The amount of money I’ve saved by going to the library to scan textbooks rather than buying them at the bookstore.. too real. Would recommend.
Very nice set up for community college
Always clean and things are always in order/neat. And there is always someone there to help you with a smile..
Picking up books was easy.
Great place. They have supplies other than books which ia veey useful
Cashier not pleasant, funky customer service.
Very helpful people
Great they help you fine your books
I love their merchandise and their clothes are so soft and comfortable.
Great Help, I dont think they cheat students on prices thats just the basic education system over pricing everything, great and helpful workers in this store
They cheat students out of their money and financial aid. The counselors dont know what they are doing or how to help students be successful.
Very good
Great service
Its a college bookstore. Staff is pretty helpful, as long as they are not swamped. Prices are not bad, but there are a lot of websites to find used books if you would prefer it.
People there are usually nice. It just stinks when you pay 100s of dollars for books and then JJC doesnt buy them back because theyre upgrading to a newer edition. So youre basically stuck. I had to take out extra loans to cover the cost of my books. I made about $15 selling them back. While renting is cheaper, it still costs money to do so and a lot of times they only have NEW books. Its rough to be a college student in this state. Were going to school to get careers, but going into debt at the same time. There arent many scholarships, but theres plenty of money for parents and thats great, but what about us that have made the conscious decision to NOT have kids? The took the MAP grant away and youre lucky if the Pell covers half of your classes/books. Its very disheartening.
People are very friendly and helpful. They truly care more about helping you find the best (lowest priced) textbook you need rather than pushing you to a new (expensive) book. Granted, books are generally very expensive, but it isnt this bookstore thats setting the pricing.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Has all of the materials you need for your classes.
This store has all the books you need for your classes, helpful staff, and anything else you might need like pencils, notebooks, laptops, calculators, JJC merch, and even coffee mugs.
They have everything you need. The space is very cramped. The staff is very helpful.
Nice
TLDR:NICE PEOPLE not so nice bookstore thats COLLEGE RUN, always check online or at the bookstore across the road before buying if paying on your own!!!The people are nice and helpful...HOWEVER the owner of the JJC bookstore Joliet Junior college either always overcharge for books or include things that are NOT used in classGot a math book for math 127 Math for general education was 167 dollars was not hardcover was not even softcover, it was in a binder ready format and a good hundred of those dollars was because there was a mymathlab online voucher in the back of the book too that i confirmed with my teacher we would not be using for the semester. If it was hardback i would be a bit more understanding BUT paying 167 dollars for something that isnt even softback thats a pretty BIG BIG problem. I checked online and found a copy of the current book for 31 dollars too via cheeg,ALWAYS LOOK ONLINE BEFORE BUYING FOR YOUR WALLETS SAKE!!!
Overpriced. Always check Amazon first. And ISBN.nu.

Cool threads and every book that is needed

Kinda pricey for regular items
