The customer service is terrible the length of time waiting in line most times only one cashier a handful of cashiers are Pleasant but some of them rude very seldom see them smile

Actually deserved less than one star. I gave one star so I can write a reviewI bought a king size mattress cover. When I got home, I opened it and realized the items was dirty and small size. I returned it the next day and the very rude night manager said she can not refund because it was dirty. How can you sell me a returned item and refused to refund it. This is scam and fraudulent . They had over 10 People waiting to checkout and the Manager was probably sleeping in the office. One of the cashiers had to tell our her name before she came out. They ran out of change. And customer had to wsit like 5 minutes to get change. I will not be returning to the store. Plus Im contacting their corporate office. You cant sell me a dirty ans used item . This is a big corporate fraud

The family dollar on main streer in east orange is very slow. There is always a long line with one cashier on duty most of the time and there are always people on line complaining about the service. Also they give u paper bags which is no problem most of the time BUT they give paper bags even when its raining.

Only one cashier in the store to attend to more than a dozen customers.

This store has improved 300%. Its clean and organized unlike most Family Dollar Stores. Staff were helpful and welcoming.

RATCHET DOLLAR, what a dump! -0 stars if I could. Make sure you get your receipts, because they will be thrown on the floor, garbage or left on the counter if you dont, then when you go to return something, you wont have a receipt. There used to be mice in this store gnawing on food items, Im surprised I havent seen any signs of that recently. The lines are always a mile long. I slipped and almost fell on something that had been spilled on the floor a while back, telling the manager didnt help, because he didnt send anyone back there to check it out. The aisles are cramped and annoying to walk down. Theres clothing on the floor, small aisles with everything in disarray! I guess we shouldnt expect much being that this store is in an urban area. They dont give a damn about US! Just our money!

I like Family Dollar. I just went there today and got a better deal on dog food and found a very cute yogurt cup with a top that holds toppings. I also got coffee creamer at a reasonable cost. You can find great bargains there. Its a store you can go to everyday.

This family dollar is very dirty and untidy. It definitely needs some TLC... No organization whatsoever. Wait time to be cashed wasnt bad but because of messy the environment was I decided to leave.

This store is great, you can find almost anything you want shopping here, they have a vast array of items, from clothing to food and the prices are really good and reasonable!

Came there as soon as they opened but of course the door was closed as the cashier was counting her drawers. Shouldnt that be done prior to the time to open? if the stores open at 7 then the staff should be ready to open at 7.

That girl tamira can be a little nicer to the elderly customers also to those customers that dont speak or understand English well....also its always a long line but only one cashier but they never want to hire anybody u hate going to that store

This is the most junkiest and out all order Family Dollar I have ever been in!!! I mean in every aisle of the store there was boxes with products that needed to be shelved or put in the store room....

It smells really really bad in there and everyone was including me was covering our nose...it was horrible!!!!

Family Dollar isnt a bad place to shop but its in a bad area.

It was a line at the cashier but once they saw it getting ling they opened another register.
