We rented the pavillion at Javateas for my daughter’s bridal shower. It was a wonderful experience. The Javateas management was so accommodating in the planning process. The party area was clean and ready for us. The food was so delicious. The staff checked in with us during the event and made sure that they were there if we needed something. It was a perfect event! If you are looking for a place to have a celebration of any kind- I highly recommend the pavilion and deck at Javateas.

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed! I got the Monte Cristo bagel and a coffee flight & was blown away by both. The coffee flight had unique options that were all delicious. Can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend!

Get the coffee flight, it was delicious and presented nicely. I also had the avocado toast... it was okay. The avocado slice could have been seasoned with some salt, the toast toasted a little longer and Id prefer the egg to be over easy. The coffee flight was so good though making it absolutely worth it to return. ✌🏼

Left one star because I’m unable to leave zero stars. Ironic because the last time we came here that’s exactly what we got… Zero of our order! They Completely forgot our orders along with other peoples. We Came back a second time and I received my mail only my husband did not receive his. When we inquired about it, the person who took his order questioned, do you mean you haven’t received it yet? So basically I ate first and when I was done my husband finally got his food. Which was not all that great. Save your money go somewhere else. The old republic distillery attached to it is wonderful though!

Clean & healthy eating options all over the menu. Cute small restaurant that serves amazing smoothies. They are pricey but if you’re into your health, the food makes it worth it. I’ve ordered several wraps, salads, and smoothies and have not been let down yet. They also have catering options available & call in orders for those on the go.

Theyre expensive. But you get what you pay for. Everything Ive had there was amazing. Their baked goods are really good as well. Id highly recommend

Great little spot. Everything was on point, clean, well prepared and fresh. Good atmosphere,they have free WiFi, and great staff.I had a salad, pita pizza and oatmeal peanut butter and chocolate muffin and latte... Everything was soooo good. You cannot go wrong here.Good job to the girl who was by herself running around making sure people were taken care of.

I was so excited to try this establishment and was sorely disappointed. I invited friends to meet here for lunch. We ended up getting our meals one at a time. Food was forgotten. We had to remind several staff members of forgotten meal items. Our drinks were brought out after we completed our meals. Mayo was requested when placing order but never received. Reminded server but still not received. Finally went in and got it ourselves after meals were already cold. There was confusion to what we were charged and seeing I never got a receipt was unable to verify. Not what I was expecting at all.

I have always struggled with finding the perfect spot to sit down, being able to do homework without getting distracted. Coffee shops are either immensely crowded or loud. However, with Javateas Gourmet Coffee Cafe they prove all cafe shops wrong. It is like entering coffee heaven, for their staff will put a smile on your face as they add extra love to their coffee beverages. I come here almost every day and get weeks work of homework done. Not only that but they have delectable pastries that will melt in your mouth, as well as, flavorful drinks. In another review written by Matt Martin, he states that the latte was one of the best drinks, I would have to disagree. If you ever find yourself stumbling into Javateas Gourmet Coffee Cafe, order their iced white mocha with cold foam and caramel drizzle. This drink was made by a employee member that goes by the name of Olivia. People believe that coffee is just coffee. With Javateas Gourmet Coffee Cafe, they make coffee and experience that you will never forget.

To preface this review I have visited and reviewed well over 300 coffee establishments within my lifetime, not counting my younger years spent abroad as a coffee connoisseur for an esteemed French news publication. After a 4 hour drive to visit my father and mother in Lancaster, I found myself exhausted. I had yet to visited a coffee establishment in Lancaster, so I telephoned my mother and asked for a recommendation. My mother insisted that I visit Javateas Gourmet Coffee Cafe, stating “it’s the best coffee in all of Pennsylvania”. Although I highly doubted my mothers statement, I had to find out for certain. Upon entering Javateas my nose was met with the delightful smell of roast coffee beans and my ears serenaded by pleasant music and the upbeat chatter of content shop goers. As I approached the counter, a beautiful barista named Olivia greeted me with a pleasant smile and asked for my order. I requested a cup of their finest coffee in the form of a latte, and had my order fulfilled in a timely fashion. After finishing my cup of coffee, I was reminded why I must never doubt the words of my wise old mother. For this cup of coffee was the best beverage that I had ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Whether you live in Lancaster or not, if you claim to be an enjoyer of coffee, you are doing yourself a disservice to not visit this fine coffee establishment.

Javateas is our favorite coffee shop. We stop every Sunday on our way to Church. Its so beautiful and relaxing inside.They have so many sugar free flavors to choose from. Five stars is definitely too low. I vote 20 stars!

Great service, friendly atmosphere, and great selection of vegan snacks/deserts/drinks. Their prices are quite affordable and the quality of their products is something that I never had to question. Every dollar spent here is well worth it.

My family and I enjoy coming to this place and love the food and coffee selections. This past Saturday I had a busy day planned and decided to place an online order while I was in Wyomissing. After placing the online order it stated my order would be ready within 10 minutes. Driving from Wyomissing to Ephrata takes about 25-30 min. When I arrived I left my car running and ran inside in hopes of grabbing my order. To my dismay, there was another person waiting and nothing on the pick up counter. There were 3 workers at the time, one taking orders, one making food and one making beverages. The girl taking orders was very pleasant and upbeat but was busy with those who needed to order. The girl making food seemed like she was in slow motion and did not at all enjoy her job. The girl making all the beverages acknowledged the gentleman ahead of me and asked what he was waiting for. I knew something was wrong when the people that ordered long after I placed my online order were getting their food and beverages and no one had yet acknowledged me. There was a bag placed in the far corner of the pick up counter but no name with it and no receipt. After standing there for 10 min an iced beverage was placed next to the bag. Just to clarify, I ordered a sandwich and a hot decaf Carmel latte so I was under the assumption it was not mine. Finally, the girl taking orders looked at me and smiled and asked what I was waiting for. I stated I placed an online order. She stated the iced coffee and bag were mine and handed me my order. Ugh! If someone could have taken the time to just acknowledge me when I originally walked in the 15 minute wait could have been avoided. Since I was late for an appointment I accepted the wrong beverage that was made for me and left. I understand that mistakes happen and that is not at all the point of my complaint. I just wish the staff would have been more concerned over a waiting patron than changing the trash… yes I forgot to mention that…. The barista that made it a point to acknowledge the gentleman ahead of me but never thought to ask me, actually changed the trash out.

The place is clean, modern, and has a nice theme. There is a lot of prohibition Era memorabilia around. The batista was extremely nice and was juggling multiple things at once with ease. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and just the right size. The lattes were delicious and the selection of other drinks is on par for what you would expect from a coffee shop.One area for them to check is the bathroom. Not that it isnt clean, but they have a fancy trashcan and it seemed to be broken since it would not automatically open.

Later selection of food and coffee/tea. Quick friendly service.AND they share a space with a micro distillery. (Who doesnt love a good Irish coffee??)

Cute place, but the dairy free latte’s are definitely lacking. Mostly sugary syrup. I will have to try something else to rate it better.

They never have enough employees working when we go. The food is good, but not really worth the wait. The woman today did a good time getting it out in time but last time we waited about 30 minutes from waiting in line and then waiting for the food. The cups they use for their coffees are terrible. They are cheaply made and love to spill all over the place. Javateas isnt bad for someone who has the time to sit down there and eat but otherwise not a good choice.

Great food! Speedy service, everyone there is always in good spirits and everything is always so clean and well kept. I love the open concept and that you can see the girls making your food. That all means alot to me as a healthcare professional during covid) their always my go to when i need a healthy lunch on the fly during my busy days. I’ve been coming here for years, but have been noticing that the staff is INCREDIBLY rude, especially the owner. She ALWAYS approaches me with a really rude tone & makes her customers feel incredibly unwelcome. Don’t think I will be coming back ever again.

I gave 4/5 stars cause while the place was nice (and the food and coffee were good), a majority of people weren’t wearing masks (nor were masks being enforced), the barista herself had hers off her nose and nearly to her mouth. I understand masks are a struggle, but I felt really uncomfortable with my food and drinks being made like that. The barista was very very pleasant though, so I give her that. Just wish it was safer. :(

Really cool now that theres a distillery tasting room there as well! I mean, now all we need are some hookahs... (thats a smoking device reference, not slang for a Professional Friend). And my thoughts on masks? Seriously, unless you are wearing a N95 or other RATED DEVICE, then im pretty sure its just a religious symbol or a SNEEZE GUARD at best, not a mask. It looks good to be a Team Player, but be REAL about the function, please, and acknowledge the safety & health issue of being stuffed inside the sweltering heat of a face smothering for an entire shift.

Deco and out door seating were nice. Food was ok. 2 star because our server seemed to think a face mask was a nuisance. Served our table with her mask off. Nice place and sorry for the low rating but these days can we all just be safe instead of sorry?

My friend and I went here on 10/18 in the morning after trying to go to a different place to grab coffee and breakfast but it was closed. We had been to this place before and didn’t have a great experience (eg, impolite staff, slower service) although the food and coffee were ok and the atmosphere is nice. We decided to give it another try, but again were disappointed because of slow service due to only two people working on a busy Sunday morning. Our biggest complaint was that one of us ordered a large cappuccino with two extra shots of espresso, and while we were still sitting in the cafe the barista made a comment to her coworker that they should offer “coffee education classes” because some people come in and order too many shots of espresso in their drinks. Like someone reviewed previously, making rude comments about customers while they are still present is unacceptable in our opinion and we will not be returning.

Would have given 4 stars but the girl taking and making my order never changed her gloves in between tasks. She went from taking money to making my bagel back to making my coffee. The bagel was good the coffee was reasonably priced and tasty for a specialty coffee. I would recommend going there despite the gloves not being changed

Delicious tea! I recommend Chrystals Tea. Very friendly service and a reasonable price as well. They have a lot of different choice no matter if you like tea or coffee, iced or hot. I will be coming back!

Cute little place. Cheap coffee! ...at least compared to some other local coffee shops. I don’t do things like pumpkin spice lattes and chai tea, but their hot coffee (Kenya + decaf) was very good.

Friendly, wonderful service! House coffee is over the top! Atmosphere is warm & relaxing. Homemade baked oatmeal is so tasty. Great experience!Recommend Javateas!

First time there will go back

Having been there several times, this place is a great local favorite! Great selection in coffee and appetizing lunch options. Service has never been slow and always friendly. I was concerned for smaller location but it’s never felt cramped while being there. The sofas in the back are a great spot. They even have a selection of books and games if you have children with you!

This nice shop is set off of 272, so if you arent looking for it, you wont find it on your own. They have a great selection of drinks and I havent been disappointed. This morning we tried the pear and brie flat bread and it was delicious. We will definitely continue to go there!

My London fog was great, and very good service.

Service was really poor - baristas were complaining about customers, which in my opinion should not be carried out while continuing to serve other customers. The room was very loud as the neighboring business was having a fitness class - not a great place to just sit and enjoy coffee. Food was all microwaved, so nothing to spectacular.

Its an adoable little coffee shop. All the employees are so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is great for all ages. And you can watch them make your drink right there! Their drinks taste so fresh and is such a cozy place to go. Its just a great place. I loved it there!

Fantastic location to meet friends or take business contacts! They are also highly involved in supporting their local community and volunteer in many ways!

I enjoy getting their specialty drinks & sandwiches. Very relaxed and homey atmosphere. You may have to wait a little but things are made to order, therefore fresh. Definately a 5 star place.

Cute place, loved the vibe and had friendly service, BUT GOT FOOD POISONING. Both my aunt and I got it a few days ago and have only now recovered. I don’t plan on coming back and I hope they address it ASAP.

Visited the Woman’s Ctr location for a caramel cold brew and blueberry muffin. The cold brew tasted horrible. So bitter. (I enjoy iced coffee from many places and know what to expect). The muffin was not fresh, dry. I ended up tearing into the middle of it to attempt to enjoy as much as possible, but I ended up throwing both away. Upset to throw away 8.00

Lots of selection of drinks and snacks. Good tasting latte with almond milk. Friendly, quick service. They were quite busy early Saturday morning.

I have visited this place several times as part of my tutoring work. Its a good location and atmosphere to meet with students, and it has good food and beverage as well. I like their paninis, coffee drinks, and Magic Bars!

I was only there to siphon the Wi-Fi and drink their coffee. The service was excellent and the coffee was hot and fresh!
