Great place to buy a car. Almost all dealers are marking their cars $2,000 over the sticker price but this place is not doing that. They actually care about the customers and are not making excuses to jack up the prices.
Mike Merritt was my salesman and very attentive and professional. He made the car purchasing process as painless as possible and there were no surprises. The rest of the staff there were equally as courteous and professional. Highly recommend Mike and Faulkner!
Today I waited 45 minutes to be told, “ yes your recall is verified and we’ve ordered the part.“ Really? That couldn’t have been done over the phone in October when I called to schedule the Hyundai advised computer software update?! And does a software update even need a ‘part?’Sad 😞 time waste at Faulkner today.

I recently bought a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and I absolutely love it! The service was great, everyone was friendly and professional. The car was cleaned up nicely before I left with it. My only complaint is that I was offered so little for my previous car, which I ended up keeping.
Did the full service but they didn’t wash my car. It said car wash is complementary but no car was!! Other than that all good.
I’m am very devastated with the sales person. We took the car for a test drive. The sales guy told us that since we were there, we were his first priority. We tried to agree on a price but we didn’t come to a agreement. We than asked for $200 off but they still didn’t agree. We knew that they would not lower the price so my brother went to the car to get a card for the deposit so no one can take the car. Then the sales person comes in a says that someone already made a deposit for that car!! How is this possible?? Why did they say that we were their FIRST PRIORITY???
First time at Faulkner however not my first experience with a Hyundai. And, so far I am loving my new 2022 Hyundai Elantra! No issues. And, Faulkner made my car buying experience very easy. It took 2 weeks before anyone could diagnose my car because they were short staffed. Amy was pretty pleasant to work with aside from her not returning multiple calls initially. Once they diagnosed my car I was able to get a loaner, and things went smoothly after that. It took a little over a month to fix my car due to being short staffed. I got my car back last week, and runs great so far 🤞🏿.
I received Oustanding Service from the entire Faulkner Hyundai service department. I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sedan that needed an electrical part replaced. Due to the nationwide shipping issue, there was delay for parts. However, I was immediately provided a loaner vehicle and my car was returned repaired and cleaned. Mike Merritt is such a great help. He was very easy to work with for me being a first time car buyer. He called me a couple days after I got my car and hoped I was doing well and was wishing me well on an interview I had coming up that we talked about. What a freakin LEGEND. If all your employees were like him, youd be selling out the lots day in and day out.
The sale person, Mike, was stupendous. He was caring, friendly and very professional. The disappointment was with a supervisor in the dealership. We purchased the car and took it home. The next day, it started to make noise when breaking. Mike was pleasant and told us to bring the car back to check it. After the car was checked, a supervisor told us that some cars have noisy breaks and that he does not sell lemons. It was insulting!! The car still has noisy breaks. It was extremely disappointing. We have purchased cars from CarMax and NEVER, NEVER had an experience like that!! I will never buy a car from Faulkner again!
I am loving my new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe from Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg. I knew the car I wanted when I walked into the dealership, but I wasnt aware of all the options till Matt Ingalsbe provided a tour of the car, demonstrating the options and applications the car offered. I was very happy with the service I received from the Sales team. Matt and with the assistance of Caden, treated us with respect. They showed a desire to work out a deal and tell me about the Faulkner family, and how the service started with my purchase but would continue through the life of the car. I didnt have the same experience at another Hyundai dealership and even with the car shortage, I passed on the opportunity to purchase their car. Matt took the time to look at my car and see that it had been well maintained, it was taken it for a test drive, and then they offered me a fair trade in price. The staff at Faulkner Hyundai were all very helpful! I waited at the dealership for my routine oil change and tire rotation. The waiting area was clean and I was able to get some work done while I waited. They were short of technicians the day I went in so waited 1.5 hours instead of the usual 1 hour, but I was fine with that. Overall experience was great and would highly recommend!
Todd and the finance manager were so helpful! This is the second car Iv bought from them and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Todd even took the time to teach me all about the crazy awesome tech in my new Hyundai! I highly recommend buying your next car from these guys!
Our salesman was helpful with showing us some of the features of our car and he was not pushy. The one thing I didnt like about Faulkner Hyundai is that their advertising makes it seem like you automatically get a 100,000 mile/10 year warranty when you purchase a car, when in reality you have to buy the additional coverage. You can select different levels of warranty coverage and the dealership did not thoroughly explain it, so Im not even sure what exactly I have coverage for and for how long. As far as my 2021 Hyundai Kona, its a nice size for me and easy to maneuver but the pickup is poor and there isnt much leg room in the back, especially for toddlers in car seats (their feet are tight up against the drivers and front passengers seats).
Mike was our salesman and he is great! No hassling, responded to my questions without all the back and forth between the manager and sales person. Saved, time, money and frustration. Really good experience and would recommend Mike 100%. Best dealer I stepped into so far! I left happy with my experience and my purchase. Couldn’t wish for better!

Going to car dealerships is definitely on my list of least favorite things to do on a Saturday. But Faulkner really made the process as painless as possible. I really had my heart set on a used Elantra, so decided to give Faulkner a visit. Once I got there, Morgan, a sales associate, came outside to greet me briefly (and in a non-pushy way) and told me to let her know if I had any questions. I found a car I liked and was given ample time to look at the vehicle more closely, ask questions and take it for a spin. Carfax report was provided. Morgan was extremely transparent the entire way through the process. Once I reached the finance folks, I did feel there was a slight lack of transparency on their part, but not enough to shave off a star. Overall, I found a car I loved, in the price range I needed and the process was pretty seamless. Definitely recommend Faulkner and thank you Morgan for being awesome!!!
The minute I walked into the Hyundai dealership, I loved my experience. Every single one of the staff members became an extremely important part of me picking the best car for me. Everyone was so attentive and they all helped me in every form they could. Once I purchased my dream car, they still helped me out to the best of their knowledge.. I picked the BEST car out and I had the BEST experience with the BEST staff ever.
Even my state inspection took two days, I was very pleased with the communication between Amy E the Service Advisor and myself. She went above and beyond to make sure I knew exactly what was going on. She even stayed late to finish my paperwork and then texted me that my car was ready at 8pm. Definetley will go back.

I was pleased with my recent experience at Faulkner Hyundai. The salesmen were very courteous despite being very busy and us having to wait an hour the first visit. I felt the salesman, Caden, was very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in and also offered information on a comparable vehicle. The team was easy to work with and negotiated fairly. There were some typical sales pitches in the end that were rather long and annoying when it came to finalizing, but that happens everywhere with automotive sales. Overall, I would recommend this dealership.
Overall my experience was pretty good. The salesman I worked with was very thorough in answering questions and obtaining the necessary information. The Finance Manager was very thorough in his explanations and paperwork.The only frustrating part was that I set up an appointment to finalize the sale, only to find out that they double booked the appointment, causing me to have to wait an extra hour.In the end, we are very happy with the purchase of the vehicle.

If I was able to give more then a 5 star I would. Let me start off by saying I run a sales lot and shop so I know the ins and outs of selling cars. The staff was extremely polite and upfront with all cost and financing. They actually told me they screwed up on the paperwork and that I should have more money off of the car I would have never known that they could have taken me across for another 1k but they were honest. The whole experience was simple from the online to the in person. 45 minutes tops to driving away. They will definitely be getting my business from here on out for my new car purchases. We got our new Hyundai Tucson from Faulkner Hyundai of Harrisburg and it was a great experience. Nick was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the vehicle. The buying process was easy and pressure-free. It was also easy to schedule service at the dealership to have accessories installed on the vehicle.
The a/c appears to be working fine now, but I can tell better when the outside temperatures increase. The service took longer than expected. The LYFT order was given for the wrong house number by Faulkner and another one had to be submitted. The correction was made quickly after I called it to Faulkner’s attention.George West
Even tho we didn’t get approved for our lease at Hyundai these guys stepped it up. They called to another Faulkner dealer to see if they could leverage any relationships with their banks. That dealer did exactly that. We would be stuck in a crushing lease. Without that extra step. If the Faulkner group keeps up this service level Im a customer for life.

We had a rough start after waiting a few weeks for a service appointment. We were told the department was understaffed and it was unlikely they would have time to diagnose and fix the issue if there was not a diagnostic trouble code saved in the system. I was surprised to hear this after communicating with the service manager via email and explaining before I booked the appointment that the issue was intermittent. I had driven from York to be there by 8am, and the employee at the service department was dismissive. I understand that so many businesses are understaffed, but after dealing with the car issue for months and waiting several more weeks for an appointment, excuses are not the best words to offer to a customer looking for help.The general manager Todd Kuhn and the sales consultant Matt Ingalsbe from whom I bought the car were helpful when I contacted them looking for support. Amy Eberly was also very kind & helpful answering questions. The cars engine problem was fixed, covered in warranty, and finished the next day. Despite being disregarded or written off at the start, I appreciated the support and communication to get the problem fixed.
Normally I dont enjoy car shopping, but the team at Faulkner Hyundai made it fun, informative, and less stressful. Mike was an excellent salesperson and paired us up with a wonderful car that fit within our price range while being very kind, very attentive, and very knowledgeable. Thank you for the battery for my FOB as well.Both on the tag for the FOB as well as on the work order was a request for a valve stem cap on the rear wheel which was not accomplished. My search for a great used vehicle ended at Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg. After months of searching for a particular model/year of the Veloster, I was lucky enough to find a new listing for a recently traded vehicle at the dealership. Since the listing was so new, there was no price or pictures. I reached out via the website and got a prompt response from Taylor who answered my initial questions (and many others I had later) and sent me a few pictures she snapped too. Taylor was so pleasant, helpful, and thorough in providing me with all the information I requested. The listing price, CPO warranty, and excellent low mileage condition of the vehicle was what I had been searching for, so I decided to take the 70 mile drive to the dealership to see the car in person. When I got to my appointment I was greeted by Taylor, who then had Mike take over showing me the car. Mike was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the car I was interested in and helped seal the deal on my purchase. No pressure, no upselling, no attempting to get us in something more expensive with a lot of packages.The salesmanmwas,straight forward and actually listened to us about what we wanted. As we were in the lot we actually found a model we liked better. He was really cool our choice, after hed picked up the first car from another lot.We really like the second car and bought it on the spot. They were able to discount the car well and were quite happy with the car and the manner of the sale. When we refused the extended warranty and other offers, there was no hard sell on these lucrative offers for them.We picked up the car the next night. I noticed very small imperfections and they were only too happy to repair them.Overall this has got to be one of the most pleasant auto purchases Ive ever made. Even after we returned home, we recieved several calls asking if,we were happy with our purcase. Ill definitely do business with them again in the future.
I am super please with the service I receive on my vehicle here. Long story short, for a dealership, they do not push inspection work on your vehicle. In other words, if it passes, it passes. I appreciate that very much!

Honestly I have had a terrible experience so far...I bought my car in September...by December i had to replace the battery, and now I need all new breaks and rotors which means I have spent almost 1k on a car that I have had less then a year! I got a new car so I wouldn’t have these issues anymore...not to mention when I bought the car I was told I would have free oil changes and maintenance on my car for the first few years...took it for an oil change and was made pay for it! I will never buy a car fromThem again.

I love my new car! Buying it was easy and I feel like I got a good deal on it. The salesman I worked with was very friendly and knowledgeable. However I could have done that anywhere, and since purchasing my car Ive had nothing but issues with my warranty and loan.When I selected the cheapest extended warranty on the day I bought my car, I did so with the reassurance that I could cancel at any time. I wanted more time to research what these warranties covered before passing on them. The next day, I decided it made my monthly payment too high and I asked to cancel. It took over a week to get a call back, then I had to physically go to the dealership to have the warranty canceled. And I had to pay the difference of the warranty being active, which should have only been one day but ended up being over a week.Then it turns out that I only get a refund on the full loan balance, not a return to the original monthly payment I agreed to without warranty. This means that Im still paying the higher monthly rate but for a shorter amount of time. Because of that, I want to refinance. But I cant until this refund goes through. It was supposed to take 4-8 weeks, but its now been 10 (12 since I asked for the cancelation) and still I dont have a refund.The financial manager called me after another week of waiting and said it looks completed on their end and that Id have to call another company whom issues the refund to find out more.This has been such a hassle, and Ive wasted a lot of money waiting for this to be fixed. I was told I could easily cancel at any time and that was a lie. Boo Faulkner hyundai. ☹EDIT 5/21 @ 10am: the email provided in Hyundais response below is not valid
Faulkner was certainly accommodating from my first telephone call inquiry. They had a car that met my needs and took the time to walk me through an understanding of its capabilities, including a test drive. I was very comfortable the sales person Matt and we closed the sale that same day. Matt was conscientious to a fault in making sure we tried everything. I am very happy with the performance and driving capabilities of my purchase, an Ioniq Hybrid.

Matt Ingalsbe did everything he could to find the car I wanted at the best price (I showed deal to 8 different dealers and none could match or find the car in color We wanted) and it came earlier than they original thought. That was no problem they kept it until I could get there and did not use a test drive vehicle! Would definitely use them again. In addition, the financing was lower then could find elsewhere. Would buy from them again.

Last year, I bought my car through Faulkner, I have been returning for my oil changes regularly and each time it is quick and efficient. They are professional and explain everything to you that may or may not need addressed. My last visit, it was chaotic and super busy but the girl at the desk handled everything amazingly and still got me out of there within an hour!

My vehicle experienced a catastrophic failure leaving me stranded without transportation. I was able to shop for a new vehicle online with a great deal of help from Todd Grier. I was very nervous trusting someone I didnt know to line me up with a vehicle that would fit my needs. I was extremely happy with the Hyundai Santa Fe that he picked for me. The features, the color, the price, the discounts, the financing were unbeatable. The 10 yr/100,000 mile warranty and features have definitely made me a big fan. Wish I would have done this much sooner.

Just bought a new 2020 Hyundai Tucson from Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg this week. Our salesman Matt Ingalsbe was the best. He listened to me and found the perfect car for me. He went above and beyond and waited until the deal was done and we were completely satisfied to leave for the night. I also got the best warranty within my price point. I could not be happier! Very shady practices, sold me so much extra stuff that I didn’t need without even allowing me to read the entire contracts, and not giving me copies with the terms and conditions so I had to track them down from Members 1st and EG assurance themselves since the finance guy either quit/got fired before he could try and talk me out of cancelling them. I truly don’t know if I even signed for anything besides the vsc, theres no way it was distinguished that I was signing for separate products. Especially considering I wasn’t given any copies of any of them when I left, likely because they KNEW as soon as I figured out I got played that I’d cancel them.The vehicle service contract was sold to me under the impression that the GAP coverage was INCLUDED, NOT that they were separate charges. On top of that, they sold me another $500 maintenance package UNDER THE IMPRESSION that it was INCLUDED as Hyundai advertises and promises as complimentary maintenance for all of their new vehicles!! I have NO memory of that being distinguished, or even agreeing to pay extra for it because it was supposed to be COMPLIMENTARY.Why would I pay extra for something that is supposed to be free??It’s because I was lied to and played, that’s exactly how. The worst part is I did say no but he kept pressuring me into it so after the third opposition to my refusal I agreed because I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave. I’m young and I was alone, and because of that I was taken advantage of.On top of that, I did not leave with the car I intended to leave with. The salesman was nice so I’m trying not to bring him down too much. I do like my Kona, but ultimately if they would’ve put me in the venue I came there to test drive, I would have been a lot happier. They threw me in a Kona right away and just trashed the Venue and made me feel like I would have been an idiot for buying it. However, I definitely would’ve been a lot happier if I got the Venue I originally wanted. Too bad no one informed me of any return policy so I didn’t find out that one existed until too late!!Unfortunately this spoiled the entire experience for me.I will NOT be recommending to any friends or people I know, and I will be actively telling them to avoid Faulkner Hyundai.

Once again I have taken my Chrysler 300 To Faulkner Hyundai this time for inspection. Of course as usual they got me in an out in a snap! And I got a car wash to top it all off! The service department is absolutely amazing! Amy is magnificent! Always there to lend an ear or a hand! I don’t care what kind you have they can fix it! That’s a great team over there y’all really need to check it out! Or for that matter if you want to buy a car that’s the place to go! I recommend Faulkner Hyundai to anybody and everybody who wants great service and a great car!

My husband and I went to Faulkner Hyundai to look at a used 2016 Honda Odyssey. We had a very positive experience. We test drove the van and negotiated with Devon. He was wonderful and very respectful. There was no pushing of sales. It was a breath of fresh air! I did not feel overwhelmed or taken advantage of in any way. On July 3, my husband and I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from Faulkner Hyundai. We love our SUV, but weve had a less than stellar experience with the dealership/sales person.1. Matt, our sales person said multiple times Im so busy, as an excuse for poor customer service throughout our exchange.2. Matt sped through explaining the vehicle functions when we were about to leave. He talked super fast, because he had another customer waiting. He apologized and said he normally likes to take more time.3. The car was not detailed and had white spots all over the windshield when they brought it out after preparing it for sale. I pointed this out and he apologized saying they were super busy.4. When I followed up about the We Owe items, he agreed to clean the pollen left in all the crevices. I picked our car up today (July 15), and he never had the pollen cleaned from the gas tank, under the hood or the back hatch.5. When I picked up our car, they did not indicate where it was parked. I picked it up from the cashier. She was pleasant and apologized profusely. The service team was gone for the day,, so i had to click the lock button until I located the car.Overall, it was a less-than-plesant experience.

I tend to drive my cars a few years more than the normal driver and as a result buying a car is a novelty to me. I found the experience at Faulkner Hyundai to be a very good experience. The trade-in value on my existing car and the low list price of the pre-owned Sonata made for a great deal. I was fortunate to find exactly what I wanted via online listings. I purchased a 2018 Sonata with only 2500 miles. The newest used car I ever purchased. I paid cash so I cant speak to their financing options. I still do not like the semi-hard sell of their added warranty plans during the closing. That is the reason for the 4-star vs 5-star rating. I made it clear when I sat down at closing I was not interested but they take you through the sales pitch nonetheless. I am from the west shore at its only a short drive across the river. If you are looking to be treated nicely and to get a good deal, I can recommend the folks at Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg. Just make a good decision on the added warranty.
