They were fantastic! We had horrible problems with Galveston Golf Carts or whatever they’re called on the seawall and Coastal Cruisers saved the day AND it was $50 less expensive for 24 hours! Everyone there was very friendly & helpful as well! Definitely recommend getting your golf carts from them!

GREAT place to rent a golf cart from, GREAT price. Golf cart was easy to use and very comfortable. Everyone was really helpful with tips of what to see/where to go. Will definitely rent from here when on the island again!

Great customer service, great experience with using this company for my sons birthday trip to Galveston. I will definitely be using them each time Im here. Some of these negative reviews about people letting their kids hang off the carts are ridiculous that is the parents fault not this companys fault. Only bad experience driving the cart was the other drivers going 50mph instead of the speed limit.

We rented two cruiser golf carts to run around the island. We had a blast. We took them to the strand to participate in a treasure hunt. We were able yo drive them in the area just fine. The carts were clean and fully charged when we picked up. We were able to drive for hours without the batteries even slowing down.

I would not take my cart here again.We asked to have running lights installed and our roof modified. We were told to drop our cart off and come back the following Saturday, it would be ready.We came back the following Saturday to find that nothing at all had been done to the cart.We gave it two more weeks. We asked for the cart to be charged up when we came back so we could drive it home.We came back to pick the cart up. We were assured the cart had been charged up. It had not. Halfway home it died.The way to tell when Dave the Proprietor is lying is you look to see if his lips are moving.Never again will we take our cart here for any reason.

We had a great time on the cart! Just the right size for a family of four, we got to explore the strand also. Glad we did it! Carts all seemed to be new, basic but new and great.

My husband, son and I were looking for a place to rent a, street legal, golf cart while vacationing. Based on reviews we called a different company. They referred us to Coastal Cruizers based on our need for street legal carts. They were incredibly accommodating and very nice to deal with. The cost was very reasonable. Lesson learned; do not always judge a company strictly by a few bad reviews. I would highly recommend Coastal Cruizers.

Dustin changed out the rear end of my golf cart in the CVS parking lot on his day off. It was 97 degrees outside and no shade. He is definitely a great person.

I took my golf cart to Coastal Cruisers because it had an electrical short and would not run. After four days they called me and told me that it was fixed. I asked him how much it cost. They said $196. When I got there I asked him what was wrong with the cart. They said a wire had come Undone behind the ignition switch. When I questioned the price of the repair he said that it took them 2 hours to find the loose wire. You charge $100 an hour for labor? He replied that it was because of overhead. Beware!

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST!!! My friend planned a whole girls weekend to her place in Galveston and she was so excited to show us around using their golf carts. On our very first trip using them, two of the three golf carts died. When we called the company, they said it was our problem and they wouldn’t help us. We were left stranded to get a tow and another mode of transportation to where we were going. Stay clear of this company if you’re looking for reliable golf carts and good customer service!!!

My family rented several golf carts for the weekend and were EXTREMELY disappointed when the first ride of the day we had a cart stop working, we called immediately to let Coastal Cruisers know and they responded that is was our responsibility to secure the cart!!!! Then a second cart stopped working! We ended up having to have them towed home. The following morning I called and asked that they be picked up, while on the phone with Dustin he said we would get a full refund, which did not happen. We received a partial refund- when I called and inquired about the missing refund the owner stated we had the carts for a day and he charged us accordingly. Very disappointed and will NEVER rent from them again!

Shame on you!! Two of your carts out on Seawall Blvd at 9pm in heavy traffic with little ones hanging out of the cars completely unrestrained! One child couldnt have been more than three years old. So dangerous and irresponsible!

Watched the show. After Richard Rawlings turned them around, the owner was ungrateful. Unreal. Dude is a slob and turned his showroom and yard into a garbage pit again. Hes making money for now but bad habits will sink him. Didnt learn a damn thing. I would never rent from him or have him touch my cart.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!These folks ripped us off big time. Two of our three carts broke down within hours of pulling out of the lot. The owner could care less and basically left us stranded to call Uber to transport everyone and AAA to have them towed to safety. They then picked up the carts and would not give us a refund! Worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. There are other rental places on the Island.....steer clear from this one!!’

Please respond to the reviewers that only know your business from watching TV. I am also one of those people. I do live locally in Alvin. Once the weather warms up, I will be renting from you. But, you guys need to give a response to all the negative reviews based on a very negative TV presense.

This company is a scam! They came and picked up my mothers cart and told them they were tiki island carts. We didnt hear from tiki island carts for weeks so we went up to the place in tiki and asked for her cart back. They didnt have it. The nice people at tiki island carts called this company and asked if they had my mothers cart. It was a green precedent stretch. They said no. Then what do you know we get a call from them saying our cart is done. And picked it up from COASTAL cruizers. They pretended to be another company to steal business and put another companies name in the mud. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Looking at the various Google photos of the place, it looks like Gas Monkey stole another property by Spending a lot of money and bankrupting the business and sell the property at a profit for them screwing the previous business owner. Again.
