Loved the older gentleman who says he just started working there to bare with him and ask him for anything. He was kind and he did a good job with the customers ahead of me. Nice big store. Variety of souvenirs that wont break the bank 🤑

Me and Husband initially saw the store/gas station the night before our visit to pop in and grab some drinks. We were greeted with You have 30 minutes! by the older lady running the front. The rest of our transaction was pretty awkward to say the least but I figured maybe she had a rough day or she was tired. During our night visit we saw that they had food during the day and the pictures they had outside of the food looked delicious. So the next day my husband and I decided to try it for lunch. We got there about 2:30pm (10/12/2021), it seemed to be a slow time for them as no one but us and the employees were there. When we went to order our food the older gentleman (the cook) seemed irritated and not very friendly. Half of the menu was unavailable so instead of getting the chicken gyros like we wanted, my husband ordered the burger and I ordered the fried shrimp (big mistake). Despite the bad customer service from the cook and, once again, the older lady in the front, we paid $25.96 for our meals. Once we got our food I realized that it looked nothing like the pictures. I didnt expect everything to be perfect but on the picture it showed the meal came with crinkle fries and what we received was brown seasoned fries. We took our food and sat down at the tables they have in the front. It had a cute Mom and Pop Shop vibe but also an awkward one. I say awkward because while we were eating our food, the older lady from the front had a man stack boxes next to our table and then proceeded to have a business meeting with him at the table next to us. Im not sure if they have an office area but the experience was all around awkward and unprofessional. The worst part of it was that I got food poisoning from the questionable fried shrimp that was served. The last day of our vacation was spent sick at the hotel. Moral of the story, always trust your gut... and read the reviews before you try the product.

Really cool gift shop. A little pricey, but its a resort place. Thats expected.

This place literally has everything. So much stuff that u can hardly get around. Definitely not handicap and stroller friendly. I could barely squeeze between the racks my self let alone holding a baby.

We always have to make a stop at Dolphin World, they have such a huge selection and it has a lil food restaurant in there too incase you get hungry while shopping. Ive been going here since i was a little kid and now i bring my wife and daughter to keep the tradition.

Go to the rental shop to buy your souvenirs ! The prices and service is better!!! Anyway....The Cashier was slow and not getting what two other customers in front of me was saying. When my turn came up I asked for itemization of the purchase as seems more than expected and the guy starts holding the items up in front of my face !Hes rude cause he doesnt speak good English then the supervisor lady comes and asks me to leave instead of ringing me up herself? Wth...The prices are random and high Plus any good Mgr would have someone who Speaks English well enough to interact with customers Especially on a Holiday!!!

The signs dont match the prices. When asking them about how 3 items ended up being $50, they were unnecessarily rude about it. Two of the items had .99 signs on them, but were actually 9.99. They even said themselves that EVERYONE IS CONFUSED about the price of said items, but are they? Seems like yall need to get your signs right if your customers all have the same understanding of a lower price. Also, the no food was available like the whole building had pictures of food on it, but nothing was available? Just a weird experience overall

This shop is amazing if looking for cool souvenirs to bring home! The selection is huge! Some may be a little over priced but plenty of gifts under $5. Glad we found this place.

We were merely passing by when we were hit with the amazing smells coming from the smoked turkey legs outside. We turned around and decided to give this gem of a business a try. We enjoyed fresh Shrimp Po Boys from inside, smoked sausage and turkey legs from outside, and purchased some fun souvenirs for great prices from the shop. Our favorite part, by far, was getting to sit on the patio and chat with the owner. What an amazing man! Well be back next time were in town to try the gyros, buy some more treasures from the shop, stuff ourselves with more BBQ from the truck outside, and talk old Italy and family with our favorite business owner on the Seawall.

Walking by on the way to another location, we smelled the oak smoke from the smoker going which drew us in. We ordered turkey legs and sausage on a stick. It was amazing. We also had the shrimp and catfish from inside which was freshly made infront of us. Pleasantly surprised. After eating, the owner introduced himself and was extremely friendly.

They print what you want on clothing, but it was hard to find blank shirts, hoodies and jackets in the right size to print on. Medium and large sizes. Also 3 of the designs I requested were unavailable so I had to settle. The prices for the clothes are very reasonable.

Nice place to go along the beach. All the products necessary to have a good time at Galveston Beach here in Texas. I didnt get a chance to try the restaurant but it looked pretty good too. I was able to get a swimsuit.

Interesting place that smells really weird. Has some chinese knock off junk. That is SO Angelica from Rugrats. Lotsa clothes and other touristy junk. But it smells so funky, we didnt stay long at all.

Went in to grab lunch and they didnt even look busy at all and we were quickly stopped by the lady taking orders for her to tell us it would be 20 mins before she could even take our order because they were too busy. We were looking forward to the turkey legs and some fried fish! We decided to go somewhere else because we had young kids with us who were super hungry and that same lady was outside smoking and was trying to hide behind the building because she had just told us she was too busy to take our order.

To crowded and way over priced!

The store was okay but the sizes for the clothing were just small not a lot of selection. The worst part was the lady working in the back kitchen making the food. She was rude to the customers who were asking questions about food and it was not a language barrier because she was rude to the person I was with who ordered in Spanish. I was going to order as well but decided I didnt want to after she kept being short with every customer that came up to order. Do better or find a job you enjoy this is a vacation spot and people come to have great experiences and that is most definitely not what we got when we ordered food here. There are plenty of places that serve great food and have a great staff so go elsewhere to eat.

I would say its a standard gift shop for tourist.

If I could give 0 I would they charged my card multiple time the tall white male was very rude after I showed him he over charged me and wouldnt give me my refund until the manager came and showed him he over charged me . Left back home and Monday got an alert they were trying to charge my account 3 times more. Definitely would recommend only using cash or going somewhere else. My family members all checked their accounts and they were adding fraudulent charges as well! Cant contact them to resolve the issue because their number is out of service and bank been trying to get ahold of them

Amos is absolutely AMAZING and provides the BEST customer service!!You are able to pick out the T-shirt or sweatshirt you want and then pick out the design you want on it!! They seriously have just about anything you are looking for! Food, clothes, trinkets, drinks and sooo much more!! Highly recommended by a couple of Nebraska girls!

I came into the store, just from the beach to get a TOWEL because mine was soaking wet from the rain and being in the ocean. I WAS wet, but not dripping at all. My shirt was just moist I guess you could say, and one of the employees came up to me and my friends, very rudely, and told me “you are too wet, someone is going to slip. You need to leave.” mind you I came in TO BUY A TOWEL. so I went back to my friends truck and got my towel, which was soaked, and went back in to buy a towel. Now realizing that I shouldn’t have purchased from there because of how rude she was about it, I wasn’t even allowed to speak, she just told me to leave.Also don’t wash the towels with other clothes. It’s stained EVERYTHING.Something more to add now that I remember. When we first arrived to Galveston we looked for somewhere to change into our swim wear, so we walked into this place, found the changing rooms, and changed. When we can out there was a worker standing in front of the rooms, that were made of a thin curtain. She looked at us like we were try to steal their cheap merchandise. Maybe don’t have changing rooms if your just going to watch us change.

EAT HERE! Okay, hear me out... The gentleman cook in the back (very southern hospitality) has great prices on some fried seafood. It tastes amazing. He is the only reason Im giving this place any stars at all!! His food is 10/10!! They also have Blue Bell ice cream!The gentleman at the cash register wasnt very friendly, not that southern hospitality Im used to. The souvenir prices were okay but the shirts seem poorly made, I could see the press outlines on some of them. I also think there were a lot of Texas themed souvenirs but not enough beach themed souvenirs. We didnt end up buying anything from here, we went to Murdochs instead. The boogie boards are cheaper, save yourself $5.

A convenient secret right at the beach road!Fried seafood platter is $16.99: 2 large fried fish, 5 jumbo shrimp, 5 fried oysters, fries and condiments is delicious and their only expensive item. Cajun style oyster or shrimp Po Boys with fries are $11.99. Alcoholic drinks and regular drinks/sodas/water/teas, souvenirs galore, mugs, shells, custom shirts, you name it.What got me the most was their customer service. They have the nicest employees. The cooks are the sweetest people and even the shirt printer gentleman gave me a bottle opener to pop a Mexican import apple soda bottle cap. Good people and a secret spot to eat away from crowds if youre not a bar hopper. Family friendly and is a gas station of all things. Highly recommend. Provided 5 photos.

Stopped here before going to mardi gras last night to buy a souvenir and also needed to use the restroom. I was told there was no restroom in the store which is clearly a lie. There are no signs up saying that restrooms arent open to the public. I will not ever stop to purchase anything from this establishment and will definitely spread the word to family and friends.

The employees were very rude, and there wasnt much of a selection besides cheap stoner shirts anyway.

While enjoying the seawall, my 39 week pregnant wife needed to use the restroom. After trying the already closed public restrooms, we walked across the street to Dolphin World to beg the owners to let her use their toilet. After waiting at the unattended register, a lady who had been sitting in the corner of the store watching us wait for help finally walked towards us to ask what we needed. I politely asked her if my obviously very pregnant wife could use their restroom, and she said the restroom was out of order and told to use the already closed public toilet across the street. We asked her where she would go to the restroom and she then asked us to leave.

Pretty sad they are open until midnight, but yet closed by 1130!!!

There is a Godfathers Pizza inside this shop. Its amazing! The fish is fried perfectly: not to oily, just the right amount of crunch. The ice cream is also highly recommended as it is thoroughly delicious. The actual shop has postcards and other souvenirs worth looking through. Enjoy!

I don’t know what the eff just happened there but its basically a store of cute,kinda overpriced knick knacks, argumentative old arabic men and their teenage son-employees who are constantly arguing and putting the customer on the spot during their arguments.also they sell cigs and gasoline.The clothes section is basically 1980s dad t shirts and miami vice stripper beachwear.I was standing in line to check out, being grilled by the old man about which of his sons messed up my cash purchase of gasoline and i Kinda didnt want to continue purchase because I was afraid my CC number would be stolen. But cute hand bags though.

I love this place. The owner is very generous to people. While I was there I saw a man come in that looked homeless. He was very hot and the owner who is from Israel, called the man brother, and asked if he wanted a bottle of water. Before the man could answer the owner went and got a bottle of water for him and told him it was on the house and for the guy to have a good day. I was there for about 2 hours because I ate and shopped for a bit and I saw the same thing again. Great place and great food.

Do not go here I’m guessing he’s the owner an older gentleman was a major jackass to one of his employees as well as is the poor kid accidentally messed up a shirt we got and he yelled at the poor kid telling him he was gonna fire him and all that stuff if he did it again the kid was no older than 16 maybe and was a complete jackass to us saying if we were smarter and looked around the corner we’d see the children’s shirts that the design we picked was to big that’s why it didn’t stick. We were told we could pick any smaller design which we did and a bigger design had been placed on our 2 month olds shirt than was getting placed on our 2 year olds shirt (we own a T-shirt company and know for a fact that wasn’t the problem) save your money and go somewhere else if I could give this place zero stars I would

If lighter costs 99c and change from 20$ was 9$, or somebody didnt learn math in school or cheat on purpose, not big money, but a big effect on the reputation

Went in to buy a bottle of water. I walked around the store to check out the rest of the merchandise. I got up to the counter to pay for my water and the clerk informed me that he had called the police on me for breaking the door on the cooler. After waiting for the police to show (about 15min) and getting our stories the policeman let me leave because he knew the clerks story didn’t add up. I’ve never in my life been treated like this and I don’t know how they run a business that way. I wouldn’t step foot on this property EVER!

Had a lot of suverniors for Galveston which was nice but a little too expensive for them. They also have a restaurant as well but again too expensive. I understand its across the beach but its not a 4 star restaurant. I did ended buying a few items though because it was for my grandchildren.
