I finally made it to the East Orange store last Thursday. It was all that I had expected. The sales person (Staletta, forgive my spelling) was very helpful and courteous. She even helped me find the type of product for my hair. I unexpectedly spent $37, but Ill be back to spend more.My daughter asked what did I do different to my hair, I told her the sales person recommended Aunt Jackies products.

This place is a hidden gem! Just found it and glad I did. Ive been doing hair for over 20 years their prices are reasonable and fair and they always have what I need! Will always shop here first for my beauty products.

While researching black owned beauty supply stores to carry my hair care products on their shelves I came across this listing. The clerk who answered was very polite and even gave me the direct contact info of the owner once I explained my intent. I reached out and we have been doing B2B business since last year. They are a black owned CHAIN of beauty supply stores. Definitely worth visiting both locations.... !:)

The only reason Im giving one star is because they have very limited supplies. The workers are helpful and friendly. The prices on the products they do have are great but if youre looking for a range of products or an entire product line then youll have to go to another beauty supply store unfortunately.

Not a great selection, but if youre looking for afro-textured extensions/braid hair/twists/crochet bundles or hair products and dyes, its a pretty safe bet theyll carry what you need. No real selection for makeup/skin care/nail care though. And definitely very low on the accessories selection.

The man in the shop was really helpful. The prices were affordable. They had some really good options. We drove out from Bayonne but it was worth the trip.

I liked the fact that they opened late and it is black owned. However, they need to stock up. There werent that much to select from. Have they thought about expanding because i dont want to go to BSW and get the products because this store does not have. Im just saying.

I love that they are open until 10pm! Standard products, but there is room on the shelves for more. We found exactly what we were looking for, and the older gentleman who worked there was nice.

I was so happy when I moved to this area and there is a beauty supply closeby which is opened late, but today I was horrified. The older guy at the store is very nasty. He seemed like he was having a bad day. Ruined my evening. Its not the first time I have been there and noticed his attitude, but ignored it. Today I felt disrespected. Why is such a nasty older guy working at beauty supply store who is not helpful one bit. At one point he even wanted to attack me after I expressed how horrified I was. I am never going to step foot in this store again as long as he works there.

Only good thing is that theyre open late. Half the time I come in there the older black guy clerk is rude and has an attitude like Im not coming to spend my money. So I dont shop there anymore.

Terrible customer service! I was so happy to find a beauty supply store that was open late. I went for the first time last night and the selection of hair was horrible. On top of that, I was asked every 10 seconds when I would be leaving, as it was 30 min to closing, and the guy in the store was very nasty about it. Will never be showing my face here again.

They were so friendly and I was not sure what I needed to dye my hair. He helped me and gave me gloves and a shower cap and I thought I forgot to buy them.
