Great small Indian cash and carry. Good selection of puja supplies, helpful staff, even though I was NOT Indian the staff was eager to help. Good hot food counter, good selection of rice, spices and weird Indian foodstuffs ! Will always visit when Im in Fresno.
Best quality Punjabi grocery store where you never have to worry about expired items on the shelves or getting overcharged unlike the other stores in the area.
Really nice Indian grocery store...and sweets are very delicious... You can order online your food for to-go.. they have everything specially related to north indian culture..
Everyone who works here are always so helpful. And they always have what Im looking for
Good food nice Indian Grocery most of you will find everything
The best sweets in Fresno and very friendly plus the best grocery selection
Great choices, prices, and treats! Always feels exciting walking in.
One convenient place to buy groceries at reasonable price and also ready-made freshly cooked food to go.
Everyone is really nice when I go in with my husband, but not so much when I go alone. When I go in alone or with my kids, the elderly guy is rude and ignorant.
Best Indian grocery store, and good prices. I liked it.
Awesome collection in Indian groceries at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Nice indian food here.I like this place.
Too expensive. Butter $20 for bucket fresco was $10. Paneer was expensive. No prices and when got to the counter I felt like over charged.
Good food but had to wait even if u order on phone
NICE PLACE FOR ASIAN PEOPLE’S
Not a friendly staff they have . Turban guy on register (tatto on arm) seems to have some attitude problem.I’m not from Fresno city, just visted once during one of my trip . We’ll prefer to go to another Indian store if there is any in that area.
Friendly staff,I’m going every week, good service.
One of my fav place, eveything looks like fresh their with good attitude of staff members, thanks
Samosas that I ordered were so bad, literally full of bread crumbs or they found some other substitute for potato, really disappointed
Prices are way to high compare to other Indian grocery stores. Short guy in the front with turban overcharges. If something is being sold for $1.99 they will manually enter $2.00. If you complaint about it, their usual answer is $1.99 and $2.00 is same. If you do that to 100 customers daily you are scamming public for $30 every month. I am not trying to be cheap but every penny counts.Kitchen: chef and kitchen staff preparing food without gloves and mask. A high risk place to catch CoVID and flu. Very crowdedPositives: owners have good nature and talk very politely. They have pretty much everything inside the store.
They have everything, one can possible need in indian kitchen
Very rude staff, the guy on cash started talking in Punjabi and when I said I dont understand Punjabi, he started laughing.I guess owner should tell the staff that this is Canada and staff needs to come out of their Punjab obsession.Never go to this store
Delicious food for a fair price. Make sure to call ahead since it is fixed fresh and will take longer.
Good indian groceries store
Everything available at good price. But please throw away your Parle G and Good day biscuits. They have been expired for past six months
Great place to eat n lot of produce. Staff is good. But people visiting here are not meaning not wearing proper face mask. I believe store owners should enforce face mask policy
Good Service and Clean Store
👎👎👎Food are not Good. Grocery are Very Old .Please Check all Date on It ...Thank You
Nice selection of Indian/ Pakistani foods and products
Very bad Service 11/01/2021.
Nice, clean store. Great inventory selection. If you have a plant-based lifestyle like me swing by for spices and Indian cuisine.
Too much expensive and rude staff
I just got 6 samosa and i find hair in the samosa and chanaa also have 3 hair inside plz i request you if u make a food u need to put gloves and beard should be covered and customer service is zero 🙏
Too expensive and taste is not good
Good place to buy indian food but owners do not listen to you when you have any complain or when you give specific instructions..They are suffering from desi mentality that we are busy and we do not care what people want....

Im totally vegetarian I purchased grocery and 32 oz shahi paneer ..Taste is so so not too good but very worst thing is when we eat dinner they guy mix chicken in shahi paneer. We have to throw away everything
The food is good....wait is tooooo long....packing containers are very inferior material....food recommended for long route truckers...,
Staff is good 👍
I bought vegetable bhindi 🤮🤮 it was smelly, disgusting nobody can eat,, and I try to call him to tell,, but nobody answer my call and bhindi looks like maked before 2 days
Fresh vegetables, fresh food and desserts to go. Fast friendly service
Good food, friendly service
Its good food, fair prices. Its a market, restaurant and a sweets bakery! Oh the galore or variety of sweets, you wont know which to try first. Just be sure to check for any allergens like nuts, dairy etc.. the employees were nice, the customers were helpful in regards to anything we didnt know of. It was tidy, and everything was in its proper place.
Very authentic Indian grocer. This is where you go to get the stuff you need for Indian cooking. They also have a sweets counter. They do serve food too although I have not eaten here yet. Its probably delicious though from just the look of things
Pretty decent Indian grocery store . Almost everything is available there . Their Mithai and Mathi specially methi mathi is yummy, with no extra oil . Ordered Cholley Bhature which were average though .
Best place to get Indian groceries, punjabi food and sweets. All food items they make are delicious. I really like their Amritsari KULCHA.
Convenient location, neat and great service. I highly recommend them!
Sweets very tasty and fast food very good customer service good
I love this place this is a one stop solution to all Indian grocery, what you think you need and cant find it call them and ask for it Im pretty sure they got it. Loved the collection of Indian sweets they have and specially Jalebi ...you can also find goat meat here..overall this a perfect Indian Big Bazzar Alias in Fresno.
I go there because of their very good communication with customers and food is very good too. I am their regular customer from five years.
We had a overnight Stop in Fresno on our road trip. Found this place to be very authentic. If you really want to get the flavour of good north Indian food try out this place. Please note that the it not a great place to sit down and have your lunch/dinner. Takeaway is a much option.
Fresno’s worst food🤬Don’t waste money and time
Bad service for Restorant I order paratha by phone guy say 30,40 min I come after 40 min what not ready my food bad experience
Try the amritsari kulcha... nom nom nom... all food is very fresh & tasty... good customer service...
From best samosa in town to worst. All I taste is used oil.
I have been ordering from this place for a couple months now and the last three times I ordered from here they have given me old spoiled food and this time I received stale and old Roti (Tortillas bread). This is very unprofessional and unacceptable from a restaurant.
Order Samosa, the worst i ever had. Also purchase some grocery, noticed price gouching compare to other competitors. Seems like new owner. I wont go back again.
Food not good
They have plenty of options in every category (food, grocery, spices, utensils, snacks and sweets
I’m trucker I ordered food.they gave me torquaya instead roti.
Nobody take care about customer complaint the punjabi guy say me dont say me about this talk to owner
Best Indian store in terms of prices and selection. I usually go to the stores in Bakersfield but whenever Im in Fresno, Ill go out of my way to shop here. Havent tried the food, but Ive heard its pretty good. But as far as your Indian grocery shopping, this place is by far way superior than their competitors. Keep up the good work guys...
Bad store ever
My daughter-in-law and I had a wonderful time visiting this store yesterday! They fit many treasures into a small space. We hope to return for takeout food tonight as it looked amazing!
Dont buy laddu and jalebi from here. Very Bad smell they use old material. Yes, but groceries ok ..
Bad food ever
Massie food
Their food is usually fine but Bhature were very heavy and oily. Yukkk.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldnt stop. Definitely worth a return visit. The place has an awesome atmosphere.
I just feel writing a lot so please dont mind me . So here my honest feelings about this place. Here I go.Well, the food they serve according to my experience, is fresh. Its not close to how the Indian fast food taste like in india, but its not that far off too. Theyve variety of punjabi culture related stuff and the things that often punjabis use in daily life back in India.Definitely recommendable. But the most bad thing about this place is they serve so unprofessionally, they treat customers like the Indian grocery store employees treat their customers in India, like they dont care. You can feel the contrast between these kind of restaurants and other American restaurants, and Im talking about respect, care for their customersJust wanted to write a long review. ✌
Don’t order the samosas! Not fresh and the filling was horrible.
Very bad service.. was mosquito in our food ... they didnt even feel sorry when I told them.. the guy in the front was not even payin attention when we were trying to tell about the service
Good place
Amazing food great deserts love this place
Shan-e- Punjab is an awesome place. Its basically an Indian grocery store that has a restaurant inside. The grocery store has all the normal amenities like bulk grains and spices. The restaurant seating area is not large, but its big enough and kind of secluded from the groceries if you want to stop in for a bite. What makes this place is the food in the restaurant. The quality is very high and the traffic proves it. It gets very busy towards dinner time with both dine in and take out. In fact, quality is so high on the priority list that there are dishes they flat out wont make if they cant get a batch of quality spices in to make it.From what I understand, Shan-e- actually supplies allot of the local Indian restaurants with product for their kitchens. So if you want it straight from the supplier from amazing chefs then check this place out. You wont be disappointed!
Expensive
Everything good but staff is very rude
In Fresno this store is the one with biggest variety. They have their own brand of spices too.
Bad service
Very bad quality food, Tortillas instead of Roti, Totally Tomato puree in Butter Chicken....🤮🤮
The best place to get Lycamobile prepaid SIM cards and recharge pluse they also sell unlocked phone for india
Very nice and comprehensive desi grocery store with awesome sweets and other food varieties. Especially their samosas. Otherwise klean and nicely arrangements of items. Though Lil pricey store.
1 stop for all ur needs
Too expensive for a place to be in Fresno, more expensive than the bay area, I understand the prices on an imported good, but not on the local one.
Very good service and friendly staff, food like pure punjabi taste
Food is awesome. And you can get whatever indian grocery you need.
Tasty food!! Very homely, warm vibe, very comfortable to walk throughout and the selection is wide and really good! There is even powder for Holi here!
Bad experience...order goat curry today and they give me old one .like 3 to 4 days old.full with only goat bone not meat.i never come back at this place
The service here is attentive. This place has a good design. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.
