As a loyal customer of Sunglass Hut for many years, I am very disappointed in the customer service at this location. I have purchased a handful of designer sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, all of which have been kept in great condition for more than 4 years. I recently purchased a pair of Gucci sunglasses which I absolutely love. I brought them in after 4 months because they started to sit weird on my face. Instead of listening to what I was saying, the associate was quick to interrupt and said that I am at fault. I have never had a problem with ANY of my sunglasses and never had to come back to the store to have something fixed. While I understand that they deal with things like this on the daily, I did not expect to be treated this bad. The associate even went as far as saying These glasses are not defective just because you think they are, I dont see any defect. I was blamed for sitting, stepping, and not taking care of my glasses just because it has been 4 months since they were purchased. The associates attempt at making me feel like an inferior customer was outright rude and unprofessional. She didnt even want to give me her name or contact info when asked. She kept redirecting me to some site where I can file a claim which doesnt even exist, believe me, I checked. I was also disappointed in the fact that she tried to send me to the original store where the glasses were purchased. To my understanding, if I purchase sunglasses at any Sunglass Hut in the US I am able to go to ANY sunglass hut location for any problems. She told me there is nothing I can do for you here, while attempting to bend and stretch the arms of my sunglasses which was not the problem AT ALL. Rude, disrespectful, and full of assumptions. Never in my life have I experienced something like this. Not all customers come in with an agenda. Remember that the next time you want to dismiss a loyal customer.

The manager was very very rude. I was trying to buy a pair of Ray-Bans, and while looking at the glasses I wanted to buy I leaned on her little work station. There was nothing at all on it. She yelled at me saying dont lean on that, its very rude. After that, I walked out. I bought a pair of glasses from a kiosk that was in the mall instead. I will never shop there again

To the person who said we called security because of your skin color and tattoos; I am so very sorry that you felt that was the reason, it was not. FMPD was never called, just security, we never found the glasses. The only reason security was called was because you were the last person to touch the glasses that were missing (on camera), and we could not find where they went. I was the one who was desperately searching the store to help you find them. HOWEVER, at the end of the day, I feel terrible that we left you with an experience that I know many people of color still echo today, and I will do my personal best to never make anyone feel that way again. At the end of the day you kept your $200 and I dont blame you, if it had been my friend i would have done the same thing. I hope that in time you and your friend can forgive us for that experience.

After spending $200 on glasses and the employees smiling in my face, I walk out of the store with the bag and receipt in hand to only be accused of stealing. Instead of the employee doing her job and organizing the glasses or to look if theyre actually missing we get security and FMPD to the scene only to find out the stolen items were just in the wrong section. I am a human being with melanin and tattoos but in their eyes they seen a thief even after I spent $200 in the store. I felt embarrassed and disgusted to how I was treated.
