonable price whereas I go to someone else who works there didn’t make it anywhere near what I asked as well as two people working on my hair. They were very nice people just this wasn’t what I wanted or expected when walking in looking forward to this...(The brighter red is what I was asking for again, the two other photos were from the attempts today)

Ulta is one of my favorite places to go but this was my first salon hair service, so i was a little nervous. But Icie slayed my hair in the salon!! I had damaged white blonde hair with pink dye stuck in it and dark roots showing up and she worked her color correction magic ! She gave me a shadow root with high and low lights and i am obsessed with it ! She also cut my hair and did fantastic. I will definitely be back !IMG_6096.jpeg

Nice store with products from drugstore brands to much more expensive brands. Benefit brand brow bar is a great station in the front of the store to get your eyebrows expertly done. Salon in the back of the store.

DANIELLE!!!!! Is all I can say. Danielle in the salon is superb! Shes the only hairstylist to EVER get my hair exactly how I wanted it the FIRST time! She is a miracle worker and not only is she great at what she does but she is freaking awesome and keeps you talking and just Im speechless honestly. She made my life today with my amazing hair color and cut! When I say she is amazing at what she does, I mean she literally is! She educated me on a lot of great Redken products and I walked out with three Redken products! Danielle, if you read this you are the greatest and I love you! Thank you so much for the best hair color, cut and style Ive ever had!

Okay, so I was in the store for about an hour and no one asked if I needed help, LOL. Thats fine, because I didnt, but I think thats sort of what theyre supposed to do, but everyone has an off day.And its expensive. But thats what happens when you buy high-end products. That isnt there fault.The four stars is because the staff always seem distant and unwelcoming. They do their jobs, but the times I have come in, they just sort of scowl or look down on you. I know they get free makeup, so I dont know why theyre scowling, LOL. But I dont know what has happened in their lives.Maybe theyll get word of this review and try to perk up? Fake it till you make it.Nice shop, dont hesitate. Treat yourself men and women. c;

So, one young lady offered to help me... but had no knowledge of what I asked. She then, referred me to check something else out since they didnt have what I wanted in stock. Then I was told to come back on Monday to check back.... I get that this town is small but come on now... In addition to that the women that work there DO NOT look like they know anything about beauty, make-up or skin care. Please hire people that look like they know something about make-up and actually do. When I go into a make-up store, I want to see faces that are slayed/ beat and look like they can help me.

It got to the point where we left to go to the Sephora in the Dover mall right across the street. We were in and out in less than 5 mins and had got what we wanted. We can never find help here and spend much more time standing around. We recommend going to Sephora in the mall. Much better service!

I was so very disappointed with my services. I got to my appointment early, to have my makeup done. I ended up waiting another 20 mins for her to start my makeup, as she roamed the store and kept telling me she would be with me. Finally we picked out my colors and foundation. I told her what I wanted. After all was said and done, I looked horrible. I looked like a clown. Black liquid liner all across my eyelids, no smoky colors, as I requested. She didnt use the bare minerals makeup I requested. I asked her why she put so much powder on me, her response was, She couldnt get it to go right. I didnt have the heart to tell her she sucks at her job..I ended up speaking to a manager and they got me makeup remover wipes and cleaned my face. I didnt pay for the services but I wasted an hour and a half of my time and was so embarrassed the way other people were looking at me. It was that bad!!!!! Do not go to Jammie and yes thats how her name is spelled. You will be a Ringling brothers star.

Really disappointed in your salon. I made an appointment to get my hair cut and get highlights. When I was showing the stylist what I wanted she told me she didnt know how to do that. I left getting nothing done.
