Great bed rack! It took along time to get do to lead time but worth the wait! Thanks Guys!

I’ve been a big fan of RCI for a couple years now. Everything they produce is top notch and superior quality. When I first purchased from them years ago they were in a small shop in the middle of nowhere on the plains of Colorado. Since then they’ve expanded to a larger shop in Loveland, but they are still the same cool cats bending metal and shipping awesome products. I just bought this tent rack...holy cow. It’s heavy and sturdy and well built. The toughest thing by far on the truck! The advertised weight rating is very conservative. You could likely put an elephant on top and still be okay. Thanks guys for money well spent on another fabulous RCI product.

I ordered a front skid plate for my FJ cruiser. Customer service was very good! Always got back to me quickly about any questions I had or order status requests. Lead times are a bit big but they forewarn you of that and delivered within their stated times so all is fair.Product is awesome! Super clean, well built, good quality. Would highly recommend this company to others. Only feedback I have is I do wish there were install instructions. Not a big deal, but had to adjust some bolt placements as I realized I installed them in the wrong place the first time around and this could be a bigger deal depending on the product purchased.All in all, fantastic experience!

I have been excited to purchase a RCI Rack for my new roof top tent. I have called for over a year now and get the same song and dance that the lead time is 6-8 weeks.Im sure its a great product. But over a year now and no stock. Hmmmm!!

Placed my order on June 3rd for full aluminum skid plates and roof rack. I received my invoice. I did call before I placed my order to inquire on lead times. 2 to 4 weeks so I placed my order. It’s now July 13th and not a word. I emailed nothing. The best news my roof rack is on sale and in stock well good news where are my products 6 weeks is not 2 to 4 weeks and a contact is important when running a business. As I have received no response to email and calls I have to dispute the charges. This is my second time ordering from them.

I just want to give a big shoutout to the entire RCI Offroad team. Special thanks to Evan, Austin and Tim for helping me out the past few months on my orders over the phone. Excellent customer service and even though lead times are crazy right now for yall and every other company, yall are top notch. Have a forever customer here and yall making my pockets hurt, but its all worth it haha!

I purchased some bolt on rock sliders with powder coat and top plates for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, Long Bed from RCI on 04/24/2020 and at the time on their website they had a listed time that it would take 4-5 weeks to manufacture the item that I ordered but they were shipped out on 07/10/2020 which was 11 weeks instead of the advertised 4-5 weeks. I know that because of Covid-19 that businesses were working at reduced capacity but RCI should have at least updated the lead time on their website to reflect the actual lead times that they were currently having instead of listing false lead times.Once the rock sliders that I ordered were shipped out it was a pretty smooth experience, RCI called me over the phone the day that they were shipping out the sliders to ask if the shipping address was a residential address or a business and recommended that I have the sliders shipped to a Fedex Freight facility and that they would refund part of the shipping costs if I did that instead of shipping it to my house (which is something that most other shops probably wouldnt do and I really appreciate it). Once I received the sliders they were packed really well with foam all over the corners to protect them from getting scuffed during shipping, cardboard to prevent the sliders from rubbing up against each other, shrink wrap to prevent the sliders from moving around, and a pallet to place the sliders on top of for shipping. The only thing that arrived slightly damaged were the two frame crossmember brackets which came in a small cardboard box that was taped to the pallet and it looks like they were moving around during shipping or got hit with something because they had some scrapes on the paint and some scars on the frame crossmember brackets. I called RCI to ask them if I could exchange the two frame crossmember brackets because I didnt like the condition that they arrived in and they asked me a few questions to find out how damaged the two frame crossmember brackets were, then they suggested that they could give me a $15 refund to buy some spray paint so that I can spray paint them myself that way they dont have any exposed metal parts that could rust which was my main concern with the condition that they arrived in so I accepted their offer of a $15 refund to buy the spray paint and respray them myself.Once the day came to do the installation on the rock sliders I found out that the bolts that RCI includes to mount the sliders were actually grade 5 bolts even though on their website it says that they use grade 8 bolts where applicable (which I thought was everywhere, guess not). I also printed out extra copies of the installation instructions and I noticed that on the new installation instructions four of the 7/16 bolts had been changed from 1.5 inches to 2 inch bolts but on the installation instructions that I received with the sliders all the bolts were still 1.5 inch bolts so I contacted RCI to ask if I was going to have any issues with the shorter bolts when I try to do the installation and they said that they should still work fine but they made some of the bolts longer to make the installation easier. RCI was right, I didnt come across any problems when I tried to do the installation with the shorter bolts and their product looks great on my truck but I just wish that they were more straightforward with some of the stuff that they do like the lead times and the hardware being grade 5 instead of grade 8 like it says on their website.

I am changing my previous review...from 1 star to 5 stars. I was frustrated by the lack of communication for a major delay (12 weeks) of my roof rack being delivered and then not receiving any instructions for the installation. My husband did talk to Tim and he gave us the instructions over the phone, which was a huge help. But, I finally received an email from Austin and he took total responsibility for the delay and explained exactly what caused it. If I had been told this all along, I would have totally accepted the issues and major delays. But, it was the lack of communication that was frustrating. Austin expressed how important transparency is for their company and I totally agree. Thanks so much to Austin and Tim for excellent customer service! I highly recommend RCI for their quality work and great customer service!

You have to communicate with them, theyre not going to reach out to you. Its weird but theyre good people and the work is high quality.

Had a great experience working with the customer service team at RCI Offroad. I purchased a set of rock sliders on Cyber Monday. Although I started my purchase before midnight I didnt technically complete the transaction until just after midnight which meant that the deal was not applied. However, after reaching out the customer service team still honored the discount, which was very generous considering it was my mistake.I havent picked up my rock sliders yet but Ive heard great things about their products, and if their quality is as great as their customer service I know theyll be great.

Ordered rack on Feb 25 website said 6to8 weeks for delivery after 8 week I emailed no reply. Emailed 2 more times finally got a reply and was told since covid its been 10 so I waited additional 2weeks I understand covid has messed up everything everywhere but was told this has been the time since covid started. Now Im on week 12 emailed 2 more times still no reply guess ill try a phone call and see if that helps

My husband and I have decided to start overlanding, and after watching several YouTube videos that featured RCI bed racks, we decided to purchase one. My husband is active-duty military, and while attempting to purchase the bed rack online, noticed that they offer a discount for military and first responders. We emailed about the discount code, then got a reply the very next day (on a Federal holiday) thanking him for his service and giving him the discount code. Because of COVID-19, orders are backed up 6 to 8 weeks, but after such great customer service (Austin was the rep we worked with), we are happy to wait! He was very transparent and made us feel like we are valued customers.Cannot overstate the positivity of this experience! If we ever need another product RCI supplies, we will be coming here first!Will update when rack arrives and give feedback on shipping times and assembly!

I ordered the full skid plate package for my 5th gen 4runner. Was told it would be a 3-4 week lead time. I received it in a little over 3 weeks. Install was easy with my teenage son. Installed it all in 4 hours. Looks great and very sturdy. The aluminum will never rust or corrode from road salt. THIS is why I got it. All the holes lined up and was done with some basic ratchet wrenches and extensions. I did need to use a swivel adapter on one bolt, pretty simple. Thanks, and great customer service!

Company is miss representing lead times and delivery times. Maybe a good product but be prepared to wait 9weeks or more for it. They will tell you 4-6 and take your money no problem. As for me doubt I will see the rack this year, and buy the sounds of it I will be a poor product anyway😢

I ran into a big rock with my new skid plate and nothing happened, so that’s good.Great customer service. Worked with me on delivery location and dates for a trip. Also very easy to install. I had to do it in a parking lot and it only took 45 mins for a full skid package.

Absolute dumpster juice.Rusted product after a couple months with zero use.Friend had the same issue, they say”pay us more and we’ll repaint”.Waste of money.I’d recommend anywhere else, talk about paint and blast amateurs.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a bed rack and was told the lead time was 3-4 weeks. After 8 weeks, I still hadn’t heard anything. I finally managed to get someone on the phone, and they assured me it would get shipped out by the end of the next week. I waited an additional 2 weeks, and still heard nothing. I had to call and call until they finally shipped it while I was on the phone with them. I’m pretty sure if I hadn’t called, I would never have gotten the rack. No proactive reach out on their part informing me of delays. No attempts at trying to soften the inconvenience their ineptitude caused me.As for the rack itself, disappointing, but good enough. Definitely not as solid as advertised. They claim the steel rack weighs 80 lbs, but mine must have been half that. Sturdy enough, but definitely not the tank they try to sell you on. I based on some YouTube videos, the attachments for the utility rail were a bit different then what was received by others, and that made it more difficult to assemble. It also came exactly one carriage bolt, one locking washer, one regular washer, and one nut short. Again, the actual product was disappointing, but functional. The customer service was catastrophically crummy.

Ordered some rock sliders for my 2020 Tundra in April, picked up in July. Wait was a little long but they came out great! Perfect fit and fabrication and powder coat is perfect. Would definitely shop here again.

Talked to Jeff at RCI for an update on my skids. These guys are very professional and their customer service is awesome. It’s taking a bit longer to get my stuff, but I tremendously appreciate that they actually pick up their phone and are able to update me on what the hell is actually going on. Got full skids for the taco. Will probably be getting the bed rack too. Way to go guys! MERICA!

These guys are awesome and I love my 2011 Tundra sliders. I was moving from Montana to Texas back in Nov and planned on picking up my slider on my way to Texas hoping to stuff them into the bed of my truck. Unfortunately you know how moving goes; you never realize how much stuff you own until you move. When I arrive in CO to pick-up my sliders, I only had one choice - I need to install them. So with the kids in the back and my wife watching, RCI was there to help me out of a jam. With support from one of the Reps we were able to temporary bolt on my sliders for the remaining drive to Texas. Thank RCI for all the help. Love the slider and previouly purchased skid plate. My petite wife loves the slider too.

Josh was great to work with when ordering and I was going to be in Colorado off-roading anyway so I picked up my skid plates in person. The two guys I met were very helpful and I saw at least 3 lifted Toyotas. Im looking forward to getting the skid plates installed.

Quality! I ordered a 05-Present Tacoma Full Skid Package for my 06 Tacoma. I installed the skid plates last night and they fit perfectly. These guys do quality work. You can tell they take pride in what they do! I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.

I ordered a rack in Oct from RCI for my 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. Received the rack roughly 3 weeks later and was told that from the sales person that it would take that long. I showed up to pick the rack up and I was promptly greeted by one of their employees,he quickly helped load my boxes into the back of my truck.Hardware was missing from my order but it was corrected the next day and they even brought it to my work for me. It was awesome!!Great product and great customer service.

RCI is the most professional metal fabrication company Ive ever dealt with. Ive purchased skid plates in the past from them and recently a rear bumper for my truck. Ive been kept in the loop the entire time about where my hard earned money was spent and the fabrication process was only about 2 weeks! I was also given all reasonable shipping options via phone call.

More month from order date till today - still nothing...good luck to contact them over the phone - not working number or other issues...not recommended at all !!

Dont order from RCI during COVID if you have any sort of timeline in which you need your product.I ordered a bed rack from their website with an advertised 3-4 week lead time. My issues began when I tried to reach out by calling numerous times (about 10 or more times), sending an email to their support, and having to result to Facebook to elicit any sort of response. Others have also agreed as evidenced by their interactions with my Facebook post that they have been less than pleased with their experience with this company.After finally getting a response through a random text message, I asked about package security due to issues with stolen packages in my complex. I was willing/wanted to pay more for a signed delivery I was reassured that I would receive a tracking number. I decided to let it go however, the mysterious text response from an unidentified person did not answer my first question about WHEN the package would actually arrive.Again, I decided to just let the nonresponse to my question go for a couple weeks. I began to have this sinking feeling that I would not get my rack in time unless I became a squeaky wheel. After asking numerous times WHEN my package would arrive with no answer, I reached out on Facebook to the only place I received a response.Seeing as I placed my order on June 10, with the advertised lead time it should be shipped by July 10 which would be here in time for a trip I am going on which depends on this rack for the set-up. The item was shipped July 13th which is within the window but this ONLY happened because of the ridiculous amount of times I had to pester them about order updates.If it wasnt for the fact that I was advocating for myself I am not confident that the rack would have reached me in time. My evidence for this is that after my fourth exchange with them on FB a line from a message was I will shuffle things around in order to get it shipped on time. While I appreciate this, I know of other customers who are simply waiting around months later who have not received a product.With the great reviews, I assumed customer service would have matched but unfortunately that wasnt the case. Obviously, the entire globe is dealing with the impacts of COVID-19 and this company is no different. I am understanding of this, however they did nothing to communicate delays that would have inevitably happened if it were not for my constant pestering. A few words and communication really go a long way in the world of customer service.The absolute cherry on top of the sundae was receiving my package with the box completely beat up and contents exposed (FedEx or poor packaging?) and as I installed my rack on my truck finding that they left out a set of carriage bolts and nuts that I paid for as I ordered an extra bar.TLDR: If you have a great deal of time with no certainty about when your product will come, then order from this company. Otherwise, pay more to work with a company that isnt quick to take your cash and slow to answer your questions.

The quality of their skid plates is oem or better. Fit and finish is amazing and the only skid plates I would buy. They have several options to fit your needs. I couldn’t believe how well the transmission plate fit and worked with what I already had.

Love there products. Just installed the sliders on my car and absolutely love them. Amazing quality and welds!! Makes me want more of there products for sure. Did a local pick up and very helpful and freindly staff. Would and will be buying from them again!

3 stars for now. Great products, and reasonable prices but I struggle to get replies via email and cannot get anyone on the phone, nor call backs.

I recently purchased a bed rack for my truck from RCI, and opted for pick up. I am impressed with the quality of what I purchased, but what really got me was the dedication to customer service. They really went out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I will be returning to purchase more from them, for sure!
