I go to pick up strawberries. Nine boxes I went through and each one had a ton of mold. I’m done with this store. They never have what I need. I’ll drive the extra two minutes down the road to Publix. Good riddance!

I stop at this location every week to pick up fresh flowers for my office. They always have a nice selection. And it conveniently on my way into Fort Myers.

I feel as if this manager( melody, Melanie, idec) was being really rude to me and my friend when we came in one day, and we didn’t expect the rudeness from her, ion like that. Idk who she thought she was either, she needs more training

I mostly shop at The Colonial Winn Dixie. Good prices on most things I purchase. It was nice having a cashier take the time to write a quick note for my son and me for serving in U. S. M. C., while I was waiting in line.

Weve been sol busy lately, the delivery service comes in handy. Produce is fresh and our orders have been exactly as placed.

Depressing customer service I had a problem with the water vending machine that is in poor condition takes your cash and does not give you the water and they dont even put a sign that it is in poor condition so that you dont use it

Worst stocked store Ive ever seen. 80% of ad items missing and this is Thursday morning 9 a.m. when I asked why i was given the pat answer the covid villian is responsible. You should go in Publix they have their ad items.

Love the store and dislike limits. Please dont. Dont force limits on to de people. We the people understand if you run out of something.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SHOPPINGSOMEWHERE ELSE...Here are 2 reasons#1 The clerk in the liquor store was very unfriendly and unhelpful when I entered in search of a specific item.#2 I encountered HUGELY BAD SERVICE while checking out during another visit.A store associate came over when he heard there was a problem. Instead of trying to help fix it, he said that he needed to go do something else and abruptly left.A second then proceeded to tell me I was rude because I raised my voice during the situation.Imagine that, a store clerk whose salary is paid by customer purchases tells one of them that she is rude.The store associates need to attend training to learn respect for the people who help them keep their jobs.I will NEVER shop there again and will continue to tell others about these really BAD experiences.

I really dont like writing bad reviews but I really need to get this bad experience off my chest. I hope that HQ read this review and correct the problem in this store. I have applied to work in this store several times with no luck. Finally I was able to speak to the Customer Service Manager in regards of an application that I submitted I was clear and honest with him about my work availability. The manager said that he was able to work with me in regards to my availability. I am only available to work Sunday to Thursday but not Friday sundown until Saturday sundown due to my religion I observed the Sabbath, he said he was fine with that and told me to call him that same day at 3pm enough time to review my application. When he reviewed my application he said over the phone that unfortunately my availability is unacceptable and I can try to reapply with availability to work Saturday and Sunday. I questioned him about what he said when I was there in person he said that this decision was made by HQ. I felt that what he said was a lie and he said good luck on your job search and hung up on me, wow if Winn Dixie is hiring liars and discriminative people to manage this specific store then they need to really make conscious decisions when hiring because this is obviously discrimination on the basis of religion. I cannot believe it this made me feel like never shopping here again and I dont shop here anymore because now I know how some employees really feel about respecting others religion when it comes to working there. They dont care at all. Is HQ aware of this behavior? At least I was willing to work on Sunday. Its still a weekend.

Chicken and ribs are amazing. The kids loved this mac and cheese. Only reason I am giving them 4 starts is because the deli wraps are very dry. You have to make sure you know the specials because no one in the deli is just going to recommend a better deal. Other then that we will definitely be returning!!

WOW what a difference Winn-Dixie has made! Clean store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection and sales. They even do rain checks on some items. I went ahead and got a rewards card as I do intend to stop in more frequently. Grabbed the BBQ Rotisserie Chicken and Loaded Potato Salad. 😋

Amazing employees who went over the top to help me! Havent been in that store in about 16 years. I live in East Fort Myers. However, when I am in the area I will have a prepared grocery list in my phone. I was kind of lost in spite of the good signs, but got good assistance. Just need to get acquainted with the aisles. (Pretty store) Having your Chef Salad right now and a bit of sliced watermelon. Yep, sale items.

Great prices great deals and the fact that they gave out covid-19 supplies for free makes this store my favorite store ever. More people should wish for people like Melody and her staff to be as courteous and caring about their community

I must say what an improvement the store has made, The employees are amazing and so helpful although prices are sometimes a bit high I have a great shopping experience. Other then that my biggest issue with the store is management, I’ve seen it couple of times how the store manager Melody treats her employees very poorly, she’s very rude and try’s to hide her true colors with a fake smile and hello. As a manager myself in my business my employees are very important to me, I treat them with respect and with that I gain respect back from them, and much more. I believe this issue should be solved cause I will not stand to see anymore disrespect from that woman as much as I am pleased with the store I will do my shopping elsewhere, I truly hope something gets done about this soon, nobody no matter what work position they are in should be treated so badly.

Edit: Since their remodel all staff have been helpful. Seems they have been hiring better employees or have had them properly trained. Lately every experience there is great. I shop here all the time and employees are happy to help. Have nothing but great things to say. Change from 4 stars to 5. My favorite Winn Dixie in Fort Myers.Original:I like coming here rather than Publix because Winn Dixie seems to have a fresher/better looking meat selection. The main thing is their customer service is terrible here, be prepared to not ask employees any questions for they never know the answer, or do not offer help. When checking out it is obvious that they are understaffed as they usually only have 3 registers open with lines of 5-7 customers in each creating a crowded check out area. Only because I dont want them to shut down I will continue to shop here they do have good sales and the liquor store employees are actually very helpful and friendly. Its a good place to shop on your own and not be bothered.

A clean and neat supermarket with a friendly and helpful staff. I just wish they could better anticipate how much stock they should carry when they have items on sale. ...so much nicer to get a sale product the day you want it instead of getting a rain check to purchase it at a later date.

I have loved that store since it opened. Its always clean and the employees are so friendly and helpful. Ive moved to North Fort Myers now and Im so disappointed on the 2 stores over here. One is filthy and understocked and the other is somewhat clean stopped but most of the employees are not friendly at all you always have to bag your own groceries no matter how much money you spend and you never get help taking groceries out to your car where is the customer service

This store is full of great sales and employees. They strive to do better all the time. But, unfortunately, MANAGEMENT MELODY IS A HORRIBLE STORE MANAGER TO HER EMPLOYEES. THIS STORE IS A REVOLVING DOOR DUE TO INCOMPETENT AND RUDE MANAGEMENT. THEY HAVE LITERALLY PUSHED EVERYONE OUT THE DOOR. SAD .. SOMEONE WILL CALL HR AND GET INVOLVED IN THIS. I WONT BE THE FIRST. EMPLOYEES WONT EVER GET TREATED RIGHT BY MANAGEMENT. ASK THE CURRENT EMPLOEES YOURSELF.

We had ordered a week in advance 3 platters of sandwiches for the weekend and only two were ready. We had to alternate to a different meal which was not according to the plan. The flavor was ok but the service needs improvement. The price was not the most reasonable either. I would triple verify that the order will be ready and complete hours before just to make sure everything is as ordered. But its still a good store.

CLAUS is awesome! The man is sharp and really great at his job. We pass 4 other stores we could shop at just because of him. He greets us as soon as we enter and is always SO helpful. Hes a keeper! My whole family loves this guy!

We stocked up on all we needed for Thanksgiving. My twin two year old boys pushed their own shopping carts. It was the cutest feature this store has. The little mini carts have a handle for the parent to help direct their child and let them really join in on the shopping experience.

Even when its busy with short staff and long lines the employees managed greatly so that your not waiting in life forever.meat/seafood department is awesome also!!

Great store and prices. But lack in customer service, cashier was rude. Not one person bagging groceries. Figured since I have to bag them myself and argue with a cashier about my card they push so hard is ridiculous. Publix has bogos as well. Actually bag and bring your groceries to your car.

Very open and a pleasure to shop. I went in here only because it was close to work and I needed something, but the aisles are so wide and everything is so clean and easy to get to, it was a pleasure shopping here. I hate that most stores pile so many things in the aisles that you can walk around somebody if there in the aisle with a cart. Plenty of open space and this store :)

I like going to Winn Dixie to shop. It is easy to get into and out of. They are super friendly. They offer a lot of great specials as well. Their fruits and vegetables are of good quality.

Really happy with the selection in the international aisle, and the fact that they actually put different nationalities on the signage. Other stores Ive gone to, it will simply be either Hispanic and you have to hope there are other products, or they simply put International and still have a lot of guesswork. Point is, I was pleased with the variety, selection, and representation.

Went to the liquor store very nice liquor store. Honored all sales on the liquor they had in their flyer. Store was very clean and organized. Very orderly, polite and helpful staff.

Go there basically when we have to. Not my favorite store, but I have to raise my rating to a 3 based on the courteous customer service folks whom I have recently encountered. Theyre trying to do their best to elevate the rep of the store.

Good place. This store is very clean and has very good prices. They usually have many buy one get one free deals. And you save a substantial amount of money by using their free Winn Dixie shopping card. Not only that but when you shop there you earn money off of gallons of gasoline at Shell. It is a really good deal. When you go to get gas you just answer your Winn Dixie card and you can get 5 cents off per gallon or 20 cents off per gallon depending on how much you spent in groceries. It makes a big difference in your gas budget. And there is no charge for it. I dont know why everyone does not do this.

I give Winn Dixie a 3 star. Prices are higher than Walmart, however, it is a clean store and looks nice but I need lower prices. Winn Dixie used to be reasonable but they are now competing with Publix who are insanely higher than any grocery around. Food is food people, shop cheaper stores and send a message!

You can find some good deals here. But it seems everytime we get fruit from this place it isnt too great. Id recommend for the great deals, but maybe stay clear of the fruit unless its a price you cant pass up.

Went late on a Saturday for some last minute party supplies. They had everything we needed, and were helpful to find what we needed. My first time in a Winn-Dixie, weird I know, but will be going back.

Not much I can say. Its rather typical, so you will have no particular problems. Could be cleaner / The pharmacy gets a one. They either ask you to come back next day. Even if you call, your order always seems backed up. You will usually have to wait. Sometimes you get home and something is missing. It can be frustrating .ALWAYS call first.

This location is always very clean and staff are helpful, have never had an issue. Lines move quickly and I prefer this location over some other nearby stores, many discounts and deals always going on also.

Love there 2 for 1 sales and their k-cups are almost always on sale. Not to mention their plenty card that helps you build points for certain items even in their liquor store that you can use as cash at a bunch of other places. The lines are never to long and their staff are usually friendly.

I like Winn Dixie. They have an excellent selection of beef, they always have. However, their prices are a little on the high side.They do run specials in the paper so you can get good deals if youre looking.

Good supermarket

This location does not accept the return of unopened alcohol even with a receipt. There is no law against returning alcohol in the state of Florida, however this is what they will tell you at the register. They also do not inform you that all sales are final, Nor is there any merchant sign stating no returns are accepted. It is entirely up to the manager to accept or deny a return and here they Will not do them, but do not believe them when they tell you it is against the law. All other stores accept the return of alcohol with a receipt.

This is a newer Winn Dixie with a modern look. The checkout lines are never too long. I prefer Publix, but I give this location 5 stars on the Winn-Dixie scale.

Terrible. Always out of food supply. Nothing is up to date lasting longer than 1 week. Staff rude and not willing to help. I keep trying to shop there only for emergency stuff Zbut Even that has to stop. Shame this store is so close to our home and useless. Most of our community shop for their groceries elsewhere.

Went in yesterday March 20th around 6 pm to buy groceries. While I did not see anyone who was visibly ill or coughing, I am greatly concerned that none of the staff was wearing personal protective equipment . Please make or allow them to wear gloves and masks for customer and employee protection
