Ice cream prices are as expected depending on the treat you desire, from a scope of ice cream to floats, malts and more.Or order the cotton candy and choose from about 30 characters available. Plan to spend about $15 on it, but get a personalized experience when they call your name and give you a close up view (and filming opportunity) as your character is made.Be warned if you get the cotton candy consider asking for a bag to save it for later and some water to help wash it down because lets face it, its pure sugar 🙃Parking is in abundance but be aware they are open limited hours. Also dont be discouraged by the crowd as the line moves rather quick and chairs are outside for waiting. Small groups inside all for more people to get pictures and the personal experience watching their characters come to life.

Waited about 75 minutes until we got our order, be prepared to spend at least 2 hours here, unless you get there early before they open! The cotton candy characters were about 14$ a piece, shake was about 7-8$. A little pricey but definitely worth a fun time and tasty treat! Kids love the place, a date night, or hanging out with friends. Definitely a fun spot to go to and enjoy ice cream, shakes, or their signature Cotton Candy!

My daughter wanted to come to this place so we drove almost an hour. We waited about 25 minutes to get an order in. We waited another 25 minutes for our Homer and Kirby to come out. It was amazing to see the artists shaped these cotton candy. We are completely blown away with the results.The pricing is $$$$ for a cotton Candy. We spent close to $40 for 2 cotton candy!!! Then there’s the taste. We had to eat the cotton candy after all! It was okay. The taste was just average.It was a wonderful experience but we wouldn’t drive one hour for it again.

This is definitely an experience you should try at least once! The cotton candy artwork is amazing and they make it right in front of you. We got there about 30 minutes before closing on Sunday night and didn’t wait very long at all. Their milkshakes are delicious

Amazing job to the cotton candy artist that are here, beautiful job creating all the characters. Friendly service all around and its kept clean even with all the traffic they receive. The only downside is once you receive your cotton candy character and step outside to head to your car, it instantaneously begins to melt. Mind you it was not a hot day nor gloomy or humid. Be sure to start nibbling fast before the melting begins especially inside your car. Also the shakes were delicious, overall fun experience. Be patient with the long line and 2 + hour wait, especially with all the kids that are running around and inpatient. We went on a Sunday got there at 3:15 got in at 5:45, it was worth it.

Great cotton candy place ! Be aware of the long line, we had to wait for about 1h to go inside to order, once we ordered took about 20-30min more. They do a great job and all employees are friendly 😄

Worth the 1.5 hour wait on a Sunday. They have parking outside and they offer chairs, water and a restroom while you wait. Keep in mind NOT a lot of places offer these amenities while waiting for over 30 min. Staff was really nice and very well organized. The cotton candy characters prices are from $15-$18 depending on what you choose and everyday is a new list. It’s deff too much sweet so we did not finish these artistic designs.

The guys doing the cotton-candy masterpieces were great, it’s the execution of that terrible line and the time management that sucks. It was a 2hour wait, no exaggeration. My daughters loved their cute animal creations and I’ll probably bring my nieces and nephews but solely for the aesthetic of taking a cute picture lol in reality there’s no way you can eat all that sugar.

We waited three and half hours to get our cotton candy characters but worth the wait... my kids love them and were so happy. If you haven’t been there you definitely should go it was so good... Definitely Recommended

Simply amazing. You wont regret the wait time. Price varies on cotton candy.Yoda was $11+$2=$13.Kirby and unicorn was $11+$3=$14 each.I think the $11 was for the plain rainbow looking one (my son called it a rainbow poop 😂). (Please dont hold the prices i quoted against the store; this was the price we experienced- BUT if the store changes that, then they do!)We also got a rootbeer float, a shake, and an ice cream. All yummy! We will be coming again!!

I love to visit this place the energy of the children feel happy to eat cotton candy from your favorite cartoons ... the line to buy is long but it is worth the wait it is a wonderful experience for children and adults

The Polar Playground experience was a blast for my kids. They loved seeing their candy floss creations come to life and almost felt bad eating such cute confections. We arrived 30 minutes before the store opened and we were the 6th party in line. We waited about 30 minutes after the store opened and were in and out in about 5-10 minutes. I would advise you to look at the menu before hand because there are so many options and flavors. If you wait until you are onsite to decide, you might be overwhelemed with options. Staff was quick and friendly.

We came here actually because we saw the place being shared on TikTok. The cotton candy characters were cute and intriguing, so I took my little cousins to get a cotton candy. Luckily, it was raining a bit that day, so not many customers lined up, even about two hours after opening.The staff were incredibly friendly, and the establishment followed COVID guidelines (albeit no temperature checking).As for the decor, it was simple, but also still very artsy. I saw on other social media sites that they used to have tables and chairs for sitting, but thats no longer a thing unfortunately, but they do have chairs on the outside for waiting.As for the food, the prices are a little bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for. The cotton candy characters are adorable in person. We got the Baby Yoda cotton candy, and the cotton candy was super soft and actually flavorful, unlike store bought or other places. Other than the cotton candy, we also got ice cream, which was pretty good, and I personally got a drink for myself - I forgot the name of it, but it is super chocolaty and sweet, which is perfect for chocolate lovers out there.I would definitely try to come again once the pandemic is over to just sit and hang out at the place and try some other things. Again, though known on social media for the cotton candy, they do have other items (mostly dessert) which is great for people who dont care too much for cotton candy.

The novelty of this is fun. We got the character cotton candy and it was picture worthy. The kids waited over an hour and the cost was $33 for a minion and penguin. The flavors werent amazing and it gets wet and sticky fast and not as flossy - so minus star for flavor and the long wait. It was a fun experience to try once!

Long wait. I say again long wait. About an hour to get in to order. If you can stand the wait it’s worth it cotton candy is shaped into characters. It’s done in front of you. It’s really cool. Also got a shake. It’s a shake it was good. Same for taste of cotton candy, it’s spun sugar. The fun is watching them make the character you order and then walking past the poor slobs waiting.Staff was really cool. The cashier lady came out periodically to explain stuff. She was good. Folks making the spun sugar characters were awesome.It’s expensive and a long wait. Both are worth it for the experience.

Delicious and really creative! Drove down from LA and it was worth it. Arrived 30min before opening and we were the 2nd group in when it opened so the only wait was the 30 prior to shop opening. We got Patrick and Homer and both were delicious. The cotton candy line gets long but if you don’t want that you can skip the line for shakes and other treats. Also they have the cotton candy in jars too; it’s not a character obvi but still tastes the same if you don’t feel like waiting.

It was a fun experience for my kids to watch the character being created out of cotton candy.

I waited 5 hours for a unicorn and a venom character.Its not the establishments fault at all, the service was great the employees were super nice its just this place gets super busy I went on Sunday I dont know about any other day.They offer free water for anybody standing there yes you can use the restrooms while youre waiting.Its a fun little experience once you actually get in the building to watch your characters come to life, you take your pictures and you eat your cotton candy great place but like I said its definitely something you probably do once unless youre a local and dont mind the waiting.They have ice cream milkshakes too. And if ice cream is all you want theres a separate line can stand in.

I didnt care much for the flavors of the cotton candy, but the cotton candy characters were cute. My kids loved it, but right when I got to my car Baby Yodas santa hat fell off along with one ear. The other ear looks as if its going to fall of any minute, so I had to pinch the other ear to stay in place. Besides that, the wait time is long. I got there 3 minutes after opening and was told itd be a 45 mins wait. However, I ended up waiting longer than that. I waited for about an hour and a half. Other than that, my kids loved it and wants to come back for a different character.

Oh my gosh, what a real treat this place is! Literally! They have so many creations and will put together anything awesome. Just tell them what you like and its yours. It takes them awhile to craft your perfect dessert, but dont let that stop you! Kids will enjoy watching the dessert making too. I liked my Oreo cookies dessert. Will come back soon!

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT COME HERE unless you’re willing to spend most of your day waiting in line or wandering aimlessly around Huntington Beach. (Yes, I’m trying to warn you Tiktokers bc that’s what we do for each other😂)I came here 1 hour before they opened, and after waiting for 45 minutes I was told that I needed to wait another 2 hours to get my order taken.. They said I could leave and come back once the 2 hours were up, which is why I mentioned you have to be wanting to do something in Huntington Beach while you wait.. We left.The owners need to take a management or economics course, because they clearly do not understand what supply and demand is. I wrote some tips of ways you (the owner) could use to reduce the waiting line and waiting time.1. Raise the prices of cotton candy characters.2. Buy more cotton candy supplies, and spend more time preparing characters before opening in order to get them to the customers faster.3. Open earlier! This could help you avoid having all of your customers showing up at once (aka everyone and their moms showing up all at once when you open at 1).4. Open a new location to help alleviate demand from this location. They should have the new location specialize in making only cotton candy characters (aka no ice cream). This would help your workers focus on making as many cotton candy creations instead of constantly multitasking with ice cream too.Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. I hope the owners read this. 🤞

This place is so much fun..such creativity with the employees..its a real skill to form characters out of cotton candy..they also have really good shakes i tried the pbbj shake..so delicious..but if your not patient dont even try going here..u will have to wait over an hr or more..it takes awhile to create these creations & depends how big the groups are in front of u..but besides that this place is a blast..

Wonderful owners beautiful clean shop ice cream, floats and sodas.Best of all Cotton Candy creations Thomas the train, Unicorns with all the colors and amazing masterful art work.Every child and parents had a smile seeing his happy there kids were walking out with amazing cotton candy on a stick but it’s a unicorn with eyes and colors and you can eat everything.Polar Playground lots and lots of business to you and thank you for the smiles.

A very popular place now, so you need to arrive early to get a ticket if you want a character cotton candy, even to get ice cream the wait may be at least an hour. Shakes are delicious!!! Staff is very nice and patient.

It’s a very creative way to have cotton candy, kids absolutely love it but definitely be ready to spend 4-6 in line to get one of this beautiful creatures oh and they do limited quantities per day so I would say call ahead or you’ll en up in line for 6 hours for nothing. Also the prices are very reasonable nothing crazy and the staff is very nice.

First I’d like to comment on these people giving negative reviews bc they had to wait too long outside just to get in: don’t blame Polar for your self-inflicted aggravations or complaints. If anything, blame this pandemic and the way it has altered our everyday life. It’s easy for a patron to sit there and complain about something that was inconvenient to them, but do they even know how stressful it is for a business to not only abide by the regulations & restrictions that are mandatory to even simply be open to the public? Also, there’s a reason why there’s always a long line: Good things are worth waiting for.I took my nieces and nephews to Polar Playground when I was visiting bc their parents told me about how much the kids have been raving about this place and they have yet to take them there. So, I looked into it and read up on the reviews. I knew we needed to arrive early - which is exactly what we did. We got us a ticket and then I took them shopping for some toys/clothes for a short moment until it was our time to return and order our cotton candies/ice-creams/shakes - whatever the kids wanted. Let me tell you - I think I was more impressed with the skills these cotton candy-makers have than the kids were; and trust me, they all loved everything! I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything so unique and cool in my day with dessert like this. Keep it up Polar! Definitely recommend 11-STARS!

They opened at 1pm and I was there at 2:30.They were already sold out of the character cotton candy and the line was around the corner. Cotton candy might be good, but these people really have to figure out how to do their jobs quicker and not sell out of product so early in the day. Disgraceful, and unprofessional.

I got the unicorn cotton candy and UBE ice cream, but it was so hard to decide!! Their cotton candy flavors are amazing like you really taste the cherry, passion fruit and green apple and they are so big!! Fave new dessert trend!!

The only down side is that it takes anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes after you order (depending on the number of orders ahead of you). The ice cream is amazing as well...and it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get.
