The best convenient store in Diamond Hill, hands down! They treat regulars like family and are super accepting of every kind heart they meet, no matter who you are or how little cash you have to spend. Theres a $3 minimum for debit/credit card transactions, but the ATM works fine.Ive noticed almost every day when I swing by for beer and cigs that as the customers walk out the door, they almost always seem like their day got a little brighter just from the few seconds they spent at the till chatting as they pay. I wish I could work here, but I could never do as good a job as this lovely family-owned business.PS- Dont worry about being in a rough-looking neighborhood; its the safest place Ive ever lived, and this is my 39th home, and I think I found the place I belong after 23 years on Gods green earth. Were actually a super friendly community, and a lot of us are more interested in being helpful than hurtful. Just watch your head for tree branches on the sidewalks, and youll be safer than a seatbelt :)
