I actually miss my Meriden store. The people in this store are starting to warm up to me so I guess that makes the experience a little better right? The truth is : any retail establishment that depends on the customers patronage to survive should acknowledge and at least greet those who enter. I have high hopes for this store. This Hamden after all....

Pier 1 has always been an overpriced store, but you can find great deals on their clearance rack.On a side note, I used to go to Pier 1 in Milford 20 or so years ago. For some reason, they had wooden ninja swords. Every time I go to Pier 1 I look for these swords.

Really pretty stuff. A bit more expensive than in IKEA but really good quality.
